Back Here for a Simple Reason

Zekrom landed and Jeff climbed down, he returned Zekrom to his pokeball and walked around town "I remember being here and getting help from Gardenia to get two of my pokemon to listen to me" Jeff said "now lets hope to find the burglar"

(No thanks Shadow, you look like you have enough stuff on your hands, I have Kare to do this for me, mthanks anyways ^.^)

The bustling city seemed to show no clue as to who had wronged Jeff's new Genesect companion. Though, that was to be expected, it had been years since the head was removed. Without any lead, Jeff would be free to explore the sights and sounds of the city, maybe something will give a clue, no matter how doubtful that may be.

Jeff looked around, he had no idea how he was going to find them, and he did not to let Genesect back out to give him a little more time getting even more use to his head "hm... how exactly am I going to do this" he questioned himself

As Jeff was standing and thinking, a small girl, perhaps 13, absentmindedly ran straight into him. "Oh, I'm so sorry!" she suddenly blurted out, putting a hand on Jeff's shoulder as tears started streaming out her eyes. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I should've seen where I was going!" Looking Jeff over to see if he was all right, she sniffed and wiped the tears from her eyes. "It won't happen again, I promise!" The girl seemed bubbly, and a little annoyingly so. She was blowing things out of proportion against herself, and overreacting. "I didn't hurt you, did I?" she sniffed and wiped another tear.

Jeff blinked once, twice, then again to finally come to realization "Yeah, I'm fine" he said, then went back to thinking forgetting everything that just happened, he barely noticed the other person. "Maybe I should... no no... that's stupid..." he mumbled

"What should you maybe do?" the girl asked enthusiastically, not seeming timid about making Jeff's business her own. "Should you not go and rob a bank? Or-or fight a Pokemon with your bare hands? Oooh! I bet you don't want to go skydiving! Eternia is a weird place to go skydiving though, why do you not want to anyway, mister?"

Jeff looked at her "its nothing" he says and walks around her then walks through the city even more 'where could these people be' he thought 'maybe robbing something from a lab... maybe... just maybe...'

Giving up, the girl just shrugged, and skipped away, leaving Jeff be. The bustling city gave not much away to the young trainer, as if the crime was all but forgotten to the population. It wasn't forgotten by the vengeful Genesect, though. It was Jeff's decision as to where to go next.

Jeff stoodm there to think, "hm... I'm at a dead end here... maybe... just maybe... has it been long enough for them to perhaps to a newmregion, maybe even it has been long enough they are long gone" he kept thinking and thinking "Why exactly would they need a genesect head anyways?" He looked up at city and decided to sit around and rest. Jeff walks over to a tree with good shade and sat under it it was nice out on this sunny day, and maybe, just relax

Jeff's relaxation didn't last long. The tree he was in suddenly violently rocked and shocked as two Fearow suddenly launched out of in in a furious and violent fight. Both birds were screeching loudly as the pecked and clawed the other, falling then flying back up right next to Jeff. They seemed to be disputing about territory.

Jeff looked at both of them and sighed, he stood up and walked away so he isn't part of the mess. Jeff decided to look around town and thought for a second, it would be useless to fight the gyms, it would be boring doing nothing everyday, he had to think of something, maybe... maybe something can interest him for his adventure but what? "I still have to look for this burglar, but, there are some problems... heh, I guess I could ask around" he walks up to someone other than that girl "hey, um, could you perhaps suggest something I can do on my adventure?"

"Well," the man said, a little bemused with Jeff's sudden approach and question, "you could, er, come back around here at night. A bunch of hooligans like to think they own the streets at night. If I could teach them a lesson I would, but I don't have any Pokemon myself and I'm much too old. You'd see them for yourself at night if you wanted too," he looked at how young Jeff was, "but that's probably not smart for a kid like you."

Jeff shrugged "eh, i'll be alright" he said "thanks mister" he said than walked away, he decided rest against a different tree and watched into the city, itll give him something to do

"Why are you so picky about adventure?" a childish voice echoed through Jeff's head, as if a mysterious entity were using telepathy. "It seems to me like maybe you don't want one," the voice creepily giggled, "so I'm going to give you one,"

Jeff stood up insantly when he heard the voice and looked around, he didn't like what was probably going to happen "I'm not being picky, I just have no idea!" He said

"Well that's no fun," the voice mused, "good thing I'm here to make up your mind." The giggling continued, but this time it sounded as if dozens of children were doing so at the same time in overlapping tones. "If you want to be rid of me," the ghostly echo began singing, "You must find some objects three," The laughter continued, "If you don't heed to my quest, I'll be here 'till your final rest." The sing-song tone of the voice disappeared, and the mocking returned. "What'll it be Jeff?"

Jeff stood there to think about 'if i were to help this thing, I probably will cause something bad, plus, it would be interesting to have a voice in my head to be yelling at me and telling me what to do?.' He thought, "your staying in my head" he smirked

"Suit yourself~" The voice said, before humming a very catchy tune over and over in Jeff's head. Since he hadn't acted on the strange voice's whim, it was up to him on where to go next.

Jeff kept sitting against the tree, he was going to get these criminals, so he waited, and waited, until night fell upon them.

As the landscape grew darker and streetlights slowly flickered alight, the wrong sort of crowd started to populate the streets. All wore orange bandanas on various spots in their outfits, and all didn't seem to care for whatever laws their actions broke. A pair of hooligans close to Jeff, they hadn't noticed him, began attempting to set a tree alight with a lighter, for no reason but a whim. Both were laughing hysterically as if the damage and potential spreading of the fire was funny.

Jeff noticed the hooligans and sent out infernape "you really want to mess with fire? Havent you been told not to? It could be dangerous" he said then he sent out Scizor, it was hard to see of it being black and at night

"Yeah," on of them sneered, "are you and your stupid Pokemon going to stop us?" the punk crossed his arms and spat at Jeff, "what's a puny kid like you gonna do about us anyway? Are those Mommy's Pokemon? You better go running off to her and cry, if you know what's good for you," his lip turned up in a twisted grin, "but that would be too easy." He lifted one shoe and stepped that foot closer to Jeff, the action radiated a defiant cockiness. "Kiss my foot and I'll see about letting you off without teaching you a lesson for talking back to your elders."
