Hunting in the Forrest

Melony was being carried by Aerodactyl. Every day they took off, looking for fun and adventure. Today, they decided to head for Viridian Forrest. The place was full of Bug Pokemon, Easy prey for Aerodactyl. As the forest approached them, Aerodactyl swooped down and they landed on the ground floor.Melony looked around, hoping to find some kind of Wild Pokemon to fight.

The trainer got her wish. Suddnely a little weedle came out, though it didn't seem like it wanted to fight.

Weedle, Male, Lvl 8

BEfore Melody could even think about whether or not it would be wise to attack an unwilling opponent, Aerodactyl swooped in with Fire fang, ready to tear into the enemy.

The weedle was defenceless, and nonetheless, was not expecting to be attacked. Immediately it was caught off guard, and the attack did critical damage. "Wee-ee," it screeched as it was bitten. It decided to counter attack by using poison sting.

Melody gave up and decided to let the past be the past. "Ignore the pain. You're a Rock Type, rock types are resistant to Poison. Hit it again!" Aerodactyl listened, but even she was weary to the poisonous needles coming her way. She swooped to the side, hoping to have avoided there hit and swooped in for another Fire Fang

The weedle, like before, was defenseless and had no idea how to battle. The fact that it had even decided to engage battle against the aerodactyl was stupid for it to do, it would admit, and it needed to escape. It attempted to flee, but it wasn't fast enough, and thus, got bitten by the pokemon. It knocked out, and Melody needed to decide to defeat or capture.

Aerodactyl stood before the weedle, ready to finish the job at Melody's orders. She nodded, and Aerdactyl smacked her wing into the Weedle, signaling her win over the small creature. Melody didn't need to capture a Pokemon right now. If she needed to later, she could always find a better Pokemon.

After Aerodactyl was done, she flew back to Melody, where she gave her a swift talking to. "Now listen here, we are not savages. That little guy was completely defenseless. We aren't going to just go around needlessly beating up the entire Forrest. That'll give us a bad rep. We're going to choose our opponents wisely."

After that, they began looking gain for a wild Pokemon

Aerodactyl gained 8 XP!

As the two walked, a pidgey showed itself from a tree. "Pidg," it called, as if tempting them to come after it.

Pidgey, Lvl 10, Female

Pointing towards the Pidgey, Melony smiled. "Now look, see? This guy WANTS to fight us. So go get him!" Aerodactyl took that as a welcome invitation and swooped in with thunder Fang.

The pidgey wasn't alone. It couldn't have just tempted the trainer and pokemon unless it had a reason, so here it was. There was a few of the pidgey waiting for them. As the aerodactyl was going to make it's attack, the three pidgey jumped out from the tree in attempts to damage the bird.

Aerodactyl ignored the incoming Pidgey and continued her attack on the targeted Pidgey. Her eyes wouldn't leave it and she was going to sink her Thunder Fangs into it.

Apparently ignoring the two pidgey that were blasting at the pokemon made them slightly angrier. They continued to bustle around, each trying their hardest to knock the pokemon out of the air. They wanted it to land on the ground so they could tackle it, so they were trying their hardest. All their fidgetting must have knocked the pokemon around slightly, as when it's fangs sunk into the first pidgey, it didn't do as much damage as it probably should have with no obstacles in the way. The pidgey that got hit couldn't exactly do much damage, and it resorted to helping the other pidgey shake the pokemon about so it would land on the groudn.

Latching onto her target, her job was accomplished, allowing Allowing her to break free and tear off from the rest of the folk of angry Pidgey. Melony watched in surprise. They were still rookies, how were they supposed to handle this? The only way she could think of would be to take them down one by one. "Aerodactyl, aim for the weakest looking one first!" Aerodactyl flipped around and spotted the one she meant. Its wings weren't as large and neither was its beak. Aerodactyl hit it with a Scary Face before charging in to tear into it with a Thunder Fang

The pidgey was gonna attempt to run, but it wasn't able to. It watched the incoming aerodactyl, and it simple slipped a tear. It wasn't ready to leave the world, so when it got attacked, it did critical damage. The pidgey flew a long ways away, and disappeared into the trees. Whether it was still alive was to be determined, so it would be better to attack another one.

"Great, now hit the next one!" Melony cheered as Aerodactyl swooped towards the second to last target. This one was considerably stronger than the last one, but it definitely wasn't the strongest in the group. Like before, Aerodactyl hit it with a Scary Face before striking with Thunder Fang

The pidgey was too busy looking at the other flying to notice that the Aerodactyl was coming at it. The fangs sunk into the bird, and it gave out a loud screech. It was in pain, and the strongest pidgey jumped down and began charging at the opposing pokemon. It had damaged two of it's friends, so now it was gonna take some damage. It continued charging, prepared to tackle the pokemon.

Seeing the incoming Pidgey, Aerodactyl switched from Thunder Fang to Ice Fang and swooped in to take on the Pidgey

The pidgey didn't forsee the aerodactyl attempting a counter attack, so it immediately tried it's hardest to jump out of the way. It was a success, though it was hard for the pidgey to do since it was trying to attack. It stopped for a second, trying to catch it's breath whilst the other two regathered their strength to attack.

Seeing that the Pokemon still had some life in them, Aerodactyl used another scary Face on both of them. Once they slowed down to sitting ducks, She could take them out with ease

The pidgey's looked at the pokemon's scary face, and they were horrified. They slowed down, almost looking like they would become ice blocks, then they ran to the strongest pidgey. All of them, together, began charging at the aerodactyl, in an attempt to tackle it with much force. The majority of the force was to come from the strongest, though, as it was not as slow as the others.

Aerodactyl saw them both coming at her at the same time and attacked the strongest one first. Her mouth changing back to Thunder Fang. Her wings also grew stronger with focus, ready to use Wing Attack to lariat the two other birds as they cam close.

[[Dunno what to say, but it isn't seeming that many of the attacks are even successfully landing on your pokemon. You may need to tone that down slightly, as dodging too much is considered godmodding. Just a friendly notification...]]

The two weakest pidgeys to a jump to the side, inevitably dodging any damage that was headed their way. The strongest pidgey continued onward with the tackle, and it was aimed at the opposing pokemon's wing, as all three pidgey knew it would try to counterattack against their tackle. The pidgey charged and charged, and it was a few feet away from bashing that aerodactyl's wing with a slightly power-charged tackle.

[I'm not dogging too much. Where have i said that. I have taken so many hits. But Aerodactyl is a rock type. they have high resistance to normal and flying moves. I've only dodged, nothing. I've only partially dodged or counter-attacked. I can still take damage from a counter attack. But I don't know what my HP level was to begin with, so I don't know what it could have dropped too.]

Aerodactyl took the tackle to it wing and dropped to the ground. this was better than dodging the hit cause if Aerodactyl flew off, she would be inevitably followed by the group. But if she took the hit and fell, then she gave then impression of defeat. And that meant they would be less inclined to chase after her. But Aerodactyl wasn't a mind reader, so she couldn't truly predict their attack choice.

Melony began cheering for Aerodactyl to run away. This didn't appeal to her point of view, but she conceded. She would play tag with them. But as she began flying, she realized what her master meant. In a group fight, more often than not each member would have a variation in strength and speed, making each one faster or slower. In a straight race like this, the fastest of them one be separated and closer. Aerodactyl would use this to her advantage to slide back once the line was formed and strike with a Scary Face/Thunder Fang combo on the closest opponent. She would then speed up and repeat the chase scene again and again.

[[You're supposed to know by looking at how many posts it has been and how much damage has been dealt or dodged. And just one question. How can you have not dodged, but then have dodged partially or counterattacked? Your two statements don't agree XD]]

In fact the fastest one at the time did begin following the pokemon. The other two stayed behind, wondering if it was a trap, but the fastest [also the strongest] still followed after it. It was gonna tackle the pokemon because it seemed to be a little weak [cause it fell from the sky].
