Personality: Jinkei is, in a few words, a determined, even a bit stubborn. He loves to push himself to his limits, with his goal to protect others always on his mind. He can't help but try to protect someone in trouble, especially someone close to him. He loves to make friends, and with his uplifting and cheerful personality, it's easy for him.

Jinkei loves to have fun with whatever he does, even doing chores with him can be fun. He also loves to make his battles as flashy as he can, to him, it shows his personality best when he battles. Out of battle, he's not as outgoing, but he's not completely shy, either. He hates to feel helpless, or if he can't help someone, it's his life's goal to help others, and if he can't do that, then he has no other purpose, in his mind. Protecting others isn't his only goal, he strives to be a great and well known trainer.

History: Jinkei grew up in a small home on the outskirts of Driftveil City, near the ocean. His father was an experienced fisherman, probably one of the best in the city. His mother stayed at the house to look after Jinkei and his sister, Aya. They lived a perfectly peaceful life, no-one ever knew about his mother's family secret.

One day, when Jinkei's father was on a fishing trip, he came back with a gift for Jin and Aya. For Aya, she was given a pearl necklace that their father had made from pearls on the ocean floor. For Jinkei, he was given his first partner pokemon, a Dratini which he named Serenity. It was around this time that Jin and his family noticed that he could sense the feelings of pokemon. His mother then revealed to them that she was an ex-aura warrior, and it was only natural for Jin to inherit a small talent for aura control.

From then on, Jin made a pledge to himself to protect others by becoming an Aura Trainer. He had always liked the idea of helping others, but he never got his time of day, until now. Since that day, when he was nine years old, he's been training with his mother to control his aura powers. It was when he was thirteen that his mother decided it was time for him to go out into the world and grow from the experiences he had from it. His father offered to sail to Minoru with him, and his journey from then on started.
