Battle Style: Gerik is always observing and calculating in his head to come up with the best possible method of offense or defense. His pokemon mean a lot to him so he will not overwork them if he knows they are unable to do what he is asking of them. Despite this though he always gives every battle his all and expects his pokemon to do the same. Gerik is a firm believer in a fair fight, meaning if he knows a pokemon had been injured before the battle began then he will refuse to battle it until it is fully restored. He is also the type of person to never back down even when the odds are stacked against him, because to him the only way to improve is to test your limits and push them. Gerik is by no means a sore loser, if he does happen to lose he will admit defeat graciously and treat the victor with as much respect as possible.

Gerik is 6’3” and weighs in at 210 lbs. Gerik has amber colored eyes and a slight beard. He has a scar running across his face under his eyes and another scar a bit behind his left cheek. He also has various scars across his upper body, some can be seen like on his arms and shoulders while others are concealed by his clothes like the one’s on his chest, stomach, and back. His hair is green, quite similar to the color of an Evergreen tree, it spikes out at the back and reaches down to just below his neck. He's always wearing his purple headband. His clothing consists of a purple sleeveless shirt with a leather shoulder-guard over his right shoulder. His pants were originally a white but from so many years of working and travelling they have been stained with dirt and sand, having an earthy tinge to them now, he also wears a leather belt and yellow brown cloth around his waist. On his right hand he wears a dark blue/black glove while on the left he wears bandages, not because of any particular wounds but because he likes the look of it. For his footwear he chooses to go with leather working boots.

Personality:
Gerik is a kind and gentle person, he's always greetings strangers with a smile and treating them with the utmost respect. He enjoys speaking with people and hearing their stories, mostly because of his love of learning and adventure. Gerik does his best to learn from everything he experiences and sees and tries his hardest to make as little mistakes as possible although he wouldn't be considered a perfectionist. Gerik is a very trustworthy, honorable, and responsible person, he will treat others the best he can because of his belief of doing unto others what you would like them to do to you. In other words, he treats people the way he wants them to treat him. Gerik treats promises very seriously, when he makes them there is almost nothing in this world that can stop him from keeping his promise. He's always ready and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone and everyone who needs it, he doesn't enjoy seeing people and pokemon alike in any sort of distress or discomfort. Gerik is very observant, always watching everything that's going on around him so he has a complete understanding of a situation and a knowing of what should be done. His love for nature knows no bounds, he always feels at home when in a forest or cave or any open road with beautiful scenery. When it comes to actual fighting Gerik will always try his hardest to settle things with words but if it comes down to it he won't object to doing what needs to be done. On the other hand Gerik loves pokemon battles and will never turn down a challenger, he believes you can tell practically everything about a person by the way they battle and by the way they treat their pokemon.

Personality: Over the years of travelling with Gerik, Stone's personality has changed to match his. Stone is kind and respectful to any person or pokemon he meets and is very calm and relaxed, always observing things to get a better understanding and learn. He always gives it his all in a battle and has no hard feelings if he ends up losing, instead he will push himself to become stronger to not let his best friend Gerik down.
