Hello, I'm new!

Hi! I'm not at all used to this place since I registered not even 5 minutes ago (at the time of this post), but I really enjoy rps and this place looks like a very fun one.

Help me around? These boards are jam packed with text. It really is a lot to take in.

Meh name is Matt, Fenrisulfr, Wolfie, or Kurai, whichever you wanna go by (I'd recommend calling me by the current username I'm under though o3o), and I'm an administrator. I hope that this post will give you a bit of guidance as per where you should go to make the best use of your time on the forum.

I highly recommend you read the Rules and Regulations of the forum (hyperlinked). There are various topics you will need to be familiar with. After you've read the rules, you can head over to the Trainer Creation section, where all trainers are made with the Trainer Template (2.0). Later on in your adventures you'll be able to make NPCs and SCs (max 2) for your character with another template, but we'll discuss that later.

All good trainers have to have their items and such, so when your application is approved (or a suggestion made on it, which I'd highly recommend you follow when revising), you can head over to the Marketplace to purchase some items for your trainer with the trainer's cash (pokedollars). As you post, you'll rake in some player points, but with NPCs and such, that'll be discussed later when you want to know. You can also adopt a pokemon from the Adoption Center after your trainer is complete, giving you a neat little boost to your team for your adventure. Should you want to trade with another user you could, but since you're new, that can be talked about later too.

You can check the PokeEvents section for recent events that are going on (there isn't any at this time), and you can keep up-to-date on forum news by checking out the News and Announcements board of the forum. Should you have any suggestions for the forum or questions, you can visit the Suggestions and Ideas and Questions forum respectively. It's recommended that if you have a question, you look through older topics to ensure it isn't already answered elsewhere.

Oh, and should your adventure, after it starts, become inactive, you can use the Moderate Me section to post a topic. You can also post there if at least 48 hours has passed since you posted your trainer and it hasn't been checked yet... That should just about cover new things.
