Route 104 ~ A Sweaty Night. (Training Topic)

The sun was long gone, as the sky was now conquered by the greedy shadows, sparkling stars and the round, almost hypnotizing grey moon. And yet something was disturbing the nightly peace, a clicking sound, soon followed by a sudden light, that disappeared half a second later.

It was Marshie, the adopted daughter of a rich, noble couple, doing what she enjoyed and did best; taking pictures of pokémon being natural and beautiful in any way. Or that's how she saw it, anyway.
But the real reason for her to be outside and an hour like 8 PM, was to train her partner and newly gotten friend Grimer. Or as Marshie had named her, Nivea.

So she once again laid the camerastring around her neck, so it lightly tilted from side to side in slow motions. Now she could concentrate and then found herself looking around..
How did one train a pokémon like Grimer without battling other pokémon, she asked inside herself. A worried frown appeared on her otherwise smooth forehead, whilst she rubbed her thin-lined chin.

Nivea moved around, summoned a little while ago from her pokéball, just enjoying the tickling feeling of the low grass caressing her slimy, violet-shaded body. Then she suddenly found a black, shiny stone and picked it up. But instead of admiring it by looking at its beautiful color niveau, Nivea decided to eat the object. It disappeared, and would probably not be seen for a while.
After that, Nivea glided over to Marshies side, rumbling with all her might, to make her notice her presence. Nivea wanted attention, as she quickly became bored. Then she swung her slime-dripping arms around Marshie luckily bare leg, and hugged her with all her might, as if she never wanted to let go of her trainer.

Marshie had already looked down when Nivea started growling at her, and was about to bow down to pat the top of the violet head, or where she thought it was atleast. But then Nivea showed one of her more characteristic features, and hugged Marshies leg. Marshie tried to get her off, by pushing gently with her hands, so they got covered in the violet, mush-ish liquid. But Nivea didn't want to let go, and so she stiffened her whole body increasingly, glowing a bit as she used one of her more defensive moves, Harden.

“Come on Nivea. Don't be like that. We. Have. To. Train.”

Marshie stopped being careful, and used all her power to peel off Nivea from her skin. It took a few minutes, but finally she had gotten the pokémon off. She now sat on the cold grass, panting a little, as it had almost been the workout of the week to get Nivea down.
But whilse she relaxed, with Nivea laying down on the ground like some sort of muddy pool of goo out of pure boredom, she still had to figure out a way to sharpen the pokémons senses and abilities.

“I GOT IT!”

She suddenly yelled, getting up in a hurry with her fist clenched and eyes brimming with green sparkles of light. Nivea had almost fallen into slumber, but got dragged out of it so fast, that she looked around with nothing but wonder in her face.

“Meeeer.. Grimer..?”

Marshie walked over to a random tree, patting it on the brown, bulky surface with a light, gentle smile pointed at Nivea.

“It's pretty simple, but why not try to strenghten yourself by pounding this one? I know you can do it, and maybe it helps.”

Nivea nodded, when her trainer told about the easy procedure to stronger attacks, glided until she were right in front of the tree's compact bark. Nivea took a moment of silence to concentrate, before she pulled back her right arm.. And then slammed it into the rind, with medium force, so it made a pretty loud sound. But it didn't effect the tough shell at all, except a little stain of violet goo kept hanging onto the rind. Nivea looked at her trainer, a little disappointed, awaiting the next command of action.
But Marshie didn't seem let down at all, she just kept smiling with a friendly blink in her eyes, clapping the tree once more.

“Keep going sweety. I'm sure your Pound will soon be strong enough to crack it.”

Nivea nodded shortly, before once again pounding the bark with her slimy arms, making an incredible effort to effect the shell in one way or another. But for the first pair of minutes, only a few darkgreen leaves fell down to the ground in slowmotion. But that didn't discourage the Grimer, that almost saw it as a challenge to make just the smallest wound of damage on the shell.
After forty-three minutes, it finally happened. Nivea was on the brink of fainting from exhaustion, but could now rest assured that she had gotten more powerful, making a noise of bittersweet pleasure. Her arms were tender, but she was proud.
And so was Marshie. She hugged Nivea for a short moment, forgetting about the ridicilously awful odor Nivea releashed. Then she returned Nivea back to her pokéball, so she could rest for a long time. Marshie got up from the ground, and walked in a pretty fast tempo, so that she could let Nivea rest at the pokécenter, and herself lay down on her soft, red-colored sheet covered bed, that was the pride of her temporarily rented room.
