Personality: Overall, Elin can be described as a unique person. Elin’s type of uniqueness dwells not on being herself, but rebelling against society’s norms and expectations of her. Elin’s own personality is elusive and hard to grasp, as Elin acts like an actress in a Shakespearian play. Elin is the type of person who finds the pedestrian life incredibly and utterly boring, and tries to become her own person, even if it means abandoning her true self to accomplish that very elusive goal. Elin takes happiness and comfort for granted, as he has experienced those two things for all of her life, and wishes to not let that become a goal of hers, as goals eventually shape you, and Elin does not want to become a person who lives with happiness and comfort, but as a person that she wants to be, even if it means turning away from her real self.

Elin hates to humbled, as even though she has abandoned her life as a rich girl, she still thinks that everybody else in the world sans for a certain few are commoners, pedestrians who are walking dummies. Elin believes that the people who are unique deserve to be treated like kings and queens, although this sort of narcissism turns people away from her, she stays loyal to her beliefs. Although Elin’s personality has their positives, as Elin herself is quite friendly and caring if you fulfill her expectations as a ‘unique’ person. Elin believes that people who do not speak up for themselves are sheep, and should be treated as such. Elin dislikes a variety of people and believes they are tools, sometimes ignoring them. Sometimes Elin lectures the people she dislikes on the importance of being unique, although this rarely happens, and most of the time is just Elin praising and boasting herself.

Although Elin is quite young, she knows quite a lot about human psychology, and often uses it to control people or something akin to that. There are only a few people that anger Elin seriously, and the main category is men, Elin absolutely hates men. Elin refuses to talk to any man, look at any man, and will sometimes assault a man simply because she cannot withstand their dastardly presence. Although half of the world’s population is a lot to the average person, Elin thinks that since the majority of the world’s population is sheep, it is a small number. Elin believes that all men are tools and sheep, without any exceptions. Although Elin is quite sexist to say the least, Elin tolerates male Pokémon, since she, again, believes that all Pokémon are sheep and tools since they allow themselves to be controlled by sheep and tools too.

Elin however, believes that Ghost-Type Pokémon is the best type of Pokémon, although Elin still believes that Ghost-type Pokémon are sheep too. Elin collects and uses Ghost-type Pokémon only, with no exception. Elin captures only Ghost-type Pokémon because she believes they are misunderstood, and are the unique Pokémon among Pokémon. Elin even believes that Ghost-Types are more unique than Legendary Pokémon. Strangely enough, the only Pokémon Elin believes are unique are Shiny Pokémon.

Elin herself is a very flamboyant, and she is often seen wearing an actual crown made out of gold and diamonds. Elin believes that the riches make you unique, making her slightly greedy, but not overtly. Elin has her goals, which she does not feel comfortable sharing with other people. Elin treats other people passively-aggressive, but she is similar to the tsundere personality type, cold to people she does not know well, but very friendly and caring to people she likes. Although getting on her ‘like’ list is similar to winning the lottery, as you have the same chance of being struck by a coconut on the head twice in Alaska while ice-fishing.

Elin has a distinct speaking style, with excluding one vowel of second word of every other sentence.

History: Elin has had the average history of a rich, spoiled girl. Elin was born to the mayor of Cerulean City, and she has lived a very comfortable and happy life when she was younger. Elin believed that money could buy happiness similar to how coins could you buy a soda from a soda machine. However, Elin now resents that ideology, acknowledging it as foolish. Elin one day realized how many people there were living in this world, and how many people did the same mundane, monotonous activities all day for the rest of their boring lives. Elin became terribly fearful of becoming one of those ‘zombies’ as she though, and she started to rebel against the world, alone. Elin started becoming more like a hermit, avoiding other people like the plague. One day, Elin met a young woman who shared her rather fanatical ideologies, and she had more hope in humanity. Elin decided to start out and become a Pokémon trainer, and seek out other people who were ‘unique’ and not sheep or tools.

Of course, Elin's father would not just let her go off into the world alone, while he had supported Elin's journey, he did not feel safe with Elin going with a Pokemon. Elin's father called an old friend of his, an elderly lady living in Sinnoh, who is known in Sinnoh for raising rare and exotic Pokemon, asking if she could spare a Pokemon that would suit Elin's interests. The elderly lady talked with Elin for days, and Elin considered her unique, because she seemed to interesting. Elin also adopted the woman's speaking style, because she thought it was one of the things that made her unique. Elin received a Spiritomb from the elderly lady, and Elin had a hard time getting along with it. Spiritomb loved to scare people, and Elin initially hard time controlling her. Elin and Spiritomb eventually started bonding when Elin tried to lecture Spiritomb on why it's a waste of time scaring sheep every day for almost a month. Eventually, Spiritomb found Elin interesting and worthy enough to be friends with. Elin gave Spiritomb a nickname, Shelda. Elin and Shelda started their journey together!

Personality: Shelda is one of those Pokémon you would not want to dream meeting in a haunted house, and that is exactly the reason why Elin chose to nurture and raise Shelda to be an aspiring unique tool. Shelda is creepy, spiteful, and rude.

I'm sorry, but currently any legendaries/psuedo-legendaries are not allowed for a starter unless you have gotten special permission from a staff member. I'm afraid I have to ask you to use a different Pokemon.

The site rules do not count Spiritomb as a legendary, and we do not have a clear definition of what a pseudo-legendary is. As such and in accordance with the rules, you are allowed to start with Spiritomb. However, I will be enforcing an approval by two staff members on your character. This is because we, the staff, can each interpret the rules in our own way.

Before you can have my approval, because well, it's Spiritomb and because there was some commotion, I would appreciate it if you explained just how your character came to be partners/met/found Spiritomb. A Pokemon with 108 malevolent souls isn't just gonna be your friend.
