|~ Gen. Information ~|
Aliases / Names:
Name: Mival Nemetsk
Age: 26
Birthplace: Petalburg Forest,Hoenn
Gender: Male
Trainer Rank:
Expert Rock-type Pokemon Trainer

|~ Characterization ~|
Appearance:
Mival:
(But without the weapon)

Personality: The first thing you notice about Mival when talking to him is his absolute calmness at all times. He has a tight control on his emotions and always keeps them in check no matter the situation. He is very ambitious and strives to explore the world and its many mysteries. He is also very observant, always looking for the slightest twitch in a person that would instantly sway him away. Because of this he does not trust easily and has learnt from past experiences that trust has to be earned no matter who requests it. However if you do gain his trust Mival is very kind and selfless always looking to help his comrades whether they be pokemon or human. He is also extremely honest, rarely even considering lieing for the betterment of someone else. He usually doesn't flirt or even display any kind of romantic side however his upbringing meant he was distant from it. Again if you do gain his trust he will become more sympathetic when the time arises.

Flaws/weaknesses:

.Judgemental: Fails to delve deeper into other peoples personalities if he deems them untrustworthy
. Trust issues: It can be extremely difficult to gain his trust depending on his mood
. Only uses one type of pokemon: Prone to losing because of type disadvantages

Strengths:

. Honest: Well i guess theres nothing else to say XD
. Intelligent: Always analyses every situation

Mival's quirks:

. Prone to spacing out when bored
. Annoyed by fungi
. Fascinated with the forest

Mival's motivations:

. Wants to explore the world and see new places
. Wants to find his clan to prove himself and become the Grandmaster
. To be respected

Interests:

. Training his pokemon
. Seeing new places
. Archery

Battle Style:
Being an experienced trainer he has learnt to develop various strategies for varying opponents. These are branched into 3 different styles:

1: Ultimate beat down

This style focuses on the immense offensive power of his pokemon while also utilising their defensive capabilities through stat increasing moves such as swords dance and rock polish. What i mean by that is that Mival relies on his pokemon tanking blows while raising his pokemons stats. His main moves while using this are Rock Slide, Swords dance and Smack Down.

2: Defensive tanks

This style focuses on his pokemons defensive capabilities while also making sure his opponent doesn't switch out all of the time for fear of damage through the use of Stealth Rock. Mival generally uses this style to infuriate his opponent into making silly mistakes which would cost his opponent the battle.

3: Power sniper

Mival rarely uses this tactic because of how long it can take to bring about. This strategem generally focuses on raising his pokemons accuracy and then using the boosted accuracy to inflict heavy damage with powerful attacks like Rock Wrecker that would normally have a low accuracy percentage.

(Before i explain his history let me explain the customs in his clan. This will help in understanding why they did what they did)

The Nemetsk Clan

Formed over a 100 years ago with the first Grandmaster, Draiden Nemetsk, the Nemetsk clan focus on building the strength of their young through physical endurance and survival tactics training. From an early age of about 2-4 years old they are taught how to find food in the world including what berries are edible and what are not. Later on at around the age of 6-8 years old they are taught how to fight and how to navigate terrain. Finally at the age of 10 individual children are left in gloomy forests at random points during their time being 10 years old to fend for themselves until they meet with the clan again however most either fail to survive or never see the clan again as they are always on the move. If they do make it back to the clan they are forced to challenge the Grandmaster for his position. If they lose and the Grandmaster deems them unworthy then they are banished forever, however if they win then they themselves become the Grandmaster no matter how old they are.

Past Experience / History:

Mival wasn't your ordinary Nemetsk clan child. He was born into the Grandmasters family alongside his brother, Shigara. Shigara had always been kind to him however his father had been the opposite. Being the current Grandmaster, Mivals father had no tolerance for weakness and made sure his children were completely rid of it. His obsession caused him to make Shigara take part in the Test of Survival 2 years before his time. Shigara was found 2 months later dying of dehydration. From that point onwards Mival hated his father, doing whatever he could to make him suffer. His father felt remorse but failed to show it despite the pleas from his wife and child.

8 years later,

Mivals mother, Yako, helped him to prepare for his test by strapping a flask of water to his waist in addition to a compass to help him find his way. As Mival left Yako kissed him on the cheek before saying goodbye. He was then knocked out. When he awoke he was in Petalburg Forest. He had no idea where he was and so looked for shelter. After several hours of wandering around the gloomy wilderness he stumbled across a cave. Upon entering he dropped to the cold cave floor, drank a little bit of water from his flask then proceeded to go to sleep. However he was quickly shaked awake. When he opened his eyes he saw a small Aron and Larvitar staring at him. His eyes widened and he got up quickly. He then noticed the rest of them, an angry looking Boldore, an odd Graveler that was staring at him with an evil smile and the most fearsome of the latter, a bold and ferocious Rhydon that was clearly the leader of this group of pokemon given the essence of leadership that Mival noticed when he looked at it.

The Rhydon gestured to Mival and the other pokemon attacked him. He dodged and weaved, managing surprisingly to avoid all attacks. He then proceeded to fight throwing the Boldore against the wall while kicking the Aron and Larvitar away. The Graveler seemed to be a bit of a coward as it scuttled away trying to avoid the fight. Rhydon grunted with annoyance and charged at Mival while bringing his maginificent arms down upon the small boy. Mival grabbed them both, desperately trying to fight its immense force. The Rhydon roared at Mival but he stood his ground while looking intently into the Rhydons eyes. The large pokemon saw this surprising turn of bravery and loosened his force before backing off. It then bowed to Mival in a way that showed that it respected him. The other pokemon followed in turn. From that point on, Mival had gained new lifelong allies, no, new friends.

It turns out that the pokemon he had encountered were just like him, outcasts from their species. Through this common factor they quickly developed a bond that could never be broken. 16 years they trained, perfecting their fighting skill and honing their strength and strategy beyond expectations. Through those 16 years they have all evolved, achieving their full potential. Though Mival has no particular favourite he does get on considerably better with Rhyperior as they both see each other as brothers in a sense.

When Mival turned 24 he managed to find his way out of the forest with his friends where he was introduced to the concept of pokemon battling. After learning of this method of competition he set out to find his clan and defeat his father.

You'll need admin permission for a full team, replacing anyone or not. Be warned. Plus, all of those levels are excessive. Bring them down some notches. They shouldn't even be exceeding 25 altogether, and that's between two Pokemon.

As for the backstory, the fight is a fishy part. Sure, humans can outperform themselves by miles in a moment of life or death with adrenaline, but that fight's insane. Being able to shove an aggressive Boldore? Kicking an Aron would likely result in breaking toes before the Pokemon can even be moved, nevermind the other. This part needs a rethink. How is the clan even operating in the modern times given the law? Abandoning children in the forest to potentially die, or making them orphans is different to leaving on a journey. That needs some exploring and clarifying, too.

I'm not changing the levels although I will tone the fight down a bit. Also I will get rid of a couple of pokemon. Finally no one knows about the clan. As i said in the application they are always on the move.

Then I at least, on the basis of the levels and amount of Pokemon, will be denying the application. You'll have to see if you can negotiate with an admin for this to be passed.

I realise that having so many pokemon at such a high level is a bad thing. But would two or even one pokemon at that level be ok?

No one will be starting with such excessive levels, nish is right those levels are unjustified, id expect a much much larger history but even then you would be lucky to start with one, , id be more inclided if you had had a trainer that had trained pokemon to these levels and wanted to make a new one with different pokemkn but you havent, with admins being busy and another mod already stating the same, you can either abide by twenty five level ruke or request permission to have one or two starting pokemkn at level 30 max but the history would need to be fleshed out more to allow that,

Being the verdict of two mods, if you decline to edit, this app will be locked and moved to the denied section.

Sorry, sorry, had to toss my cents in (<3 you Aito and Nish o3o)

Topic Modification Bombardment:

Failure to make modifications as requested by 2 mods and 1 admin, as postd earlier, will result in application denial.

I will attempt to make the changes stated by Fenrisulfr. However I have a question. I have seen people starting with pokemon with really high levels. Were there histories up to scratch or did they get admin permission?

As far as I'm aware, nobody's been allowed to start with pokemon whose levels sum more than 25 (maximum 2 pokemon) because the regulations were modified and hashed out further in trainer template updates. This limit is lightly lifted in a few instances, such as this one, but a large exemption like having 5 pokemon totaling 336 levels just hasn't been allowed.

Personally id say two at level 30 max but fen is offering three, not to sound creepy but i have been stalking and a lot of your trainers who have 30ish level seem to be solely from the adoption centre, i dont see many training threads or battling threads, so id be inclined to start you with one at 30 but three has been given permissio . But i would still say more depth in the history, their is still major year jumping that can be filled with crucial information.
