Appearance: Black jacket over a white t-shirt and black jeans. Wears a black cap over blonde hair.

Personality: Despite his choice of clothing and favored type of Pokémon, Darek is fairly upbeat and confident. He loves Pokémon and treats even wild ones with kindness. He can be short tempered though and it can get the better of him, but it blows over quickly and he won't hold grudges. He can be overly prideful or energetic, which some find annoying. He is most calm when planning his team for battles or during training and battling. He favors the Dark-Type and holds the highest respect for them. He dreams of catching Darkrai, despite its tendency for causing nightmares. He is extremely close to his Umbreon, his first Pokémon and partner.

History: Darek grew up in Jubilife, fascinated with Pokémon. He was always walking up to trainers and, from a small distance, observed the Pokémon with them. Some of them even let them pet their Pokémon. He always played with the family pet, an Eevee, and they were extremely close. Instead of starting his journey at the age of ten, he went to Trainer School for two years to learn as much as he could before setting out. He managed to capture a Murkrow and Sneasel during his adventure and evolved them into Weavile and Honchkrow. He also managed to capture a Spiritomb. He later managed to catch a Mightyena and Absol. He has now considered participating in the league challenge.
