Here We Go!

Bryan is sitting on a bench outside their house with his slingbag on the table, he zipped it and worn the strap on his shoulder and the bag rested on his lower back. His mother came out of the house's door carrying Bryan's Growlithe like a baby.

Bryan's Mom: "Bryan, I already fed your Growlithe up. He's ready to take on any challenges now."
Bryan: "Thanks mom, well Growlithe, we'd been waiting for this day. Here we go."

Bryan grabbed a Pokeball and is about to let Growlithe in but it barked and jumped on Bryan's shoulder. It was about to fall but it clinged on Bryan's clothes and wrapped his arm around Bryan's neck where his body rested on Bryan's upper back.

Bryan: "Well, just be careful not to accidentally scratch my neck."
Bryan's Mom: "Well son, just be careful and promise me that you'll come back here safe."
Bryan: "Sure mom. I won't let myself lose you and I don't want you to lose me."
Bryan's Mom: ":) Well, I think you should have Growlithe a warm-up."
Bryan: "Well I think I saw a nice wild Pokemon over there."

Bryan walked to a pile of tall grass and walked around searching for the wild Pokemon he saw.

A pidgey level 7

Bryan and his little puppy Pokemon found a wild Pokemon but it's not the one that Bryan saw a while ago.

Bryan: "Now if you defeat it, should I capture it or not?"
Growlithe (Translated): "Capture it."
Bryan: "Wait, I'd try to befriend this little fella. If it fails, then you have to fight it."

Bryan's little puppy Pokemon jumped down and the trainer kneeled down facing the Pidgey.

Bryan: "Hello there little fella! I am a trainer on my way on to my first step of the ladders, I need you to help me out by joining me so you can evolve to a Pidgeot someday. Does that sound fine?"

(My mom found me on the computer at 4 am and so now I'm on the DSi, which can be quite persnickety. I spent the last 20 minutes trying to reply to your PM saying I'd RP as a Pidgey. XD)

Pidgey hopped forward a bit and cocked his head, unsure if he could trust this kid and Growlithe. Nonetheless, he hopped forward again curiously.

Bryan: C'mon don't be afraid. I'm not going to catch you by trapping you on a jacket."

Bryan rested the back of his palm on the ground for Pidgey to hop.

The Pidgey hopped closer and pecked on his hand! (Peck)

Bryan quickly raised his hand away and is hurt, he stood up and he's Growlithe faced the Pidgey.

Bryan: "Aww! Nrrr...! Growlithe, Ember!"

The Growlithe felt angry and quickly fired small flames from its mouth on an attempt to use -Ember- on the wild Pidgey!

The pidgey flew above, dodging and screamed
"PIDGEYY!"
Several pidgeys showed up and started to circle around Bryan and his growlithe
a Pidgeotto scream was heard from above, the leader of the pack, soared down and up like they were about to eat Bryan and his growlithe

(It's always like this when I mod a pokemon, just ask shadow xD)

An old man nearby pointed upwards.
"Would you look at them storm clouds! They bin here 'bout three hours. I don' lak the looks of 'em." He hobbled away. Suddenly his fears were confirmed: It began to rain. There was some lightning in the distance. Then it was like a bomb went off. The leader Pidgeotto was struck by lightning! It hung in midair for a moment, suspended in animation, then it tumbled to the ground. It had fainted.

(Its just what i do to give new trainers a 'nice' kick off)
(birds attacking them like ash, or experiences with mates etc etc)
Many pidgeys chirped, screaming, the Pidgetto slowly got up, and then the birds were wildly running away, the Pidgeotto went along.

A strange shape was seen above, It looked like another bird, now you can see it clearly, it is yellow and is a bird, flying above heading to the seas..
After a while of shadowy gliding, the pokemon flew away

Wow...

Bryan: "What on Earth is with those Pidgeys? That one looks like... a Zapdos?"
Growlithe (Translated): "Yep, that's a Zapdos, or maybe a shiny Ho-oh. Good thing those Pidgeys and that Pidgeotto flew away or else i'm going to turn them into ash."
Bryan: "Heh, take it easy. At least they're gone now. Hey, this thing reminds me of the first episodes of Pokemon."
Growlithe (Translated): "I kinda got too much warm-up. Well, I want to find another one that I can fight."
Bryan: "Sure, but if I like that one, I'm going to befriend it, if not, then you fight."

Growlithe along with his trainer, walked slowly searching for another Pokemon.

"O~tsu to! Sono Sanda wa arimasu ka?!" (Whoa! Is that a Zapdos?!)
Shin was doing the hand binoculars from above a tree

Near to them or from a distance?

The two keeps searching.

The zapdos has glided away..

Growlithe stopped walking because a late idea flushed on his mind about the legendary Pokemon they saw. The trainer noticed his puppy Pokemon.

Bryan: "Hey, Growlithe, something wrong?"
Growlithe (Translated): "Why didn't we even notice that we just saw a legendary Zapdos that rarely appears and has rare sightings? According to what my father told me, legendary Pokemons shows to trainers with kind hearts and great skills for the future. That means we just lost the opportunity. We could've captured it or got its attention to invite it or maybe befriend it or whatever nice."
Bryan: "O.o Your... right..."

Out of the pile of tall grasses, a tall, dark, muscular and handsome trainer crossed-paths with Bryan and his Growlithe.

???: "Wow. No offence but you just lost it, your Growlithe's right. I hope someday you see it again."
Bryan: "Hn? You saw it too 'eh? Yup, I hope."
???: "So little kiddo, what's your name?"
Bryan: "Bryan... Bryan Killings... You?"
Artix: "The name's Artix Kennedy. So kid, I'm just starting as a trainer like you. Care for a match?"
Bryan: "Sure thing, my little Growlithe here is looking for warm-up."

Growlithe barked at Artix giving him a sign that he is ready for battle.

Artix: "Heh, here we go, Machop!"

Artix grabbed a Pokeball from his waist and out of the white circle on its middle, comes out a red laser hitting the ground revealing a Machop.

Bryan: "Well... who-"
Artix: "YOU go first."
Bryan: "Heh, Growlithe, Ember!"

The little puppy Pokemon fired small flames out of its mouth on an attempt to hit the Machop.

Artix: "Dodge it and use Bullet Punch!"

Machop dodged the Ember while running closer to Growlithe, on the right time, Machop attempted a Bullet Punch and Growlithe was hurt.

Bryan: "Growlithe, attempt for another Ember!"

Growlithe quickly used Ember, thanks to Machop being just 2 steps away from Growlithe, the Ember hit Machop and it backed off a few steps away.

Artix: "Oh yeah? Jump and use Low Kick!"

Machop walked fast closer to Growlithe and jumped on an attempt with a Low Kick!

Bryan: "Come and get it! Growlithe, catch it with a Flare Blitz!"

Growlithe jumped and cloaked itself with fire countering the Low Kick with a Flare Blitz going up sending Machop up and fell on the ground, it was weak but it managed to stand up and get on a fighting stance.

Artix: "Wow, is that an Egg Move?"
Bryan: "Yup."
Artix: "Machop, you're weak, I don't think you can win. It's better if we surrender."
Bryan: "That's a good idea but actually, not, because according to the rules, you cannot run away or surrender from a trainer battle. You have 2 options, attack or I'll attack."
Artix: "Argh! Machop, try Focus Energy."

Machop inhaled deep and focused its energy.

Bryan: "G'bye! Growlithe, Ember!"

Growlithe used Ember again on an attempt for a final hit for a victory but...

Artix: "Duck while running then slide with a Low Kick!"

...it was dodged by the Machop ducking while making its way near to Growlithe then it slid with a Low Kick and Growlithe was hit. The little puppy Pokemon's legs was kicked making it bend, it tried to stand up but it lost balance and rolled over.

Bryan: "Nice move! I just hope you can do another Ember!"

Growlithe succesfully fired Ember but Machop quickly jumped without being told and there goes a Cross Chop ready to hit once it lands. Growlithe was hit and is weak now.

Bryan: "It's the last shot I guess."
Bryan/Artix: "Flare Blitz!/Leer!"

Growlithe was on mid-cloaking in fire when it lost focus by Machop's eyes flashed lowering Growlithe's defense.

Artix: "Hehee!"
Bryan/Artix: "Ember!/Leer!"

Growlithe is too tired to use Ember but Machop succesfully used Leer lowering Growlithe's defense again.

Bryan: "Really?"
Bryan/Artix: "Bite!/Bullet Punch!"

The 2 Pokemon ran to each other and Machop quickly hit Growlithe with a punch on the face and Growlithe fell on its knees and Machop goes for another punch but Machop caught its fist and bit it, Machop fell on its knees and both Pokemon lost. It was a tie!

Bryan: "Wa-hey! Nice battle!"
Artix: "Machop, at least you did your best."
Bryan: "You too little buddy, well, I guess we could go to the Pokemon Center together."
Artix: "Yep. We're on the way to Viridian City."

The 2 Pokemon faced each other and gave each other a smile as a sign of friendship. The 2 trainers grabbed their pokeball and returned their Pokemon back.

Bryan: "Let's go."
Artix: "Okay."

Both trainers went to Viridian City to heal their tired Pokemon.
