Act One

Auralie had grown tired of the Hoenn region and decided it was time to move on to better things. She stepped off the boat and smiled as she seen the lovely Fuchsia City. Murkrow was apparently very excited as she fluttered around her head. "Hey can you sit still you are making me dizzy." She lightly chided her pokemon. The dark feathered pokemon landed lightly on her shoulder. Auralie had no idea where to go now and was a bit anxious to battle something or someone.

As she walked out of Fuchsia City leaving the lovely place behind her she entered the route exiting on the east side of the city. 'This is a whole new adventure.' She mused to herself. She was going to travel and get Gym Badges and Contest Ribbons for her grandfather. As she walked she entered some taller grass with shrubbery around it. As she came close to the bushes she noticed on of them begin to shake and stir.

Suddenly, a Wild Poochyena appeared! It snarled at Auralie to go away.

[Poochyena, Lvl 12, Male]

Auralie smirked at the Poochyena as it sprang from the bushes. 'Well I suppose it will be training.' She mused and almost laughed. She thrust her hand into her pocket and pulled out Gible's pokeball. "Gible your up. Leys give this pokemon a show." She called as Gible burst forth from the pokeball. She smiled as she looked at the pokemon because this would be her first opponent in the Kanto region. "Alright Gible now lets start things off with Sand Storm." She called as Gible nodded. Gible summoned forth a powerful sandstorm and she watched as everything started to go fuzzy. Now the Poochyena would have its turn.

Poochyena got trapped in Sandstorm, and took damage from it. Then he retaliated with a bite attack on Gible.

Auralie looked at the Poochyena as it readied a Bite attack. "Now counter it with Sand Attack," she commanded her Gible. Gible immediately started to stir up sand as the Poochyena came down to deliver the attack. As the Poochyena neared Gible she threw sand toward the offending pokemon. The Poochyena would have to be fast to dodge this.

Poochyena got hit with Sand Attack, and missed, with it's accuracy weakened. Then he got hit with the sand tomb effect, and tried to retaliate with Tackle against gible.

Auralie watched Gible land her attack and smirked. Only then did she realize that the Poochyena had started another attack. Unfortunately she could not call a command in time as the Poochyena used tackle on Gible. Her pokemon skidded across the ground and shakily rose to her feet. "Ah Gible are you ok? Alright now finish this up with Dragon Claw." She ordered to her pokemon. Gible jumped toward the dark-type pokemon and attempted to strike it with ferocious claws.

Dragon Claw landed a hit on Poochyena, making it very weak. Then it used howl to boost it's attack. (Or Defense, or whatever)

Auralie grimaced when she seen that the Poochyena was still standing. This little thing was tough but no matter she was going to break his precious will for good. She heard the pokemon use Howl to boost its' attack, and smiled because it was pointless. "Now we're done here, use Body Slam," she ordered fluently to Gible. Auralie watched as Gible leapt into the air to come down with a powerful attack.

The Poochyena was smart this time. He jumped out of the way of Body slam, and Countered with a Bite attack.

Auralie grimaced as the pokemon dodged the attack and countered with one of its own. That was not good for Gible because there was no way that she could get out in time. She could only watch as the Bite hit its target and Gible cried out. Auralie needed to end this quickly, "Now Gible while you are in close range lets finish this with a Dragon Rage!" Gible nodded that she understood and prepared the attack. A bluish light started to emanate from Gible's mouth and she shot a powerful blast at the Poochyena.

The Blast hit Poochyena with full force. As soon as the light disappeared, Poochyena was revealed, Fainted.

[Gible has earned 14 Exp!]

Auralie grinned as she watched the Dragon Rage hit it's mark. This was wonderful, her first victory in the Kanto region. She smiled at Gible, who was glowing with pride and achievement at her victory. "Great job darling, come on back now ok," she said with enthusiasm as she drew her pokeball. She observed as a red light enveloped Gible and she returned to her pokeball.

Auralie had decided to continue along this route to see if she could find any new pokemon to capture. As she walked for what seemed like forever she came upon a rather wooded area that seemed full of many pokemon judging by the many cries she heard. She walked ahead and came upon a large clearing that had many large leafed bushes throughout. Only then did Auralie notice that two of the bushes were shaking as if a horrid wind was blowing. She then seen the bushes rattle more at her presence and heard loud cries from within them.

Out of the bushes came none other than an Elekid. It looked at Auralie happily and did a little wave at her.

[Elekid, Lvl 15, Male]

This must have been her lucky day, two training sessions in one day this would be fun. She thought about who she would use for a second and then pulled out her pokeball. She threw the pokeball in the air and shouted, "Now Roselia take the stage." She smiled as she watched the grass-poison pokemon burst forth in a flurry of petals. Roselia landed lightly on the ground and stared down her opponent. "Alright lets start this off with Spikes," she commanded and watched as Roselia jumped into the air and sprayed thorn-like spikes around the field. She then waited to see if the Elekid would fall for her trap.

Elekid foolishly stepped on a spike and hurt itself, lucky to not be poisoned. It charged in with a Thunderbolt attack. (At least I think it knows thunderbolt at that level)

Auralie grimaced and moved her hair out of her face. She watched as the Thunder Bolt attack hit Roselia and knocked her across the field. This was not good, she had to find a way to turn this around. Then an idea struck Auralie, "Now Auralie, use Leech Seed." Roselia bounced up and rushed toward Elekid hoping to take it by surprise.

The seeds got stuck in Elekid's plug head, and attached, rendering Roselia's attack successful. Then he launched a thunder wave attack on the opponent Pokemon.

Auralie grinned as she watch her last attack successful but that was short lived. She seen the Elekid charge a Thunder Wave to hit Roselia with. "Now Roselia use Sludge Bomb and try to throw it of course," she yelled to her pokemon as she watched Roselia shoot purple blobs of poison toward Elekid in hopes of throwing the attack off.

Elekid got hit, and was poisoned. It damaged it, and then attempted a Low Kick on Roselia.

As the she seen the attack coming she knew there was nothing that she could do but she had a trick she could use. The attack hit Roselia and she took sufficient damage from it, "Now Roselia while it's close lets finish this and use Mega Drain." Roselia nodded and green tendrils shot out toward Elekid to drain its' energy. If this move hit then the other pokemon would surely be down for the count.

Elekid's energy was drained, and ultimately fainted.

[Roselia has gained 15 EXP]

Auralie decided at that moment that it was time to go and she returned Roselia to her pokeball. She continued up the path with her next stop being Lavender Town. She was hoping there that she could catch a ghost pokemon.
