Sunday Battle

Umbreon was inable to forsee this incoming attack, and therefore had no time to dodge. "I see your little pokemon's game. It was trying to get umbreon to attack so it would gather enough damage value to increase it's attack. Nice strategy," Senetra said, watching her umbreon get blasted by the beam. The umbreon flew backwards to Senetra, though it seemed very weak. It was about to toss in the towel, but it stood up, prepared to fight more. "Alright umbreon, use pursuit!" Senetra watched the umbreon go in for the attack, also keeping an eye on teh stranger, who wrote down almost exactly every word Senetra had said.

The umbreon was hit by the seed bomb, and fell down. It couldn't take anymore damage unless it was going to die, and Sentra recalled it to it's pokeball. "Nice job, I didn't expect that you would be this good." She withdrew a second pokeball, tossing it into the air. "Come out to play Houndour." The pokeball released a houndoor, and it was prepared for battle.

Houndour, Male, Lvl 18

"We're playing this game again? Very well..." She thought her strategy through, apparently not knowing that Damon would try this tactic again. "Houndour, use leer!" The houndour did as commanded, and used leer to lower seedot's defence.

"I come from Pallet Town... How about you?" Senetra saw straight through Damon's attempt, and tried to do the same thing. She watched Seedot carefully, thinking her next move. "Houndour, use bite!" Houndour did exactly as told.

Senetra watched Houndour be attacked, and it flew to her feet again. It seemed as though it was fine, as it stood up again. "I can't risk you doing that again... Houndour, use roar," Senetra commanded, pointing immediately at the seedot.

Senetra saw the Sableye begin glowing and immediatly commanded at houndour for him to dodge. The houndour heard it's trainer's command, but, unfortunately, did not have enough time to dodge. It was hit by the brick break, and stumbled backwards, unlike before when it was thrown. The houndour was furious, but it knew it should not attack unless told to. Senetra looked at her houndour, and saw how it was feeling. She thought her next attack through, but did not wish to take too long, as then there would be another oppurtunity for her opponent to attack. She thought for just another second, then looked at houndour.

"Houndour, use bite," she called, watching the houndour start rushing at the sableeye. It was determined to land a good, powerful bite on it's foe.

Houndour continued to rush at Sableye, and vice versa. Senetra knew that this attack would probably weaken her poor pokemon and send it out of battle, but she also knew there was a small chance that the houndour would be able to continue in the battle for a short while before fainting. She knew this risk, and decided to back out. "Houndour, stop your attack and dodge," she commanded, and watched as the houndour jumped out of the way of the attack. She wasn't about to let her pokemon get hit by the other and risk losing the battle.

No matter how much the houndour wanted to dodge, it was not able to dodge this attack. It was impossible. The houndour was hit by the attack, and weakened to the point that it fell down on it's back. "Houndour, you did your best." Senetra took the pokeball and called back her houndour, saying, "That was a nice counter-attack strategy. You're a good strategist." She placed the pokeball into her pocket, and withdrew another. "But let's see how you fare against this one." She threw the pokeball into the air. "Come out deino and play," she said, watching as the pokeball released a deino.

Deino, Male, Lvl 19

Damon was surprised over Senetra's third pokemon. He had never seen such pokemon with blue skin and black fur covering its head and neck which concealed everything but its mouth from view. Damon pulled out his pokedex and pointed it towards the girl's new pokemon, it said the following 'Deino, the Irate Pokemon. They cannot see, so they tackle and bite to learn about their surroundings. Their bodies are covered in wounds.' As it was in middle of battle Damon decided to put his pokedex away even though he wanted to study more about Deinos and their weaknesses. It seemed rather tough but Damon was sure he could use Deino's blindness to his advantage. "Taunt," spoke Damon a single word. Sableye instantly smirked and started taunting the pokemon, "Sable, Sableye . . ."

The deino, blind to its surroundings, wasn't able to see, but hear what the opponent pokemon was doing. Senetra knew that she was only able to have her deino use attack moves, so she decided she would use the most common. "Deino, use bite on your foe," she said, pointing to the sableye, and she watched as the deino did as told, rushing toward the opponent.

The deino was hit in the side, but was able to dodge the attack to it's head. Slightly weaker because of the side-swipe, the deino wasn't able to attack. It had to take a moment to catch it's breath, so even if Senetra told it to do something, it possibly couldn't.

The deino, even though it was damaged, jumped out of the way of the attack. It wasn't about to be weakened more when it was recovering. Senetra looked at the sableye, and knowing that her chances may be good, she commanded her deino to bite the pokemon. And of course, the deino did as told.

The deino was in no position to dodge this attack, as teh sableye was fast. All it could do was take the damage and hope it wouldn't collapse from pain or exhaustion of battle, so it tried it's hardest to endure the damage incoming. However, it was very weak after this attack, and the deino decided that instead of trying to attack, it would rest and try to regain lost strength.

The deino somehow managed to dodge the Sableye's attack, determined not to be knocked out by this trainer. It jumped back to Senetra, and it continued to rest.
