A whole new region!

Alex took a deep breathe as he walked down the path of Route 1. Having just left his home he was glad to have some freedom. Making his way into a clearing and found a small creek.
"Ace come on out!" called Alex as a flash of light took form of his first Pokemon.
Ace walked up to Alex and gave me a small nudge with his head, laughing Alex nudged Ace back. I normal person would be afraid to be so close to a Aerodactyl let alone play with it, but Alex knew he would never hurt him.
"Okay Ace are you hungry?" asked Alex
Ace let of a cry in agreement.
Alex took out a bowl and filled it with a special food that his dad had given him especially for Ace. After he filled up the bowl Alex placed it infront of his Pokemon and let him eat. As Ace ate a twig snapped behind them.
"Who is there?" Alex called out into the dense overgrowth.

(Since Anarchy hasn't taken it, might as well.)

A small Togepi waddled out of the bushes, looked around blankly for a couple of minutes, all the while uttering soft chirps, and suddenly spotted Alex. It appeared to want to run over but the sight of the large and intimidating Aerodactyl stopped it.


Level 9

Alex looked over at the small Pokemon with a confused look on his face.
"What Pokemon is this?" he asked himself as he took out his Pokedex.
"Togepi, the Spike Ball Pokémon. The shell seems to be filled with joy. It is said that it will share good luck when treated kindly." The Pokedex said.
Putting his Pokedex away Alex looked back at the Togepi who now had a frightened look on it's face. Alex looked behind him and noticed that the Spike Ball Pokemon was afraid of Ace.
"It's okay Ace won't hurt you," he cooed as he sat down, "He is very kind."

The Togepi hesitated for a second before quickly waddling over. It cutely hugged Alex's leg before looking around, then looking back up at at him with an indeterminable look on it's face.

Alex gently picked up the small Pokemon looking down at it.
"There we go," he said gently, "Togepi how would you like to join my team?"

"Toge?" It chirped. It was quite young and didn't quite understand but nevertheless, it nodded.

"Okay than," Alex said smiling while pulling out a Pokeball, "Here you go."
Alex held out the Pokeball waiting for Togepi to touch it.

Togipe's eyes widened, fascinated by the interesting, shiny, round object. It gently tapped it's surface twice, before poking and prodding at the button. Immediately it was pulled in. Surprised, she offered no resistance as she was quickly caught.

Congratulations! You caught a Togepi! Would you like to give her a nickname?

Alex smiled as Togepi went into the Pokeball, pulling out another one he both held them infront of himself.
"Togepi and Starly come on out," he said.
In a flash of light Togepi and a small brown and white bird appeared. Taking out two more bowls Alex filled them and set both of them infront of his two other Pokemon.

-2 hours later-
After packing up and returning both Ace and Starly back into their Pokeballs Alex picked up Togepi put his bag on his back and made his way down the route.

A Swablu was fluttering around with cottony wings, pecking at the nearby fruit hanging on the branches.


Level 10

Togepi started to chirp excitedly at the sight of the strange Pokemon. Pulling out his Pokedex Alex scanned it.
"Swablu, the Cotton Bird Pokémon. For some reason, it likes to land on people's heads softly and act like it's a hat." said the Pokedex.
As Alex put his Pokedex away Togepi jumped from his arms and ran towards Swablu, once she was near it she began to chirp.

Swablu jumped at the sudden sound. Finding that it was only a Togepi, it chirruped cheerily and fluttered down to meet and greet the Spike Ball pokemon.
