To Be a Water Specialist

Vaporeon whimpered and nuzzled into Aqua's hand. It was still a little scared, but now it was a water type? She was like the little Manaphy that was hugging her neck? She could live with that. She slowly started to calm down and just breathed. She actually liked this new body. She felt like she could be a fast swimmer, like she could play with the pokemon that lived deep in the water. Eventually she became happy about her change and almost purred in happiness.

Aqua smiled as she saw the change in the Vaporeon's expression. She had gotten her into this mess so she was glad she could sort of get her out of it she supposed. Always better to think positively. "That's what I like to see. Maybe you can come with us too. I have lots of water pokemon. I could show you how to reach your potential if you let me. I can even manipulate water." Aqua wasn't sure if the Vaporeon understood what she was saying at all but she tried to convey it by petting the slick blue skin.

The Vaporeon was curious about this human who said she could help her and could control water. This could be fun. She already really liked Manaphy, and this blue haired girl was becoming her friend. She chirped a positive sounding chirp and nudged the girl's hand.

Aqua smiled and gave her another pat again before taking out another pokeball. Today was turning out to be very productive, she just wondered if Kimiko was having the same luck. "That's great to hear. Alright, well just click this button if you want to come along. I'll even leave you out of the pokeball if you want. I'm sure Manaphy would like a companion to ride on." Aqua giggled at Manaphy seemed to confirm her words by flailing happily, still on vaporeon's back. Though she slid off for a moment to see what the Vaporeon would do.

Vaporeon knew she wanted to come with the pair, but she wasn't so sure about the ball that was placed before her. She kind of held her breath and pushed the button with her paw. She was drawn in and stayed in until the ball stopped shaking. About a minute later she popped out and shuddered. She really didn't like being in that thing.

(Vaporeon joined your team. Would you like to give her a name?)

Aqua took the pokeball, immediately letting the Vaporeon out and placing Manaphy on her back. "Well, thank you for joining us. I think I'll call you Shiva. That's perfect for you." Her Vaporeon looked at her and smiled before nuzzling Aqua's leg and they continued forward. "I think that's enough for today. Let's head back to see what Kimi is doing."After a little bit of walking, Aqua took a break by a smal pond. Letting Fred, Shiva, and Manaphy all play around in the water. It was cute to watch, but Aqua removed to egg from her bag wondering when this one would hatch. Manaphy had hatched while she had been held, she wondered if maybe putting it in water would help hatch this egg. Aqua hesistantly placed the egg down in the pond, watching it for any signs of activity.

It took a few minutes, but the egg started shaking slightly and then faster. With a final twitch, a bright white light, and a loud crack, a small seahorse-like pokemon was exposed and swimming around in the water with happy sounds. An Aquany was born.

Aqua seemed shocked that the pokemon had hatched into an Aquany. It wasn't like they were uncommon or anything, but she just didn't expect it. The seahorse pokemon nudged her hand and aqua splashed some water on it for fun. "Aren't you a cutie. I'll call you Excalibur. A strong name for one that will surely be a strong water type, right?" Aqua smiled as Lancelot swam in small circles before aqua returned all her pokemon to their balls aside from Shiva and Manaphy who again walked beside her, Manaphy on Shiva's back. Now they just had to go find Kimiko.
