Battle Style: Keito is very analytical and takes his time to scan the opponent's style and creates a counter to it. He's not very straightforward and typically toys with his enemies. His Pokemon catch on quickly to his 'games' but an opponent usually sees it as being slow or uneducated.

Personality: Keito is a stoic, quiet person. He's not very outspoken, and typically doesn't let his opinion out unless otherwise allowed to. He can be social, if the situation demands it. He can also be very rude, but that's often unintentional. He cares deeply for and respects Pokemon. His respect for humans is somewhat lower due to knowing first hand what some can do. His social skills need a bit of a brush up, due to spending a lot of time with Pokemon, so he doesn't exactly know normal topics of conversation. When it comes to business, he's no nonsense and will get done what needs to be done.

History: Keito, while born in Hearthome, spent most of his time living in Lavender Town. He had a large family, more than 7 kids, all of which were protective of each other. They had to be. Their parents had to constantly work to make sure everyone was fed. The people of Lavender Town weren't very friendly to his family whatsoever and they were subject to rumors and stories often involving the deaths of Pokemon. They ignored this the best they could, but Kei was driven to do shady jobs. He eventually became an egg smuggler.

Working alongside a secret organization in Lavender Town, Keito began smuggling eggs. One time they were told to steal from a mother Tyranitar. So they were off to Johto. When there, one of his teammates, Kevin, tried to go in first. Kevin was brutally murdered by the Tyranitar. Kei aborted the mission and, rather than take the eggs, befriended the mother. Turns out Kevin had done a number on her. She gave Kei the one egg that she held and he left, determined to protect the egg. He didn't give it up.

Keito eventually decided that being an egg smuggler wasn't legit, and he attempted to redeem himself by becoming an actual breeder because he realized how much joy he got from hatching eggs. Oh, and he found a Buzoke along the way.
