My spriting

I'd sort of like to do a bit of spriting to see if I could be any good at it with practice. Requests, anyone?

Okay, what do you think? I didn't really like how the feet tilted when the rest of the body didn't but I decided to keep them anyway. For the cheek patches I used Mew's eye color. I also used Mew's eye for both eyes. They're rather creepier than I intended but they look nice.

Anyways, Phoenix I COMPLETELY forgot about the Gartwo, here it is:

Does anyone like this one? It's not as good... I recolored the tail and chest to more Garchompy colors, added the star on the head and gave the feet claws. The arm spikes don't look very good. Also, that left head thing took a lot more work than I thought it would, and thus came out badly. I do like the open mouth, however.

how about a darkrai mew

What do you think?
This one seriously took me like 40 minutes. First I was trying to put Darkrai features on a Mew body, but there were more colors on Mew than Darkrai, so it didn't work. The whole thing blended together and sucked. I tried that one three or four times then dumped it. That would have been cool, but my other option was comical: Mew colors on a Darkrai body. So I started this. The fingers, you'll notice, are Mew hands. Darkrai's right hand (our left) has fingers from the Mew sprite in Platinum. The rest is from HG/SS. The wispy things on the shoulders have been replaced with tails. I took off its head mist thing entirely. It now has a cute little eye. Its beard thing I turned blue, obviously. Mostly I used Mew's eye for it, but there weren't enough shades of blue so I used some of Darkrai's, too. The ears look just plain awful- I guess I kinda forgot they were there and didn't do anything to them. Overall, I think it's okay. The head looks kinda dopey and the hands suck a little, but it's not ridiculously horrible- I hope.

Anyways, I did this completely from scratch in MS Paint. I'm pretty proud of it, actually. I'm going to make a Pokemon application to go with it.

This one was done mostly in MS Paint, but I used the GM8 Sprite editor for most of the shading.
