Blaine's Challenge (Mod Req)

Blaine walked all the way from Pallet town to Virdian city, from there he met his long lost brother, and a strange child who ran home in an emergency call.
His brother was gone before he could greet him. He then head towards Pewter city to continue his goal to defeat the champion
"Baka ne kodoma..." (Stupid kid)
Blaine muttered and opened the gym door
"Koko de Brock wa nanidesu ka?" (Where is brock?)

A Geodude floats closer to Blaine.

"Geo, geodude, geodude, geo, geo. (Are you a trainer looking for Brock? He's just taking a jog outside. You can wait for him if you want.)" said Brock's Geodude.

"I'll wait.."
Blaine said, in a rather suspicious way, as he went and sat on a chair

(Oh not you! xP)

(I'll RP as Brock- the Geodude FLOATED? It's a freaking rock!)
The doors slid open and Brock, sweaty and breathing heavily, returned came through them in running shorts and shoes and a tank top.
"A trainer," he acknowledged, seeing Blaine.
"I'll be right with you." He headed off through a side door and returned minutes later looking fresh and in his usual clothes.
"Okay, Geodude," he called to Geodude who hadn't moved, "you're up first." Geodude rolled into position, facing Blaine.

"Combusken, your starting"
Blaine old his combusken who was inside the pokeball, he then threw up the pokeball and out came combusken
"Ken!"

(did you ever watch the anime? :D)

(Not really, besides, since its types are Rock and Ground and it doesn't have the ability Levitate or anything of the sort, Geodude rolls. To me, at least.)
"Geodude, use Tackle!" called Brock, pointing at Combusken. "Geo!" growled Geodude, and he rolled straight for Combusken. At the last second he stuck his arms out in front of him and was launched straight at Combusken's face.

Combusken skid back creating sand between the geodude and combusken (minor sand attack, not using to decrease, rather an awesome form of dodging :P)

"Combusken, Double Kick!"
Blaine ordered

Combusken jumped up and did a forward roll in the air for show off, as she prepared to kick the geodude from top

(still, it levitates. :D)

(Okay, then how is it hit by Earthquake, (among other ground-type moves)?)
Since the move was super effective and Combusken was twice Geodude's level, Geodude almost fainted right there. Somehow it managed to roll back onto its butt.
"Hmm, Defense Curl obviously won't be much help here," said Brock, who knew that the battle was probably already lost. But Geodude wasn't going down without a fight, so Brock said, "Geodude, use Tackle again." Geodude rolled forward once again, but this time it didn't launch itself- it slammed into Combusken's legs.

(Well the games are really stupid) (And even in the games, look at Geodude floating)

You two stop that, geodude is a lame model, we can keep it anyway here

"Com!!"
Combusken groaned, it got hit and tripped over.
She got up with anger like nothing happened, though it was injured.

"Combusken, use Peck!"
Blaine called

"COmbusken!!!"
She growled and charged towards the geodude, to peck it from above

Peck did very little damage, Flying not being very effective against Rock. Geodude used Tackle again, without prompt from Brock. This time it launched itself at Combusken's midriff.

"Nows your chance, Combusken!"
Blaine grinned

"Com!"
The combusken grinned too.
She raised her feet to do Double Kick, when the geodude was just a meter away, she spun once with her feet directed to the geodude, and then again, quickly. (Double Kick)

The attack knocked Geodude flying, and it had fainted before it hit the ground. (Your Exp has been edited.) Brock sent out his second Pokémon, Onix. He courteously allowed Blaine to go first.

"Combusken, you can still fight?"
Blaine asked

"Ken!"
She nodded, with determination in her eyes

"Right, Use Focus Energy"
Blaine commanded

"Alright," said Brock, rubbing his chin, "use Harden."
Onix's body took on a rather grayer shade which faded soon as its defense was raised a bit.

"Combusken, Double Kick, Do it your way!"
Blaine called

"Com!"
Combusken ran towards the onix, then up a wall, then tried to jump on onix and use Double Kick!

The first hit of the Double Kick was a critical hit, dealing massive damage. The second hit without anything irregular happening. Brock seemed to have a 'The best offense is a good defense' mindset.
"Onix, Harden again!" Again, Onix's body took on a rather grayer shade which faded soon as its defense was raised a bit.

"Boy aren't ya stubborn"
He rubbed his nose, giving a grin.
"You keep on with that, and watch as your stupidity results your defeat"
Blaine observed the rocky surrounding.
"Combusken, Ember!"
Combusken fired his flames all over the place, the fire didn't catch on, but heatedup the place intensely, the rocks now glowed a slight red, supossedly disabling the use of dig, and weakening rock moves against fire types. Using their own home as an advantange..

"Hmm... Mud Sport," said Brock to Onix, pointing at Combusken. Onix shot a great wad of dark, thick mud at Combusken.

"Tsk-tsk. Bahahahaha!"
Blaine laughed.
"You sure are a dumb gym leader."
He watched, as combusken had used the time Onix used Mud Sport to take out the heat, to appear behind Onix with it's speed. Combusken used Double Kick!

The first kick brought Onix down. The second one knocked him out. Combusken leveled up to 23!
"NO!" shouted Brock, but then he contained himself and returned Onix.
"Alright, kid, you've beaten me. Here's the Boulder Badge and here's $1,400 prize money. And now I'm gonna punch you."

(Just kidding :D)
"Also, I'd like you to have this," said Brock, holding out a small disc, "This TM is Rock Tomb." He handed it to Blaine.
"Good luck, kid. You're gonna go far."

"You should think up new strategies to take down your weaknesses, just a tip"
He grinned and took the stuff he was given.
"Also, maybe you should learn to open your eyes when you are battling, I noticed you always have them closed"
He walked away, returning his Combusken.
