Building a team. catching pokemon on Route 31

It was dark. The overcast skies block out what little light there was this night. Zher could barely make out the moon behind the clouds. To the north he could make out the mountain that Dark Cave ran through. He was wandering among the trees looking for any nocturnal pokemon that might be lurking about.

It's a wild that seemed to have been following Zher for a while. Its silent footsteps and slow breathing means its planning something during this dark night.

Stantler/M/9

It was quiet, and the low lighting made it almost invisible. If it didn't move so close, Zher wouldn't have seen it. It was times like these that Zher wished that he had gotten a pokedex. Judging from the outline, it was a large pokemon. Well Large for this part of the region.

Zher went for his Totodile. Throwing the ball out into the air. In the middle of it's arch it open up and a red light shot out. The light reach the ground and begin to from the outline of his Totodile. Once Totodile was fully out, it took a quick look to around before his eyes were drawn toward the outline of the pokemon in front.

With Totodile now reveled, the mystery pokemon stepped closer to revel that it was a Stantler. "Totodile use Water Gun." As soon as Zher said that command a high power stream of water shot out of Totodiles mouth and headed straight for the Stantler.

The Stantler, who is used to the darkness, dodged the foe's attack with ease. Planning on worsening the foe's disadvantage, the wild Pokémon thinks that a sudden twinkle of light would make the foe's vision poorer. Stantler gives an intimidating Leer with sharp eyes that should lower the foe's Defense stat and even as not part of its effect, the foe's accuracy will probably reduce greatly as well.
