Through Shy Eyes (Open)

"Of course sweety, that's what we are here for". The nurse would scoot around the table so that she could see the Croagunk. A gentle smile upon her face as he simply stared at it. Pulling a berry from her pouch she would hand it to the frog like pokemon and return to her desk. "Nothing I can do for your pokemon sir, it's in beautiful condition" The nurse would say. As if on cue the brown headed boy behind the trainer would snigger. "You call that thing, that strange dumb looking pokemon beautiful. even for a blooming frog pokemon it's not even nice. It would seem the Nurse Joy's here have such terrible eyes for beauty" the voice would say. The nurse would become slightly angered at his words but as with all nurse joys they seem to be able to hold in much of this anger. "If you want to see a beautiful pokemon then look at this" he would say as he snapped his fingers.

Jumping from his shoulder to land next to the croagrunk was a pokemon not many from this region would ever see, It was blue in color but much lighter compared to the croagunk. It also looked much more energetic and slightly for lack of a better word cuter. "Froaaaaaakiee" it croaked out before sticking its tongue out to the other frog pokemon and its trainer. "your toads hideous mate, nothing on my froakie here so don't you go thinking otherwise" stated the cocky little brat.

Trainer appearance:

Mud sprayed the pokemon trainer and the blue frog who was instantly knocked unconcious, it seemed the pokemon trainer was all talk and his unique looking pokemon had not been trained at all. The nurse would have to stifle a laugh as she walked around to pick up the frog pokemon. She debated scolding the croagunk but the trainer had already left. The trainer of the Froakie panicked as he wiped mud from his face, not listening to the apologies of the croagunks trainer. Froakie was in the care of nurse joy now safe and sound. Naturally the boy would not witness this due to him leaving but the people around cheered for his Croagunk, shutting the vile trainer up.

But outside something else was happening, in one of the alleyways a cry would erupt, this cry would be of pain as the small blue mouse pokemon crawled upon its belly, covered in wounds. It seemed to also be suffering from the poison affliction caused by a poison based move. As the boy closed the gap the marill would shout havign seen him. Though the cry sounded more urgent, more like a warning. That's when the shadows began to move. From them charging up behind the wounded mouse was a group of skunk like pokemon known as Stunky. Three of them with rage in their eyes staring down at the marill. The largest one, the girl was much faster and had jumped in to the air, its claws glowing white as it aimed to deliver what could be the final blow. A scratch attack was coming and the marill could not avoid it.

The female Stunky had thought victory was hers, she could almost feel the flesh of the mouse pokemon upon her claws. But her movement was halted, and not gently may she add. The fist would connect as would the ones coming after, her body being pounded by strikes from the toad whom was much stronger than it looked. It would release a feral screech as the final strike pushed it backwards forcing it to skid across the ground, still concious but unable to properly move. It would screech out orders to the others whom had halted there advance. The first male would then release a powerful gas from its hind quarters, turning its bottom to face the others. The two screeches the female had released had secondary effects. As well as ordering the males, the move was actually an attack intending to lower the Croagunks defence. Now the poison gas would have filled the area, the stunky who were resistant would take the gamble, they were not to be trifled with. Ambushes were there game.

Marill, the weak marill whom had been saved would try to help, aiming its mouth towards the fog it would release the water gun attack, sadly its strength was waining and its water only managed to fill a small pot hole, small but large enough for say a certain water type pokemon to fit. Cursing itself in its native tongue the marill would begin to fade in and out of conciseness. The stunky would continue to charge and would try to release scratch attacks upon the Croagunk whom would hopefully be within the fog.

It happened so quickly, the pokemon ambushers had quickly found themselves in a tight pinch, even more so when the waves of sound connected. One of the stunkies in its confusion actually begun to slash at his own comrade. The confusion had taken hold instantly and soon the strikes of the Croagunk and Mantyke would finish this battle. The female stunky would retreat leaving her male comrades lying in a heap. The shy trainer who had no confidence in himself had not only defeated three pokemon so quickly but had been the reason that the little Marill was still alive. It was still unconscious and its breathing was getting shallower.

The nurse would simply nod, this man had just left the center not ten minutes ago and now he had returned with a wounded pokemon in hand. The nurse would grasp the Mouse pokemon and quickly cart it away in to the back room followed by two chansey. She would say nothing as she did this and when out of sight she would head to the operating room. Time would fly by and in two hours she would resurface, sweat covering her face as she returned. "Marill is going to be ok, its resting now but you can see it if you would like" she would say gently. if he agreed she would lead him to the room were the maril was resting, it was still hooked up to all the machines but it slept soundly. "So is this marill your pokemon" the nurse asked the boy
