Battle Style: Logan tends to go for the quick kill whenever possible by exploiting type weakness and overpowering his foes, but is fond of stalling out opponents with status ailments as well. He will almost never use stat-altering moves, and isn't above switching Pokémon regularly throughout the course of a single battle.

Looks: Logan is a young man with a medium build and fair complexion. His fairly short, well-groomed blue hair (naturally black) accents his dark green eyes and his mature demeanor. His face and arms are lightly dusted with faded freckles and a pair of conservative black-rimmed glasses sit atop his nose. He has fairly small hands for his size and gender, but is rather dextrous.

Logan tends to dress simply. This means solid color, collared T-shirts usually in cool colors (blue, green, black, etc.) and loose-fitting blue jeans when on the road or in a casual setting, and white button-up shirts and slacks when he needs to be more presentable. Wears grey tennis shoes most of the time, the soles of which are generally covered in brown and green stains from wearing them into the field.

Personality: Typically laid-back and analytical, perhaps betraying his interest in studying Pokémon and the world they inhabit. He's fond of keeping a notebook out and writing logs of different behavioral patterns he sees between wild and trained Pokémon, though this tendency to collect details often distracts him during battles, training, etc. As such, he tends to come of a bit scatterbrained.

Logan has a fascination with new finding new places and Pokémon, and will spend a lot of time in each new area he comes across. Woe betide any who would travel with him, as he may slow down their progress by a considerable amount trying to find new Pokémon or landmarks.

Around other people, Logan tries to be as helpful and polite as possible, but has a sarcastic lilt in his speech that, while usually good-natured, may come across as mean-spirited. He often talks to himself whether people are around or not, giving him an air of detachment from others around him, but tries to remain receptive to other people's needs.

History: Logan was born in Pallet Town and grew up there fascinated in the science and workings of the world around him. He worked a job at Professor Oak's Laboratory for a year and received his Squirtle, Enki, as an personal assistant of sorts, but never really took to battling. Logan's interests lay purely in researching, and so he spent most of his life in schools dedicated to Pokémon research. Logan recently hoped to enroll in a nearby university to focus his studies so he could become a researcher in his own right, perhaps on par with Prof. Oak himself. Or so he had hoped.

A problem arose when he realized, almost too late, that said university (and really any university his family could hope to afford) took a potential student's Trainer records very seriously when it came to deciding acceptance, and without any time or accomplishments as a Trainer, no university would likely accept him regardless of his many years of schooling.

Reluctantly, Logan has made plans to leave Pallet Town to make an attempt at the Pokémon League Challenge, with the hopes that proving his worth as a Trainer will be enough to get him the education he needs to accomplish his dream.
