A New Path (open)

"Yes! We're finally here!" Seo shouted out of joy upon arriving at the small town. She had ventured from the familiar environment of Ecriteak with the aid of her companion, Ziel, and were able to visit the Pokemon lab in New Bark Town to gain the necessary items for her brand new journey. "Right, now let's see... the lab should be... here!" She thought out loud walking through the town before stumbling onto the building, closely followed by her Absol. She walked up to the doors and slowly opened them, and entered the building. She picked up her new pokedex and thanked him before she headed out to door.
She lingered around the border of the town, admiring her new items and trying to figure out the bright yellow pokedex. She quivered from excitement at the thought of all pokemon she could meet from now on. A nearby bush rustled, catching the attention of both Seo and Ziel. As Ziel let out a low growl at the bush, Seo immediately got up to check...

a rattata then ran off

Seo watched it run off instead of following and looked through her bag making sure that nothing was taken since rattata were know to seal objects from unsuspecting trainers. After she made sure nothing was missing she slung the bag over her shoulder and wandered off to see if she could find another pokemon. If she intended on taking on the gym challenge, she would need more than one pokemon to help her out. This time she had a pokeball at the ready.

there's a rustling nearby but you can't see anything but a pair of bright blue eyes staring at you

Seo's eyes locked with the eyes of whatever had appeared. Beside her Ziel readied himself for whatever might happen, waiting for it to wander into the open on it's own will.

Out walks a cat-like creature it's fur blending in with it's surroundings because it is using Camouflage

((Darcany, custom pokemon))

"Wow! I've never gotten to see this pokemon before!" She thought to herself, staring in wonder at the pokemon. "Ok, Ziel! Let's see if we can convince this Darcany to join us." She looked over to her partner. Ziel nodded and braced itself for battle. "Let's start off with a leer." Seo stated. Ziel gave an intimidating glare at the Darcany.

Darcany's Camouflage fails revealing it's true fur color, silky black with blue rings on it's tail, ankles and around it's neck. It starts using Fake Tears

Absol grew flustered at the Darcany's response. "Ziel, use scratch!" Seo told him. The absol grew closer and raised it's paw to scratch it's foe.

Darcany moves swiftly to the side and uses Dark Pulse

Zeil was hit but due to him being a dark pokemon the move was not very effective. "Try scratching it again." Zeil charged towards Darcany again and attacks with it's glowing white claws.

Darcany uses CopyCat copying Scratch blocking his Scatch attack

"Shadow ball before it has time to dodge." Seo commanded right at the impact of the two attacks. Ziel formed a dark sphere and hurled it at Darcany.

Darcany is hit and slide back. It leeps forward trying to use Crunch

"Try and jump over it and when it's directly under you use scratch." Seo instructed. Ziel leaped up and slashed its paw below him.

Darcany had heard what she said and stops before it could go under Absol so Scratch didn't hit. It sits and looks at Absol using Charm

Ziel at first ignored it's opponent, more focused on getting his paw out of the earth from his last attack. Then turns it's head towards the cute Darcany. " Give it an intimidating leer " Seo commanded trying to find a way they could gain leverage over the Darcany.

Darcany uses Disable

"Shadow ball!" Seo ordered.

Darcany is hit and starts crying (Fake Tears)

"They're not real tears try not to be fooled and used scratch against it." Seo told Ziel. But Ziel couldn't help but hesitate for a second before obeying.

That secons gave Darcany enough time to move and use Camouflage

"Stay alert Ziel. It could be anywhere."Seo warned looking around for any possible movement. Ziel stood still and listened and watched intently on his surroundings."Ready an attack ." Ziel focused energy into preparing a shadow ball.

Darcany appears beside Absol and licks his check before disappearing again

Ziel blushed a bit, but regained focus and started scanning for Dracany again.
