The little purple puppy made his way down the stairs of the small farm house that he lived at with his dad, and his two owners. The puppy's name was Coward, and he was the son of Courage. Eustace was the one that named the puppy, thinking that he would be just as cowardly as the 'stupid dog' was. True, the puppy was, but he tried not to be, to show the old man that he was wrong.

"Hiya Dad!" Coward said, walking out of the house.

Courage jumped up "WOOAH!" He fell over like a goat "..."

The puppy blinked, cocking his head to one side.

Courage got up "Soooonnn!"

Coward chuckled. "Yes?"

Courage scratched his ear "Don't do that >:CCC"

The puppy giggled. "Sorry Dad."

"It's okay... I thought you were that... chicken..."

"Chicken?" Coward echoed, scratching his right ear. "Oh! You mean that chicken you told me about from your stories?"

"Yes the alien one"

"Ah. But why would he be here?"

"I don't even know"

Coward frowned slightly. "Well.. Okay.."

"It's okay" Courage patted his son

The purple puppy chuckled. "So, what are we gonna do today, Dad?"

"I'm not sure son... try not to get spotted by that chicken?"
