Sasaki´s first few steps

FIRST POST:

Finally Sasaki stepped from the boat, which brought her back into Kanto; she had to get her Pokemon from Sea. Of course she was furious about the pokemon, her father knew, what she wanted, but now she has a Ghost instead. Well, at least it was breeded and taught well through her brothers and she came to like it as well. She opened the Pokeball and out came her Gastly... her very first Pokemon. With a joyful reddish face she tried to hug it, but halfly phased through and fell down on her knees. Her Gastly looked down on her and seemed to laugh, not the laugh having fun on her cost, but having fun as well, joyfull and thirst of adventure.

Sasaki stood up and grabbed a small map of the outskirts. As she had to learn so much, she - of course - prepared for the first trip. "Okay, Gastly. Vermillion City... " she said and pointed at the map. "I didn´t choose this place on random... we have two ways out and on both roads there are vibrant colonies of Poison Pokemon.... to the north we have big spots of grass, which is the home of many Pokemon, especially Oddish and Bellsprout." With one Finger she trailed the street north, a nice area she could explore for weeks. "To the East we have more of a forrest though, where Ekans should live. Continuing to the Silence Bridge, where Tentacool´s should live." Her finger trailed the other way, although the bridge is not on the map. "So... where should we go first?"

Gastly looks at the map too. She is touched, that she is asked for opinion, but she clearly doesn´t care. "Gaaastly." She said, hovering over Sasaki´s head. "Gha...." slowly her fog-like arm pushed towards east. So both, after purchasing a snack for the two of them, wander East, through route 11 on a search for Tentacool or Ekans

The cold of winter did hit Sasaki hard, she came from the southern sea and the cold air was not getting through her sweater. When it was no longer durable, she took her mantle from the backpack and put it on, whole Gastly helped her with her scarf. Now, feeling warmer, she looked into the water. A big school of Tentacool, how droll. She kneeled next to the water and looked at the group. "Even though they are poisonous, they are playing with other water pokemon... or at least live in the same enviroment. Maybe they just use the poison for self-defense?" As she was told never to talk to creepy strangers, she is ignoring the gambler, giving not more then one careful look. Then she looked at Gastly and smiled. Her Pokemon had eaten half of his snack, a weird poke-bar and was holding the rest of it. The Ghost Pokemon looked at her Trainer, then at the bar and sighed. They were together for so little time and can already read each other´s mind.

Still levitating, Gastly hovered over the water, trailing with the Poke-Bar through the water. Sasaki grabbed a pokeball and kept it in the hand. "Cute Tentacool, tasty food for you. Come and get it." She called upon the school of Tentacool, hoping for one brave enough to get closer. On the other hand, if the whole school would come closer, she could retreat Gastly fast that way.

So far all is working properly, although Gastly refuses to let got of the snack. He even turned around, bringing the treat back to Saichi, which jokingly scolded him. "You should share to your brothers and sisters." She told him off, but still patted on his head before taking the bar from his hands. "You will get a new one anyway as soon as we get back to town" She said, whole breaking it in 4 parts, leaving 3 of them in the sand. The last one she is holding in her open hand, but still a bit away from the rest. Waiting and with a big smile she waits, if they are brave enough to take it directly from her. "Be ready to catch one of them." She whispers as Gastly is sitting on her shoulder, careful that not one of them comes to close, as they might try to hurt her.

One really tried to challenge her. He even looks stronger then Gastly, but there is more then just experience and strength. She threw the rest of the Snack back towards those two who were going away already, they deserved it more. On the same time Gastly darted to the front in the same moment, reacting directly to Sasaki´s voice: "First Evil Eye, so he won´t run away, then Lick him." she shouts. Gastly´s eyes widen and getting a yellow tint for a second, showing his Evil Eye towards the Tentacool, before his Tongue darted out, trying to Lick the Jellyfish.

Sasaki threw herself down in the first shock, as five Tentacools are shooting their poisonous darts at Gastly. The moment of Angst and panik vanished soon. "Calm down, calm down...the stings don´t do much damage anyway, and you are immune against the poison anyway, Gastly." she shouted out, more to calm herself down then her pokemon. Still, she aknowledges, that the pure spikes will weaken him, if they continue to hit. "Take out the leader and the other will run away. If they won´t, we will run off... or maybe catch a second one..." Gastly shuttered under the poisonous darts, but tries again to Lick the leader with his long tongue.

Sasaki noticed too, that the damage Gastly put out was not enough at all. But that was not what she counted for. The Shudder she saw was enough for her to notice. "We will do train a bit afterwards, but now... lets finish this. Use Venoshock!" she shouted out and prepared to throw the Pokeball, although she hoped, that it wouldn´t be too early or that she would miss. But Gastly nodded first and sprayed liquid poison not only at the leader, but into the whole groop, intending to spread it all over the group. As they are resistant to poison too, the damage is of course reduced, but damage towards all of them should make them think twice before staying with fruitless attacks.
