Starting a Journey ((Yveltal))

Valerie stretched and rolled over to see Shade right up against her face with his paws on her arm. She smiled and rubbed his head before standing up and looking around the room. There were things to do and Shade was ready apparently so she should be as well. "Hey, Shade, are you ready to start this journey now? Maybe we will find a cool pokemon partner who we will both like." The Umbreon purred softly and then gave a small yipping sound that showed he was happy and agreed. So the trainer moved out and walked down the stairs while grabbing her stuff along the way.

"Mom, Shade and I are heading out to go on our journey now. We'll be back to visit soon...love you." The sixteen year old girl called out to her mom and walked out of the door and into the open air. It was a cool and crisp day, perfect for running through the grass and having fun with friends.
