Cerulean city Training for the gym leader! (OPEN)

As Raymond walk through the gateway of cerulean city he looked up at the sky. It was a nice day a perfect day for training Raymond thought. As he walkedinto the city he then headed toward the nearest patch of grass looking of an opponent he could battle.

A trainer stepped out from behind a tree. "Hi. Judging by the pokeballs on your belt, I suppose you're a trainer? How about a 4-on-4?" He said, idly twirling a pokeball.

PKMN trainer Niko would like to battle!

Raymond crossed his arms and accepted the battle. He first sent out his Bagon. "Baku Stand." The small Bagon jumped out of its pokeball ready for battle.

Drake nodded and sent out a strange rag-doll creature, Shuppet.


Level 7

"Shuppet, use Night Shade!" Drake cried, as the background suddenly went misty and spooky, and as Shuppet loomed out of the dreary background to hit Bagon.

Baku took the hit from Shuppet but stood his ground. "Baku use Bite" Baku ran toward the shuppeet and barred his teeth preparing to sink it into the shuppet's body.

Shuppet dodged the attack, if by a hair. The narrow escape left it shaken but it still had enough in it to use Screech, opening it's mouth wide and screaming in a high-pitched voice, looking to lower defenses sharply.

Baku was unaffected by the screech attack and continued to try and use bite on the Shuppet. "I hope you know we don't plan to lose... GO BAKU!!" Raymond shouted

The Shuppet was bitten, hard. It floated high and and used Knock Off.

Baku winced as he took the attack. But luckily he didn't seem very hurt. "Baku lets end this... Use Dragon Rage" Purple flames began to fill Baku mouth before he spit the plethora of purple flames at the shuppet.

Shuppet took the attack head on and fainted. "Aw man...no fair..." Niko said as he recalled Shuppet. "Go Turtwig!"


level 13

"Hmmm not the best move ..." Raymond yawned "Go use Leer" Baku glared at Turtwig with great intensity.

Sweat drops beaded Turtwig's forehead as it faced Bagon's glare. It lifted it's forelegs and kicked out with it's back legs, using Razor Leaf, sending small but powerful glowing leaves at Bagon.

"take it" Raymond said as Baku took the hit head on. It looked like it hurt but Baku still looked ready for battle. "Baku lets finish this quickly. Flamethrower!!!" Baku spit the ray of red hot flames at the turtwig.

Turtwig dodged it, if by a hair. It gave a battle cry and used Razor Leaf again.

Baku rolled over on its side avoiding the leaves that were flying at him. Then he once again used flamethrower on the Turtwig.

Turtwig hung on by a thread as it used Synthesis, restoring health, then firing another Razor Leaf.

Baku struck by the razor leaf began to pant. Raymond could tell that Baku was at his limit but instead of switching out Baku Raymond allowed Baku to use flamethrower one last time. The red hot flames spewed from Baku's mouth at the turtwig.

This time Turtwig fainted. "Aw man! You just lucked out!" The kid complained. "Watch out! One of my stronger pokemon are coming! Go!" The kid tossed a pokeball out of which a Victreebel appeared!


level 34

Raymond quickly pulled his Bagon back inside of it's pokeball. He looked at the Victreebel. It looked strong. Stronger then any of the pokemon before it, but Raymond wasn't going to give up. He pulled out another pokeball and sent out his Poochyena, Myth.
"Myth Stand By."
Myth came out the pokeball and howled. Myth was ready for battle.
"Myth use sand attack"
Myth sent a flurry of sand toward Victreebell.

The Victreebel waved it's long leaves and blew away most of the sand, nevertheless it's accuracy was lowered. "Use Sleep Powder!" The kid cried as Victreebel belched out a load of green powder. "Follow it up with Leaf Tornado!" Victreebel waved it's leaves again, creating a powerful tornado of leaves.

Myth fell asleep by the powder and knocked hy up into the air by the tornado before hitting the ground fainted. Raymond sighed before returning his pokemon to its pokeball. Then Raymond produced another pokeball and sent out His deerling. "Deerling use double kick goo!" Deerling ran at the victreebell and kicked at it with both feet.

Victreebel took the hit with batting an eyelid (?). It swung out a vine and dashed for Deerling's legs, aiming to toss it high.

Deerling was sent flying high into the air when it hit the ground it fainted. Raymond sighed. His team was not strong enough to continue battling so he returned his pokemon to their pokeballs and walked away from the battle. He began to walk toward the poke center.

"W-wait! You're done?" The kid called, running after him.

"Yes, yes I am... I know when I've been outclassed." Raymond said as he continued to walk toward the pokecenter. He hadn't expected to face such a powerful pokemon so soon. He continued to walk staring at the pokeballs which Myth and Deerling were inside. Both of them fainted in one hit. Sighing he continued to walk toward the pokecenter but not before saying. "Don't worry... I'll be back for a rematch."
