The start of a Pokemon adventure (Open)

Anastacia had made the decision to start her Pokemon adventure in the Kanto region, she'd pondered about starting in her home region of Johto but wanted to start in a land completely new to her. She was able to get here with some directions given to her by her father . After she arrived to Viridian city she decided to find a place she could rest up, the climate change and time change did a number on her. Taking a quick stop at the Pokemon mart she got a drink for herself and some food for her fennekin, after exiting the mart shed bumped into someone, dropping her water on the ground. "Oh shoot.." She mumbled bending over to look for the bottle.

As the girl bumped into Gavin he stumbled back a bit smiling, as Sampson and Alexis helped him to stay on his feet whilst, Ava quickly found Anastacia's bottle of water; picking it up in her mouth she ran it over to Gavin and gave it to him. Gavin then took the bottle and said to Anastacia
"I believe this is yours"
holding the bottle out to her his team gathering, Sampson and Alexis climbing up on to his shoulders, Syrus onto his head and Shay and Ava sitting on his feet happily chatting away.

As Anastacia fumbled around looking for her water bottle, her fennekin Ari kept behind her legs hiding from the boy shed ran into. After she'd realized that he'd picked up the water for her, she'd grabbed it from his hand gently and smiled a somewhat embarrassed smile. "Thank you, I wasn't really paying attention to where I was going and I'm new to the area so I'm a little overwhelmed, sorry again!" She exclaimed to the boy. Now that she could regain her composure she fixed her tank top tee and fixed the straps that held everything down, Anastacia could see he too was a Pokemon trainer, he had a few types she wasn't familiar with, "My names Anastacia.. I'm from the Johto region.." She mumbled just barely audible.

Gavin laughed in a friendly manner
"That's alright, I've met a few different people that are new to the area"
he then heard her go on to tell him she was from the Johto Region and he said
"That's Cool, I mean personally I've lived here all my life with my parents and these guys. Oh yeah and the name's Gavin Carson by the way"
he then said to his team
"Ok guys we got ourselves a new friend so introduce yourselves. Role call"
They all clambered back down to the ground into a line and each stepped forwards
"This little guy here has been with me the longest and he's Sampson"
Alexis stepped forwards
"This overly friendly princess here is Alexis, Sampson's best friend who joined me at the same time"
Next stepping forwards was Syrus
"This cool customer here is my buddy Syrus"
Following this Ava stepped forwards
"This rather adventurous cutie here is Ava"
Finally Shay strolled forwards into position
"And last but not least we have the powerhouse Shay"
they then bowed to Anastacia and returned to their earlier positions. Gavin then said
"So then now that you've met the gang. Where are you headed? Perhaps I could be your guide after all I've been meaning to get out of this city for a while now so, it would be good to have a travel companion, if you don't mind"
his team all looking to Anastacia but, not in an intimidating manner, more of an intrigued one.

Anastacia stared down at all the Pokemon that surrounded the boy, they were all the same type of Pokemon though they all had traits about them that made them unique, her fennekin Ari poked out from behind her, gazing at the little animals. "What kind of Pokemon are they? I'm not familiar.. I don't know much about Pokemon to be honest." She said with a sheepish smile, folding her hands in front of her skirt. Before she nearly forgot she looked down at Ari, then back at them. "This is my companion and friend, Ari.. She's a Fennekin!" Anastacia said with a smile. "We just got to Kanto.. We're not sure where to go to be honest, we were gonna try to find somewhere to rest, evening is approaching soon I think." She said as she gazed up to the sky to find the position of the sun, then looking back at the boy wondering what his story was. "Do you know anywhere me and Ari could maybe rest the night? We could then all hit the road tomorrow morning!" She exclaimed with a forced smile. She was never good with meeting new people.

Gavin grinned
"That's ok not everyone knows every pokemon, These guys are Eevee but, with their different personalities and traits it can sometimes feel like they're all different species"
his pokemon all nudged him from where they were making Gavin laugh when Gavin was introduced to Ari he crouched down and said to her
"Nice to meet you Ari"
stroking her fur gently before, raising back up and saying
"Right well if you want a place to stay the night we could probably just go to the pokemon centre, after all I consider this my journey started so I'll start it off the right way instead of going home, Come with me and I'll take us there"
he then began walking towards the pokemon centre which was roughly a 5 minute walk away from where they currently were; Shay and Ava strolling alongside him as well whilst, Sampson and Alexis rode on his shoulders and Syrus rode on his head; he probably looked like quite a funny sight to anyone who didn't know him, which in this city was a rarity.

As he explained what kinda Pokemon the little furballs were, she began to wonder exactly what he meant that they'd become they're own species. She shook her head and decided to think about that some other time. She needed to focus on getting to the Pokemon center right now, he'd show her the way there, she didn't realize you could sleep in the centers. "So the Pokemon center is also a resting place for trainers.. Interesting, I'd had no idea." She muttered a little embarrassed by her lack of knowledge. But her social anxiety had begun to plague her mind, and she worried what people and how many people would be staying at the center as well. "Does.. Everyone stay in the same room together..?" She mumbled putting her two hands together, looking down at Ari nervously hoping for a a reassuring look back.

Gavin said
"Yeah it's common practice for trainers to stay in Pokemon Center's whilst on their journeys"
he then noticed her slight anxiety and to calm her down said
"Nah you get you're own room they have special living quarters in the pokemon centre, like an entire wing so, you'll be fine"
soon they got near the pokemon center and he entered leading the way. When in the pokemon center Nurse Joy looked up and said
"Oh hello Gavin, and who's your friend here"
Gavin saying
"This is Anastacia and we were wondering if we could have two rooms for the night? We're setting out in the morning on our adventures"
Nurse Joy replying with
"That sounds exciting sure just let me get you, your rooms card keys"
she looked around before, revealing two card keys and saying
"Ah here they are room's 12 and 13"
passing them to Gavin who graciously beamed
"Thank you Nurse Joy"
his team all thanking her as well. He then turned and explained to Anastacia
"Here is your card key, you have the room next to mine and it's downstairs if I'm right?"
Nurse Joy nodding. He then walked towards the living quarters eventually finding his room and saying
"Right here's my room, that is your one there and I guess I'll see you in the morning"
he indicated towards her room when saying it before slotting in his key card, opening the room and taking it out again; putting it into the room controls for electricity and heating then, leaning on the door frame he said
"Night and ask me if you have any question about anything ok"
looking to her in a friendly manner, his team all clambering down and running into the room, jumping on his bed.

The two of them had finally reached the Pokemon center, and it was a little packed indoors, with Pokemon and trainers alike, she followed him to the desk and he talked to the nurse, they seemed to know each other and he'd introduced her to the woman. "Nice to meet you." She said shutting her eyes and giving a small smile. And the two of them got their separate keys. He led her to where their rooms were. "I hope the beds are comfy, I'm usually pretty picky with what I sleep on but I guess I'll have to get used to that.." Anatsacia mumbled picking up Ari and holding her to her chest. "Thank you, for helping me out that is. I really appreciate it." She happily said with a genuine grin.

Gavin just smiled
"No problem I don't mind helping if I can"
he then heard the gang jumping on the bed and said
"Oh god these guys are seemingly boisterous at the minute, right I'll see you in the morning night Anastacia"
he then shut door calmly and went to deal with the gang. After he'd gotten them all to settle down at the foot of the bed he got changed into his nightwear and climbed in stroking them all and saying
"Night Guys"
before, laying down and falling asleep himself.

(You can start the next day after Anastacia has fell asleep you know with that `-_____ hours later- or -The next morning-` thing)

As she said goodnight to the lad, she walked into her room and looked over at her Fennekin Ari, she'd seemed tedious about sleeping here, it wasn't something they were used to, and Anastacia felt a little the same. "Don't worry Ari, we'll get used to it, we can't always stay at home you know.." She said mumbling and fading into a soft yawn, she decided to get ready for bed; taking off her tank top and skirt she changed into some more comfy clothing and crawled into the bed, letting out a sigh of relief, thinking about how this adventure may be. Would she prosper, or would she end up going home a failure?

- The Next Morning -

Gavin began to stir as, the gang was jumping all over him yapping away quiet enough that no other room would hear but, loud enough to wake Gavin. He sat up as they crowded him and hugged up he then said
"Hey guys what you waking me up for?"
he then looked to the clock seeing that technically it wasn't late but on time shrugging he said
"Right everyone up; lemme get to my bag so, I can sort out your breakfast"
the gang hopping down and running over to surround the chair where his bag was like puppies. He made his way over once he'd stretched and opened his bag taking out five bowls with each of their names on them then placing them on the floor around the breakfast bar part of the room which was like a hotel room. He then filled each with their own food as, each had different preferred tastes so, each had different specially made food, made by Gavin.

The gang then started eating their food and Gavin packed away the containers of remaining food leaving them to eat. He then went to the fridge and sorted himself out some breakfast getting everything ready he began to make himself a fry up. Once made he sat at the breakfast bar with the gang round his feet still eating and started to eat his own food.

Anastacia woke up groggily, looking over to the window seeing the slight rays of sunshine peeking through. Her pokemon Ari hadn't yet woken, and she slowly crawled out of bed attempting to not wake her up, though that failed almost instantly as soon as she stepped off the bed, Ari stretched her legs out and let out a small sigh and looked up at Anastacia. The two of them smiled and greeted eachother good mornings. She got undressed and went to go shower, and then after doing so she got dressed into her normal clothing, a white tank top and a black skirt with suspenders holding her skirt up and shirt down. After she completed her morning routine, she got ready to leave the room and go check on Gavin to see if he was awake.

Gavin finished his breakfast and took the plate to the sink washing it up for whoever stayed in the room next. After this he went and showered before, getting changed into his usual attire, his Long Black jacket, Blue shirt, Black Jeans and Black Socks, throwing on a pair of Black Mid-top trainers. By the time he'd finished so had his pokemon and he took the empty bowls washing them and drying them before, returning them to his bag. Gavin then put his pokemon's favourite coloured pokemon neckerchiefs on them tying it round each of their necks in a way that was comfortable for them and they were as follows:
Sampson - Red
Alexis - Light Blue
Syrus - Black
Ava - Purple
Shay - Yellow
Their colours matching the colour of the Eeveelutions they each wanted to evolve into.

Gavin then threw his bag onto his bag and called the gang over each getting into the same positions as the day prior. Gavin taking the key card from the room controls and performing a final check on everything once he had it all he opened the door and went outside looking to wait for Anastacia to emerge from her room wondering whether she was aware he was already up and ready to go when she was.

She opened the rooms door that lead out into the hallway and quietly and gracefully stepped through without making near a sound, Ari following quickly behind her. Closing the door as she walked out she proceeded to look around and saw Gavin standing near his door with his Eevee, she smiled and said "Good morning! Sleep okay?". She stretched her arms out above her head for a brief moment before letting out a long sigh, so where would they be off to she wondered. "What would be the closest gym to this area you think?" She mumbled in thought, she was curious if he'd battled any of the gym leaders yet.

Gavin saw her and said
"Morning Anastacia yeah didn't sleep too bad I mean I was woken by these guys about an hour ago to give me time to get sorted which was good but, still all in all quite nice"
He then thought for a second before replying
"Well I mean this city has a gym but, trust me you do not want to take Giovanni on so, instead the next one is Pewter City I believe"
he began to walk towards the front desk again to hand in his key and continued
"To get there we're gonna have to get through the Viridian Forest"
Once at the desk he handed in his key-card and started to walk towards the door slowly; his team in tow, waiting up for Anastacia.
