Monkey Business [Need Mod]

Coming down Route 2 with a sassy and confident swing of her hips, Kohaku felt sexier and stronger than ever. She realized, however, that if she were to challenge the gym in the upcoming city she would have to catch a couple new pokemon. She wasn't exactly that knowledgable of the pokemon that inhabit the area, but she did know that one of the pokemon she had her eyes on would be an even harder catch than the others. She called out Norio, her Spheal, and pointed at the trees nearby. "Okay Norio, we're gonna go up there to catch us a pokemon." Kohaku explained as she dropped her bag on the ground by the trees. She pulled a pokeball out to catch the pokemon she was hoping to encounter and began climbing best she could. Daisu kept watch of her bag as the other two scaled the bark.

When Kohaku got to the top she paused to catch her breath. Norio walked over to her and sat between her legs, which were dangling on either side of the tree. "Alright, keep your eyes open Norio. I'm looking to find a Burmy, preferably male, although it is hard to tell. Maybe if we search around long enough we'll find one, I dunno." So Kohaku and Norio jumped through the trees to hopefully find one.

Just outside of Moonlight City was a brimming path with trees and shrubs for Pokemon to take shelter in or sleep. Murkrow fly through the sky, as a few Sentret took to running across the path occasionally. The cries of wild Lillipup could be heard from deep within. Several Burmy hung from trees, watching the path with careful eyes. Rarely did a trainer ever spot a Whismur here, but it was not unheard of.

But as Kohaku climbed into the foliage, they would not spot one of these pokemon. Many of them heard the steps of the trainer and fled. Others simply remained where they were, watching. One such Pokemon, compelled by curiosity, descended from it's web and into Kohaku's path. It was a Spinarak, and it seemed to move slightly due to a wind. "Spin..Spinarak?". Upon closer inspection, this particular Spinarak was blue, not green, with purple legs instead of yellow.

At first Kohaku flinched back at the site of the spider like pokemon, but then she took a closer look. "Amazing. What magnificent colors." Kohaku stared in awe at the Spinarak before the two. It was absolutely beautiful, to say the least. The blue and purple looked much better than the frightening red and yellow that normally colors Spinarak. "You're very handsome, buddy." Kohaku complimented. She thought back to her previous plans of catching a Burmy, but surely this pokemon was a keeper. It made no sense battling it since it was causing no harm to anyone. "You seem cool. You should partner up with me. We're going on an adventure. I have other pokemon but you won't be left out. I would love for you to join us." Kohaku extended a hand with an empty pokeball for him. She suspected he wouldn't know what to do with it, but if he wanted to join he would get curious, none the less.
