Journey Beginnings In Lavender Town(OPEN)

The morning sun arises Kotaro's room is empty as his parents stare in horror of their missing child. The scene changes to Kotaro headed towards Celedon City. "Elle elle kid?" Asked Ellie. "Yes, I do feel bad leaving like that but...I swear on it that I will find that old pal of mine." Replied Kotaro. "Elle..." Ellie said looking down to the ground. -pats Ellie on head- "No need to worry gal, we will find her and be reunited again" Kotaro said comfortingly. "Alright lets just get going then!" Kotaro screamed. "Ellie ELE!!!!" Ellie jumped up for joy.
Kotaro and Ellie headed down route 8 at full speed!

As Kotaro entered the route, a fumbling could be heard around nearby bushes. "No, no, no," A female voice came from the direction. She sounded frustrated, and rather upset. Though her tone was quite like that of someone talking to herself. "How could this happen? I'm gonna get in so much trouble!"

Kotaro is confused at first. Kotaro looks at Ellie. "should we do something?" Kotaro asked? "Elleee?" questioned Ellie. "Hmm...well here goes nothing!" Kotaro shouted as he ran towards the sound. "Are you okay?...." asked Kotaro in a not amused voice as if he didn't want to help her.

"Huh, what?" The girl asked, quickly spinning arund. She had been on the ground, where a broken bottle and pokeball were laying. Tere were a few tears in her emerald eyes, as the wind blew through her soft cropped blonde hair. "I broke it...the medicine...and the pokéball..." She said quietly, biting her lip and wiping a tear from her eye afterward. "There's a sick Pokémon who needed this medicine...and now I don't think I can get more in time...and the Pokémon escaped when the ball broke..." The girl stammered, speaking in broken bits of sentences.

"Err? Calm down calm down..." ((Man this is embarrassing)) Kotaro thought.
-sigh- "I will help you out I just left Lavender Town and my mother used to be a nurse so she should have some medicine." Kotaro said. "Lets skip the intro's call me Kota and you run back to Lavender Town get the medicine and I will search for those pokemon.But first... what is the pokemon that escaped?" Kisuke asked.

"No you don't understand...this was a special medicine, it has to be hand made..." The girl clenched a broken piece of the bottle that had been in her hand, flinching when she realized it cut her a bit. "Ow...oh...I'm so stupid..." She muttered, staring down at the trickle of blood. "But maybe we can get the ingredients to make more..." She looked up to Kota hopefully. "I need three burnt berries, the kind you find after wild Pikachu or Pusle and Minun zap them. In addition I need a bit of Combee honey, seven Pineco seeds, and fresh spring water...can you help me?"


She stared at him for a moment before realizing. "Oh I'm sorry, you can call me Shana," she said, with a half-polite bow. "The Pokémon in question is a young male Growlithe. He has a limp, and the tips of his mane and tail are black. We've been trying to nurse him back to health since we found him last week..."

-sigh- "This just gets more and more complicated...." Kotaro said. "Alright we will do our best just wait here." Kotaro said. "Ellie I believe there are Pikachu's near here...if you pick up any electricity I want you to folow it." Kotaro said. "Elle ele kid!" Ellie said. Ellie picks up a wave of electricity and spins her arms while running towards it. Kotaro follows.

Shana nodded at Kotaro. "Thank you very much!" She said gratefully, though still quite worried. "I'll go this way and look," the girl said, walking in another direction. It didn't take long before Kotaro came upon a Plusle happily munching on berries. It seemed like a bit of luck was on his side...except none of the berries were zapped.

Wild Plusle, female. Level 5.

"Oh here we go...and perfect timing." Kotaro said looking at plusle."Alright go Ellie!" Kotaro pointed his finger and Ellie ran up towards Plusle. "Lets... try not to hurt it too much..." Kotaro said. "Ellie use Hammer Arm!!!" Kisuke ordered. "ELLEEE!!!" Ellie ran up towards the plusle swinging one arm around and lunged her fist!

"Plus?" The little Pokémon cooed, turning around cutely. However, it wasn't really expecting Elekid's arm to slam across her head. "Pusle!" She cried out, toppling over. She got back to her feet, gritting her teeth. She bRd her teeth at Ellie, growling menacingly. "Sllllllleeee..." Plusle used growl!

Ellie started to shake, her thrive to attack lowered. "Ellie?...hm lets get this over with soon!" Kotaro said taking out a pokeball. "Alright Ellie...lets do our signature move!" Kotaru said pointing his finger. Ellie used wild charge towards the plusle and at the very last second she hops in the air while a pokeball was thrown right behind the plusle and the ball headed towards plusle from behind.

Pusle, this time more ready for an attack jumped to the side to avoid it, thus avoiding the pokeball as well. "Pluss...SLEEE!" She cried out, her body and cheek pouches crackling. She let out a weak wave of electricity, meaning more to paralyze the opponent than anything. The pokeball lay on the ground empty, having missed its intended target. Pusle used Thunderwave!

Ellie falls down with sparks appearing so often from being paralyzed. "Ellie....-memories flash back- ....Elekid...ELEKID.....no..." Kotaro fell to his knees staring at Ellie. A tear rolled down Kotaro's cheek. "Ellie I don't want you to hurt your self......so don't move....." Kotaro said standing up and wiping tears away. Kotaro picks up a pokeball curls the ball in his hand and in a strange way threw the ball at plusle. This was taught to me at trainer school!...HAH! Kotaro threw the ball with as much force as he can muster "Please...end this pointless hurting!" Kotaro murmured

Plusle looked frustrated. Like she was at her wits end, and out of tricks to use. In a fit, she mustered up every bit of strength she could, and rushed at Ellie. It was a strange attack, and looked rather desperate. A if it was her last resort. As a matter of fact, that was exactly what it was. However, mid-attack she felt the ball contact her body, eyes opening wide as she turned to see Kotaro's flustered face.

The ball opened up, absorbing the tiny Pokémon within its light. Landing on the ground, it began to light up and shake vigorously. Plusle was trying her hardest to break free! The ball rocked once...twice...three times, and finally came to rest. Plusle was captured!

Plusle, female level 5. Moves: Growl, Thunderwave, Last Resort. Would you like to name her?

"Hmm...It's over....you were a strong one I will give you that.... I shall call you Shori(Victory in japanese)" Kotaro smiled while holding the ball. Ellie still paralyzed was shaking still. Kotaro handed a berry to Ellie that he found on the ground. "Eat up! there is more than enough here." Kotaro smiled. "Eleee ELE KID!!" Ellie said while chowing down. "GO Shori! -sent out Plusle-" Kotaro shouted. The ball opened releasing Shori to the wild. "Pluu pluusle!! " Plustle said coming out of the ball. "Lend me your power Plusle! Use thunder wave on those berries!" Kotaro said. "pluuu PLUSLE!!!!!!" Plusle let out a weak charge of electricity that when hit the berries left them all burnt up. "Phew now that is out of the way...." Kotaro sighed. "This is Ellie she is a nice kind electric pokemon like you! Please get along well." Kotaro grinned. "Plu plu plusle!!!" Shori exclaimed in excitement. "Elllleeee kid.." Ellie looked at Shori and went behind Kotaro's leg. "Now now, we will have time for this intro stuff later. The faster we get this mission over with the faster I can get out of here and make it to Celadon City!" Kisuke said as he returned Shori and ran wildly around searching for that Growlithe.

Instead of running into the growlithe, Kotaro again came across Shana. However, she looked like she was in trouble. Her eyes were filled with tears of fear, and she was surrounded on three sides by Pineco! She looked up, seeing Kotaro, eyes pleading. "Please help!" she cried, shuffling her feet as the Pineco moved in.

"GAH! W-what did you do!?!?" Kotaro screamed. "GO Shori!" Kotaro sent out Plusle. "Go Ellie" Kisuke pointed towards the pineco. "Shori use thunder wave over the pinecone and Ellie Ram into them with your Wild Charge!!!!" Kisuke shouted They attempted to use this combonation of moves.

"Pineco?" One of the Pineco grunted, turning to see Shori charge up, and send the wave at him. He became immediately paralyzed, struggling to move. "...co..." This got the others attention, who turned on Kotaro and his Pokemon instead. As Ellie charged forward, the largest of the three jumped in front, and put up a protective barrier which nullified Ellie's move. Pineco used Protect!

The third Pineco then hopped forward, launching itself at Shori. They must have been a family unit with the way they battled as a team. Pineco used Tackle! Shana seemed relieved that they had turned their attention away from her, and scurried around to where Kota was. "I'm sorry, I was just trying to get the Pineco seeds!" she sobbed apologetically.

"It's okay." Kotaro said clenching his fist at the sight of seeing his pokemon get hurt. "Hmmm I have an idea...Back up guys.... Ellie Use hammer arm at the paralyzed one and aim it at the other two! Shori Use growl at the other two pokemon that arent paralyzed!!!" Kisuke ordered. The plan has started!

The hammer arm successfully came down on the Paralyzed bug, but wasn't so successful against the others. This time, the smaller one hopped forward and protected her elder brother! Pineco used protect! Then a low rumbling came from Shori, as she growled intimidatingly at the Pineco siblings. They wavered, potential attack power lowering for now. The larger male then shot out from behind her, aiming to tackle Ellie, who had harmed his younger brother. Pineco used Tackle!

"This isn't going great at all....I wonder....." Kotaro mumbled. "Elee...." Ellie looks sort of exhausted and Shori isn't looking to hot either. "Oh....god..this is bad." Kotaro said. "Shana....scream out for the growlithe if you could...hopefully it will hear you and come here...I will hold them off till then." Kotaro said. "Ellie use thundershock !!! Shori use last resort!!!!!" Kotaro screamed. "Can't hold out much longer" Kotaro thought. ((BTW So sorry i've been addicted to reading a webcomic called homestuck and I couldnt escape it.... :/ and school and FCAT and sturrfff sorry.))

Shana looked worried about Kota's Pokemon, trembling a bit. She hated seeing Pokemon get hurt. Her hearing was hazy, and she almost didn't hear Kota at first, breaking from her trance when she heard her name. "Huh? Oh, yes!" she stuttered, running a few feet back and cupping her hands around her mouth to project her voice. "Growlith! Growwwllyyyy! Here, Growlithe!!!" She called, clasping her throat afterward having strained her vocal chords.

The larger male Pineco again jumped in front of his younger sister, however his Protect failed him. Ellie's thundershock struck him, causing him to wince in pain. Shori had the right idea, managing to sneak to the paralyzed one and strike him hard with her Last Resort! The bug Pokemon teetered, falling over unconscious. Pineco Fainted.

This only enraged the other two, however. This clearly showed in their eyes, as they worked themselves up into a frenzy. "Pineco, pine!" they cried, lunging at the two Pokemon. Pineco (m) used Tackle on Ellie! Pineco (f) used Tackle on Shori!

-Ellie is thrown back with Shori- Kotaro looked down away from his hurt pokemon in fear. ...... "There is two of them left...almost done guys...Come on ! ...."Kotaro nudged his pokemon up to their feet. "WHO IN HELL DO YOU THINK WE ARE!!!!!!!" Kotaro screamed putting in his earphones. -kotaro glares at the pineco- ...-kotaro takes a deep breath- ...... "Ellie GRAB PLUSLE AND USE HAMMER ARM TO THROW PLUSLE ABOVE ONE OF THE PINECO(M)!!!...PLUSLE USE THUNDER WAVE AT THE OTHER PINECO(F)..... ELLIE CHARGE AT THE PINCO(F) THAT PLUSLE IS ABOVE WITH WILD CHARGE!!!!!!!!!" Kisuke ordered.
