Battle Style: Flynn fights with a refined style. He adapt quickly in different batlle situations. Though he tries to finish fights quickly with what would be best described as a swift onslaught.

Personality: Flynn is a quite calm individual while being with and won't lose cool unless being extremely agitated. . He is a very patient man. He doesn't really trust people and and tries to be counted on instead. He is very intelligent and is capable of solving the most difficult problems. He considers himself a gourmand and is quite skilled at cooking. He enjoys fighting to a certain degree. He is quite the charmer and will hit on any girl meeting his standards
He respects the strong and will gladly challenge them to battle. He dislikes Loud people, beans and stupidity. He tends to ignore loud and irritating people. He is polite and somewhat loyal. He relies heavily on his pokemon and consider them his friends and comrades.
In battle his personality changes somewhat. He keeps his cool demeanor, but he gets very serious and turns merciless in battle as he viciously yet calculative destroys his enemies with any means neccesary.

History: Flynn was that sort of kid who wouldn't get along with the other children. He would rather sit by himself reading a book or ordering dinner at the local restaurant. He would also go to the nearby plains with a lunchbox and just sit down while eating his lunch.

He would just sit there sometimes watching the many pokemon as they passed by. One day a quite unfamiliar pokemon appeared out of the forest and walked towards him. It looked like some sort of Flying-type but he wasn't sure. He noticed that the Pokemon seemed to be interested in his lunch and he figured he could might as well share. He picked up a sandwich and stretched it to the approaching bird. The bird seemed puzzled but eventually it just took the sandwich in its mouth and made some very satisfied noises. The bird laid down next to Flynn and stayed like that for a couple of hours.

Flynn eventually started his walk home and the bird was set on following him. He presented it to his parents but they didn't know just what kind of Pokemon it was. They contacted some higher authorities and they even sent a research team to find out that it was an Archen. Though it was pretty strange how a prehistoric Pokemon appeared out of nowhere like that. No one found it a trouble for Flynn to keep his friend and he was allowed to keep him. He named the Archen Archer due to its pinpoint accuracy with the move Aerial Ace.

The two spent many years together and Flynn decided to postpone his journey until he and Archer were ready. After all, what was the point of sending a ten year old into the wilderness? He could wait until it was safe for him to travel. So he and Archer kept their lifestyle up untill he was 16. He was now ready and ventured into the wilderness with his trusted companion by his side.
