| Any of you get the feeling they are parallel? Bulbapedia (Zoroark's Trivia) :"Due to its debut before Generation V in Zoroark: Master of Illusions, it can be seen as a parallel to Lucario, which debuted in Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, prior to the release of Generation IV. Unlike Lucario, however, Zoroark was revealed at the same time as its pre-evolved form.
Coincidentally, they both share the same names in Japanese and English versions of the game, are in the Ground egg group and need 1,059,860 Exp. to reach level 100. "They both gained Central roles in movies that were debutted before their official generation's release despite none of them being legendaries. They both have same gender ratio; 87.5% male, 12.5% female Lucario is supossedly based off Anubis, the Egyptian god of funerals, who has a had of a jackal. Zoroark seems to be based off a werewolf. Lucario seemingly resembles a force of justice, when Zoroark looks like he is pure evil. |

| No I don't, as Zorua is not a baby Pokemon, and can therefore breed, whereas Riolu cannot. |

| Distant relatives maybe? or related from ancestors like their ancestors were brothers and went further and further away, Lucario to egypt where he was god of funerals, Zoroark out to australia where he was a werewolf? :P |

| I've always seen them as a pair somehow... Dunno, they just seemed so similar. |

| Yeah, they are similar in some aspects listed above, but like Leki said, there are some big differences, including what she said above
Anyway, i don't quite consider them a pair. In my opninion, a Pair is like Magortar and Electivire. |

| Yeah theyre parallel but I think 'related' is a stretch. Also not that Zoroark is an event Pokemon obtainable and Lucario is not obtainable in the wild and isnt an event Pokemon.
Also, speaking of Electivire and Magmortar, that should be a trio with the Jynx evo, but Jinx is apparently racist to African Americans, so they didnt make one. That wouldve bought the count to 650.... Bloody racist consicious people |

| Jynx is the counterpart to Mr. Mime...not a trio with electabuzz and magmar... |

| You should :3 I'll make apps for it right away. My suggestions are Master Mime and a somewhat slim jynx evo, they evolve from stupid stuff to awesomeness, great idea? |

| Im not sure about the Jinx/Mr Mime thing as Mime Jr was introduced alongside Bonsly in Gen Iv, and Smoochum wa released alongside Magby and Elekid, and also takes up the final type for the birds. Although a Mr Mime evo wouod be good also. |

| Smoochum was also released with Pichu, Igglybuff, Cleffa, and Tyrogue...and Jynx is part Psychic~Mr. Mime is Psychic. Mr Mime resembles a human male, Jynx resembles a human female~ |

| i see it. if you look at the trivia, it all fits, though zorua isn't a baby pokemon and zorua evolves when leveled up, while riolu evolves with happiness |
