If looks could kill, the Striaton Gym would've been melted at the moment. Yukime stood, a good 10 feet from the Gym with her eyes fixed directly on the door in an ungodly stare. Her hand rested lightly on her partner Pokemon, Ivore, while her other hand was carrying a sparkling egg that she had been recently gifted with on her way to the Gym.

Why she didn't go in? That's a really good question that she didn't have the answer to. Apprehension? Her? No way. No chance. Maybe a bit. She knew she wanted to challenge the Unova Elite Four, but she wasn't entirely sure if she were ready yet. Yukime sighed heavily. "This isn't me, this fear of the unknown. No more wasting time." Reaching into her sack from the back, she reached around in the woolen bag before finally pulling out a small blue candy, wrapped up neatly. She pulled the wrapper off of the candy and set it in front of the Piloswine who quickly consumed it after sniffing it suspiciously.

Yukime backed up slowly, watching as her Pokemon was engulfed in a blinding white light. She watched as her long time partner morphed into a much larger shape before finally being freed from the light. Yukime smiled lightly when she got her first full glimpse of her new Mamoswine. "I can now be at ease." She recalled Ivore into his Pokeball before walking into the Striaton Gym to demand a battle.

As Yukimo fed a rare candy to the already intimidating Piloswine and watched it evolve into the more scary Mamoswine, a slender green haired individual observed from a little far away. It was Cilan, one of the three gym leaders of the Striaton gym. He was on his way to his butler cafe where the gym was based. "Mamoswine.. I see.. It's weak against Fire.." He mumbled to himself all the while knowing that this trainer was well prepped and Chili would have to try very hard with his gym Pokemon to put on a display.

Just as the aspiring trainer entered the cafe gym, Cilan followed and invited her to join him down the hall where a closed red curtain was placed. The green haired individual would go behind the curtain from where whispering sounds could be heard. After an abrupt pause, the curtain lifted itself revealing the three gym leaders of Striaton and behind them an area where a battle may be held. Cilan the grass type specialist, Chili the fire type specialist and Cress the water type specialist stood on a platform, posing. The three would briefly introduce themselves as the users of their types. Chili introduced himself after the other two and called out to the trainer.

"I shall be your opponent today. Follow me." He stated enthusiastically before prodding away to the far end of the battleground expecting the challenger to station herself in the side closer to the curtain. The other two gym leaders would disperse and proceed to serve in the cafe as butlers.

Without much delay, Chili threw a Pokeball and out came a Lillipup. The dog pokemon would bark at the challenger as the leader invited the challenger to make the first move.
