Enter, Vi! Moonlight Battle!~

Ooc: Looking for a Wild Pokemon encounter! Does this mean I need a mod?

Ic: The young, shy feminine trainer made her way cautiously into Moonlight City, Nero right behind her, rolling along as he enjoyed doing. Vi -- which was her name -- looked around, hoping there wasn't a ton of people around. She was a trainer, so she figured Spheal needed some training, considering he was only level five, but honestly she wished there was another Pokemon for Nero to train with. She didn't like the idea of harming innocent wild Pokemon or plants just for getting Nero stronger. Maybe there'd be a Pokemon around here in the outskirts...

It was a Wailmer, snoozing by the side of a lake.


Level 11

Vi looked up in surprise. A wild Wailmer! Perfect! She always preferred water and ice-types. She pointed at the Wailmer, nodding to Nero. "Let's catch it...Uhm, use Signal Beam!" She murmured, a little nervous. She hadn't caught a Pokemon before...Not like this.

Nero, on the other hand, was pumped for a battle. As soon as she gave the command, he bounced forward, a red-ish glow appearing above his forehead. A beam shot out fast, zapping the Wailmer.

The Wailmer was struck full on and blasted awake. It stared at Spheal angrily before unleashing a horrendous and frighteningly powerful attack....Splash. While it weakly flopped about, it made up it's mind and broke into a Rollout, rolling straight at the opponent, throwing up rocks on either side.

Nero the Spheal did not see this coming; the Splash or the Roll Out. Distracted and confused by the pathetic splashing, he was struck mercilessly by Roll Out. Getting tossed backwards, the little Pokemon rolled upright and glared at the Wailmer.

Vi covered her mouth in shock as Nero was hit. "Oh no..." Remembering she'd have to follow up a command before he was attacked again, Vi watched the Wailmer carefully. "Use Ice Beam!" She commanded.

Nero reared back, coming forward again to release a shocking beam of ice-cold energy out of his mouth, right at the Wailmer.

While the Wailmer absorbed up the attack with minimal damage, it continued on it's ruthless Rollout attack.
