Gotta start somewhere, right?

Hanako's adventures brought her to the Sinnoh region, where she was hoping for a good time and a brand new experience. Hana only had her one pokemon for the time being, but she was hoping to explore the route she was currently in and make a new pokemon friend and for that she would need the help of her current Pokemon friend. "Come on out Sewaddle!" Hanako exclaimed, Taking Sewaddle's pokeball and throwing it out in front of her, Allowing the energy to be released. "Sewaddle!" The cute little bug/grass type pokemon said with a happy face. "Let's start this new adventure together Sewaddle!" Hana then headed out to the tall grass looking for some wild pokemon.

A Karrablast was strolling in the grass, blissfully unaware of the presence of the trainer.


Level 8

Hanako Stopped as soon as she spotted he blue shell of A pokemon that she had never seen before. She reached into her bag and grabbed her pokedex, puting in one of the Ear buds in her right ear, so that this pokemon would not hear the voice.

Karrablast, the Clamping Pokémon. Karrablast live in forests and fields, and often hide in trees or grass when threatened. They can also defend themselves by spitting acid.

A Karrablast huh? Well, it didn't look like I could see Hana or Sewaddle, So Hana used that to her advantage. "Sewaddle! Surprise it with Tackle!" Sewaddle immediately ran toward Karrablast, attempting to tackle it.

Karrablast was tackled off it's feet. Skidding to a halt, it gave Sewaddle an intimidating look, while two red, glowing eyes materialized above it, using Leer to lower the defense of Sewaddle, before jumping it Peck, jabbing it's hook like appendage at the foe.

Sewaddle just blinked at the leering Karrablast feelig a bit nervious and lowering her guard. Right when she saw the Karrablast jump up, Hanako started shouting Commands again. "Sewaddle, roll over and dodge it, Then use String Shot!" The sewaddle obeyed, rolling over to the left in order to avoid Karrablast's hook like body part. The sewaddle then turned around and shot some sticky string that would tangle up the Karrablast, slowing him down if successful.

Karrablast jumped aside, nearly losing balance before advancing with another Peck.

The Karrablast dodged the String shot and went in for another peck. "Sewaddle, dodge to the right this time!" The catterpillar pokemon obiediently rolled over to the right to dodge the peck from the Karrablast. By now, the Karrablast would probably have learned by now the strategy Hanako and Sewaddle were using to avoid its attacks. Sewaddle would not be able to dodge any more if so. Hanako had to take this opportunity, knowing that she had already hurt the Karrablast with the earlier Tackle. She threw an empty pokeball at the Blue and yellow pokemon, crossing her fingers and hoping the Karrablast would be caught.

The Karrablast was sucked in. After vigorously thrashing about, it came out, after only one shake. Shaking itself, it glared angrily at Hanako before trying to Peck Sewaddle again.

The Karrablast escaped! Hana was visibly irritated now. The Karrablast landed a hit on Sewaddle, and Sewaddle was clearly damaged. Slowly and carefully, Sewaddle srtuggled to get up, but was sucessful. However, another hit like that and She was done for. Still, Hanako was pretty mad at the Karrablast. "Sewaddle, Hang in there! Use Energy Ball and then Tackle!" Sewaddle Stood on four of her legs and Made a ball of grass energy, throwing It at the opponent. Then she ran after it, Aiming to tackle the Karrablast who had hopefully gotten hit by the Energy ball.

Karrablast's eyes visibly widened as it was struck by the Energy Ball. It was clearly not expecting that. However, it was blasted back from the attack and that allowed more space between the two combatants. That allowed Karrablast to see Sewaddle approaching and it also ran forward, pincers down and glowing for a Peck.

Sewaddle was going in for a tackle, but could not stop in time when She saw the Karrablast. The Karrablast was coming in for yet another peck and sewaddle was able to slow down but not stop. She got hit my the Peck and fell, Clearly not getting up to battle anymore. Hanako walked up to her fainted pokemon, Frowning. "I am SO sorry Sewaddle, I bet you'll do great next time. Return." Hanako held out Sewaddle's pokeball, and Sewaddle's energy got sucked in. Hana placed the pokeball in her bag and then turned around. After a single look back to glare at the mean 'ol Karrablast, Hana ran off. She needed to get Sewaddle to a nearby pokemon center.
