A Journey Begins.

As the early morning sun beamed down into the forest Luke stirred from his sleep, it had been the first night sleeping in forest of his journey and it wouldn’t be his last. As he got out of his sleeping bag he reached for his backpack, pulling out a Pokeball he stared at it thinking of all the great adventures hey will have together.
“Go Torchic!” he called, as a white light appeared infront of him taking the form of a small bird.
“Torchic,” it said happily.
Wandering over to the nearby stream Luke splashed some on his face, looking around he noticed multiple berry bushes and decided to retrieve some. Jumping over the stream he began to collect some berries, he chose to pick alot of them so he could take them on his travels. While collecting some round blue coloured berries he noticed a large slash, thinking nothing of it he continued to pick them.

Suddenly a Deino erupted from the bushes as it surveyed the trainer and the Torchic at it's side.

Luke dropped the berries when the Deino appeared, pulling out his Pokedex he scanned the Pokemon.
"Deino, the Irate Pokémon. Because Deino never stops biting anything it can, it is dangerous to approach without taking precautions." Stated the Pokedex.
Deciding it will be a good asset to his team Luke decided to battle the Pokemon.
"Torchic use Ember!" he called.
Torchic nodded and ran and jumped at the Deino, opening his mouth he released multiple Embers at him.

The Embers singed the Irate pokemon and angered it. Charging forward, it released several blue plumes, using Dragon Rage.

Torchic was flying back by Dragon Rage and landed next to Luke.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
Torchic nodded before standing back up waiting for the next command.
"Torchic use Flame Charge!" Luke called.
Torchic started to scratch at the ground causing dust to fly around him, he ran out of the dust surrounded by fire at Deino.

Deino quickly pranced aside and charged out another Dragon Rage.

Torchic startled by the dodge tripped and fell to the ground and was once again hit by the Dragon Rage, Torchic then was flung into a tree and was still standing.
"One more time, Torchic!" Luke yelled.
Once again Torchic scratched at the becoming surrounded in dust, he then ran out of it covered in fire at Deino determined to hit.

The Deino was hit. Hard. It crashed into a tree, not unlike the Torchic. It stood shuddering and tried another Dragon Rage.

"Now Torchic finish him off!" called Luke, "Use Flame Burst!"
Torchic looked towards the sky and opened his mouth release a stream of fire, the fire then formed a ball which fired multiple streams at Deino.

Deino charged into the flames, going through with the momentum of a Tackle and continued, charging straight at Torchic, mouth agape with anger.

Luke thinking he could end the battle pulled out a spare Pokeball from his pocket.
"Go Pokeball!" he yelled as he through it at Deino

Deino's eyes glistened as it swerved it's head and batted the pokeball back at Luke, continuing it's Tackle at the Torchic.

Luke caught the Pokeball as Deino ran into Torchic sending him into Luke's chest, Luke fell backwards and landed on his back. Looking up he saw his only chance to catch Deino.
"Torchic use Flame Charge!" he called
Just like before Torchic scratched at the ground causing dust to surrounded him, he then charged at Deino once again.

Deino tried to intercept with Bite.

"Dodge the bite and drop from the sky!" he called
Torchic jumped onto Deino''s head and flew upwards he then flew back down and landed into Deino.

Deino bucked like an out of control Rapidash as it tried to swivel it's head and attack with Dragon Rage.

The Dragon Rage kept missing as Torchic kept Deino down.
"Now go Pokeball!" called Luke as he through the Pokeball at Deino

This time it found it's mark. Deino was sucked in with a despairing cry and the ball clicked. Congratulations! You caught a Deino!

Luke ran over and picked up the Pokeball, which now contained his new Deino holding it up into the air he called.
"I caught a, Deino!"
Placing the Pokeball back into his pocket he thanked and then recalled Torchic to his Pokeball, packing up his bag and some berries he headed off down the path. As he continued down the path a poster caught his eye.

(Nor did I XD. Also...a poster? ._. Write on ahead...)

The poster fluttered in the wind and flew up, swirling with the dust and leaves before swooping down and attaching itself to Luke's face.

Removing the poster from his face he began to read it.
Luke finished reading all of the information and started to sprint towards the competition, after about 1 hour of sprinting Luke decided to take a break.
"Torchic, Deino come on out!" he called as his two Pokemon appeared.
Setting out the two bowls of Pokemon food he watched as Torchic and Deino happily ate it.
"Deino, I think we need some training since I just caught you," he said.
Packing up the walked into a small clearing just big enough for some training.
"Deino use Dragon Rage at that tree," he said to the Pokemon.
But Deino didn't obey and just lied down and went to sleep.
"Deino, I said use Dragon Rage!" he growled at the Pokemon but Deino just lied there, "Fine then be like that I guess Torchic will just be stronger than you,"
Suddenly Deino's eyes snapped open and he fired a strong Dragon Rage towards the tree causing it to snap in half, Luke congratulated his new Pokemon but that stopped when they heard a deep, threatening growl.

A strong looking Timburr crashed out of the undergrowth. It angrily looked at the intruders, baring it's teeth. It was it's territory and they had intruded. A second Timburr shyly stepped out from behind and setting down the block of wood it carried, tried to calm and restrain the first, aggressive Timburr.

Deino got into a attacking stance and growled at the wild Timburr, while Torchic stood at Luke's side feeling a bit frightened. Suddenly Deino released multiple Dragon Rages towards the two Pokemon.
"Deino, return!" Luke called but Deino just moved out of the way and kept attacking.

The first Timburr blocked the flames with it's block and swung in with a Low Kick, trying to kick down the Deino while the other one watched helplessly, much like the Torchic it now eyed.

"Deino, stop this now!" Luke growled trying to sound threatening.
But Deino refused to listen instead he started charging towards the aggressive Timburr ready to use bite.
