A dizzy ride and a new pal (RocketSlime and Flamelunar)

Narah had been so dizzy from the ride that the boat had landed in the absolute wrong place. His ride was boarded to land in Vermillion, but a weird current started by a underwater pokemon landed him in Pallet Town.

Sally wasn't all that frightened that she and Narah had landed the wrong city, that just meant more training so that Sally could be a SALLYmance(get it) .

But Narah knew more about pokemon. Narah knew that at Pallet town, he could get Charmander.

Narah and Sally rushed to the lab, opened the door, and before he opened the door, ___________ had ambushed Narah before he could enter.

(Um, if this is a training topic, you're going to need to actually describe the training happening. You can't just say 'practice all of her moves' and then state that 3 hours of training had passed. If you need help, look at training topics made by other RPers.)

It was a Rattata, not even very powerful. Apparently it had been feasting on some berries when Narah trod by. Thinking, albeit wrongly, that he, Narah, was trying to steal her food. Thus, in a fury, it ambushed him.


Level 10

"Rattata don't seem all that powerful, so I shouldn't be scared, especially since I remember Rattata's dex entry."


          Rattata; The Rat Pokemon
          Will chew on anything it bites. If you see one, there is certain that 40 more live in the area.

"Ok, Let's intimidate the foe using Ember! And since Bagon has Sheer Force as its ability, the burn chance won't be in effect, but it's power doubles!"

A straight fireball launched at Rattata surprisingly.

Rattata quickly stepped aside, watched as the ball of fire seared by harmlessly and then lept forward with a Tackle.

"Good. Things are going according to my idea. Sally, Headbutt the incoming Rattata!"

The pokemon was blown back. Getting back up weakly, it trudged forward with another Tackle.

(By any chance, can you get Narah's Bagon to learn CTM 12: Inferno blast?)
"Bagon, charge with Dragon Rush!"

(I don't think so. I can't really teach your pokemon anything because:
1: You have to teach it, not the mod.
2: You have to buy the TM/CTM first.)

Rattata was able to dodge, even if only by a whisker. Savagely clicking it's teeth, it used another Tackle.

(Oh. I may get it later)
"Sally, charge at it with Dragon Rush again!

The Rattata quickly dodged aside, it's doddering steps getting weaker and weaker. It mustered up strength and dashed at Bagon yet again with a Tackle.

"Counter with Headbutt!"

It was struck head on (Pun not intended.) before collapsing to the ground. It shuddered weakly once before falling limp. It had fainted.

Bagon gained 10 exp!

Now Narah could approach the lab without getting bombarded by a Rattata or a Pidgey. Narah entered the lab and said
"Prof. Oak? May I get a starter pokemon?"

Prof. Oak looked around. "Huh? You already seem to have a pokemon...but of course. Right this way." Walking into the depths of the lab, he signaled Narah to follow.

Narah had followed Prof.Oak to the table where 3 pokeballs sat.
"No need to explain the starters. My grandmother told me who they are."
"Charmander will be my next pokemon!"

"Alright then." He said, handing Narah the pokemon and any other supplies he might need on his journey.

"Yes! I got a Charmander! Um, Prof. Oak, do you know where Viridian forest happens to be?"

"Yes. Go past Viridian city, then comes the forest." He said, pointing.

Why, that will be a great place for me to train with Narah and battle with Charmander
(Forgot the name, Charmander will be named Charred)
