Personality:
Jäger is curious and observant young boy. He always loves thinking things through, making back-up plans, and pretty much be prepared for anything. When it comes to others' personal problems he is very straight forward and speaks his mind. He is a very honest people as well because he doesn't give a single damn what other people might think of him. His honesty may even be irritating from time to time. Jäger is really bad with one-on-one conversations. With boys it isn't that bad but he is incredibly shy around girls, especially those taller than him. Jäger is really hopeless when it comes to relationships and denies his love for affection. He loves music, and although not doing it often, he also loves ballroom dancing. He can also play piano. Jäger has a strange love for plain rice, eating it for breakfast, lunch, and even dinner. He is really great when it comes to cooking and has a really keen sense of taste and smell but he simply doesn't like eating anything than rice.

Although seeming the type who lazes around the whole day, it is quite the opposite. Jäger is really interested in biology and chemistry. Because both of his parents deal with herbs he has quite a bag of knowledge about different type of plants from his childhood. He has some kind of strange love for plants, and pokemon. He simply feels more at ease when he is surrounded by nature. Jäger really hates it when people ask him questions, such as: "You are going to be like your parents?" "You love reading books right?" He can't stand it when people are asking about him and what he wants to do in the future. Jäger also hates when other talk about it. When he hears something about himself he tires his best to deny and turn it around. It's kinda like a personality disorder of his. Although originally wanting to become a pokemon professor, he changed his mind simply because a friend of his kept calling him Doc, and always saying that he would become a great Professor. Even though telling others that he wants to be a pokemon trainer, secretly he still studies to become a professor.

History:
Jäger grew up in a normal household, in a small wooden house outside of Fuchsia City. Both of his parents were brewers. Because they lived quite far from other houses the boy didn't have all that much connection with others, forcing him to often cling to his parents. Trough that he learned a lot about different herbs, and because living in the wild, also pokemon. When he was little older he started visiting the town on his own. Jäger managed to make some friends, but because of his blunt and honest personality a lot of kids also didn't like him. Those who did though were very loyal. He and his best friend Dansk, or Dan for short, spent a lot of time in the library. They didn't really read all that much but they loved browsing trough different books, looking pictures, and remembering random facts.

When both boys were same old, 14 at that time, Dan announced that he and his family was going to start living in Hoenn Region. Before leaving the two made a promise that both of them would start traveling and would meet up one day. After that Jäger started preparing for his journey. He started taking studying really seriously. After 2 years the boy finally started to start his journey. Although at first he decided to simply go traveling, studying more about pokemon behavior, plants, and science in general, he decided to also try becoming a pokemon trainer.
