Personality: Hwoarang never feared anything and is ready for any challenges. He'd sacrifice for a friend or for his Pokemon if needed. He's protective and is a bit of a silent type.
History:

When Hwoarang was still a 12 year old, he knew about Pokemon Trainers but never had interest in it. His life runs on school and Taekwondo. He always practices and trains day by day. At the age of 15, he became a Taekwondo Blackbelt and joined a tournament where he defeated a lot of foes and never had a lose. At the age of 17, he lost and has been injured because of the foe cheating on him. The foe was kicked out of the dojo and Hwoarang has been hospitalized. Luckily, he recovered and after some days, he became strong and healthy again.

When his Master knew that he recovered, he quickly visited Hwoarang on their home with a Hitmonlee Egg since he was the favorite student.

His Master encouraged him to become a trainer and taught him everything. At the age of 17, he starts to be a trainer with the Hitmonlee he hatched.
