Appearance:

Welz is pretty tall compared to most of his age, standing 185 centimeters (6'') tall. Even though with his lean body build he is surprisingly fit thanks to different odd jobs he has done around the park. With an athletic build he weighs 78 kg (172 lb). Like many males his age, his hair is simply best described as messy, in Welz's case brunette, slightly spiky, and above medium length, sweeping down to his eyes. He keeps it trimmed at his neck though, as it bothers him quite a lot when the hair tingles his nape. Welz eyes are a dull cyan color. He has moderately tan with an even complexion, and though he normally has minor cuts and other marks, none of them ever seem to stick long. He is blessed with pretty much hairless body. He keeps himself clean of hair other that grows on top of his head.

Welz's clothing typically clashes between nerdish and rebellious teenager styles. Top wise he prefers dress shirt or polo, typically matching his beige sweater, under which the shirt always sticks out. On more formal cases he tops it with a dull red tie. Bottom wise, jeans are preferable, though normal pants work fine as well, so long as they're dark. Whatever belt he can find, though the one he currently owns and hasn't lost yet is black. During extremely hot weather he wears a simply t-shirt, preferably light color, and his dark brown shorts. Whenever it's little bit colder he wears his favorite jacket. Welz prefers tight clothes, but what are still easy to move in. For footwear he goes with stylish casual shoes. When walking through tougher terrain he switches to his hiking boots. He has both of his ears pierced but only wears earrings in left ear. He travels around with one-strap training bag where he keeps his essential stuff for traveling.

Personality:
Welz is an young man with a laid back attitude and an idealist outlook on life. He is a nice guy, getting along with most of anyone, he has an acute intuition about people; able to understand their thinking and state of mind pretty quickly. He likes to make a lot of friends but has a tendency to find a small group of them that he actively stays around. These friends and relationships are very important to him and around these people he becomes a different person, going from a calm, quiet person to being mischievous, energetic and slightly loud. Welz tends to take things slow and easy and doesn't really concern himself with the little things in life. He generally believes that if you can't do anything about it, then don't worry about it and do something else instead. Going along with his easy-going nature, Welz is the kind of guy who likes to go with the flow, adjusting himself to the situation. This usually causes him to get caught up in all kinds of shenanigans and mischief, mainly because he's enjoying himself too much to really object.

Despite the fact that not having academically the best results, he is smart and skillful to handle himself just fine with daily tasks, such as cooking, navigation, basic knowledge about wildlife, etc. To top it he is mechanically quite adapt, easily understanding how different things work and able to build, or improve them. Welz is quite confident; he tends to feel that he is equal with the people around him and if he works hard he can do anything. Having said that, he has no actual manners treating his elders or others in higher power. Yes, his helpful personality oftentimes masks it, but he would even treat a king just like a commoner. Another thing holding him back is that Welz has no dreams in mind. Having not set himself certain goals he has no idea what he wants to achieve, which actually sometimes make it hard for him to fall asleep. He is not interested in wealth, power nor some fancy titles.

Battle Style:
Welz hasn't got much experience in pokemon battles, and thus hasn't developed his own strategy. He understands that it is important to make the best out of his pokemon' strong points and mainly relies on his intuition.  

Past Experience / History:
The second oldest of four, Crozzo family had the above average living circumstances. The head of the family, being owner of Pokemon Theme Park, had a really good enviornment to bring up his family. The children of Crozzo family had healthy relation with each other... Well, as healthy as siblings could be. His older brother was four years older, while his younger sisters trailed behind her by one year. In the earlier years, Welz felt really close with his brother. At some point though, he started drifting away to live his life, and while he still lived at home and was generally being good, they sparsely talked or played together anymore. It was probably connected with the whole "growing up" nonsense, especially concerning the playtime part, and then the "discovered something more out there" that hits all teenagers, right? At that time, Welz hadn't really noticed the lessening until it already happened, since he started spending more time with his younger sisters, always doing odd jobs around the park whenever their parents or other workers asked them.

During his time growing up, he learned a lot from helping around the park. Welz became really good at getting along with all kinds of people, he gained a lot of experience working out difficult situations, and to manage whole variety of different machines and vehicles. His helpful personality made him really popular with his two younger sisters and other park workers. He wasn't very bright academically, as it was quite hard to find free time for studying living in a theme park. While at park, Welz would often find himself most intrigued when working with machines or taking care of pokemon. Not only did he find the idea of building and using machines extremely cool, but the field itself was intellectually stimulating for the boy. He also enjoyed the company of pokemon, always making him feel more natural when someone was with him.

Apart from his family, his best friend was a talking Meowth, raised up by a traveling circus. Welz managed to get such a prized pokemon sheerly through luck. Meowth was picked up by a clown from a traveling circus when she was just a kitten, by whom she was trained every day to take the position of a sidekick. She had to go through many hardships, most emotionally scarring of them being an abusive owner. Over time she started to get a hang on acrobatics and speech, but the first time she was put out to perform, at Pokemon Theme Park, she failed miserably. After the show when Welz and his parents went to find out from the clown what had gone wrong, they found him beating poor little Meowth. Imminently stepping in they got themselves a deal. Welz's parents bought the Meowth for quite a large sum because they saw the clown not being owner fit for such a pokemon. Young boy and Meowth hit off really well and over time they became inseparable.

Over the years work in Theme Park turned to be more and more routine like. Welz felt that he wanted to do something different with his life, at least for some years. He decided to follow in his older brother's footsteps who had became a pokemon trainer from the age of 12. On his 16th birthday Welz's announced his wishes to parents who were more than happy to help young boy to what he wanted. A week after he said goodbye to his family and set out on a journey to discover the wonderful world of pokemon.
