[TRAINING] Merciless practice! [FINISHED] Empty
PostSubject: [TRAINING] Merciless practice! [FINISHED]   [TRAINING] Merciless practice! [FINISHED] H6Q0F8zMon May 20, 2013 3:57 pm

"Phewh!!" A very exhausted trainer exclaimed as he finally, after days of continuous walking, made it to the Viridian Forest. The full moon shone brightly on the night sky. Many stars shone as well. In all, the sky was far from dark. However, the forest below was completely dark. Even with adjusted eyes, it was hard to see anything. "Oof!" The boy's head had hit a tree, "Ow!!" He yelled, causing sleeping bird pokemon in the trees to wake by surprise, and scatter into the sky expecting a predator. Right then, a roar of laughter was heard, it was his three pokemon, a Nidorino, a Ralts and a Gible. Deciding that he wanted company and that he should not be the only one getting tired from walking, he forced his pokemon out of their pokeballs to walk all the way with him. They had loads of fun on their way, so far both him and his pokemon were happy to have walked the road together. Looking down on his three pokemon, the boy sighed in annoyance and decided to get back at them. "Okay, enough, time to train! Don't forget why we came here, we have a gym battle tomorrow and we gotta toughen the hell up!" Now, his three pokemon looked up at him and sighed in annoyance. So much for co-existence. First, Masaru, the trainer, decided it was Gible's turn. He [The Gible] was the strongest pokemon in his team in terms of experience. Even though a male Nidoran was the trainer's first pokemon, he focused on his Gible as he progressed. Inspite of this, he did not frget about his Nidoran, and the Ralts he later caught. He just used Gible for the effective moves he knew. He loved them all the same.
Grinning in anticipation of witnessing the dragon baby's power first hand as he has so many times, he ordered, "Gible, use Flamethrower on that tree there!!" Looking into the darkness, Gible did not see any tree. In fact, the poor guy did not see a thing. "Gib, Gib.. Gible??" The pokemon let out a confused call. However, as Masaru insisted it was a tree, Gible fired a Flamethrower in the direction. "aaaaaaAAAAHHH!!~" A deafening squeal was heard, from the direction Gible fired the Flamethrower into. A more clearer look revealed a Ralts, no, Masaru's Ralts on fire! The poor Ralts jumped all over the place, her pretty dress like bottom on fire as she thumped on the ground with each leap, panicking. Turns out Masaru couldn't see much of anything either. "Aaaah! Put it out! Put it out!" Masaru yelled loudly causing the even more panicky Nidorino to wake up and run all around the place in confusion. This went on for a few minutes but in order to save your time, I'll just skip to the part where the fire was put out by the wind before the usual "superhero" gimmicked Masaru could do anything. After a while and assuring that Ralts was alright, the training continued, after putting Ralts in her pokeball to rest, of course. Continuing now, Masaru ordered his Gible back to his position. "Gible now use Sandstorm!" Ordered Masaru. Waving his arms frantically, the Gible stomped the ground to kick up bits of sand and in a sudden burst of energy, generated a sandstorm. Now, Gible made a pushing gesture and sent the sandstorm forward, scratching the trees in its way, disturbing sleeping pokemon. Even though he wasn't cold-hearted, he did not mind disturbing some sleeping pokemon to train his own. Panting now, the Gible looked on as the dark forest became almost shrouded in the sandstorm. Giving him no rest, Masaru ordered once again, "Use Dragon Rage!" The tired pokemon did not hesitate as he inhaled strongly and shot out a fireball-like ball of energy from its mouth, going forward at extreme speeds, piercing the sandstorm and striking a giant tree before exploding in a strange explosion of light. Very exhausted now, Gible struggled to stand. Masaru, being as stubborn as he was, persuaded the pokemon to try harder and keep trying until he practiced each move he knew so far. And they were nowhere near done.
Hours passed by, and the night only got darker. They did not sleep, Masaru kept pushing his Gible to keep training. By then, numerous trees around them had been cracked, some even on the floor, due to the Gible's fierce physical moves, namely Tackle and Take Down. There were noticeable holes in the ground caused from the excessive use of Sand Tomb. The part of the forest he was in, was a total mess! And he was just beginning his training session! No wonder the boy got called a hooligan often. Worn out now, Gible could not stand anymore. He fell to the floor and Masaru finally realized that it was time to move on to the next pokemon. "You need some rest, be sure to fight this good at the Gym tomorrow!" With that he called Gible back into his pokeball and smiled looking at his sleeping Nidoran who snored loudly next to him.
"Wake up, you lazy bum, it's your turn now!"

"Grrrrr..." an annoyed Nidorino, forced to train after having walked a huge distance from Vermillion City to the Viridian Forest. Staring into the darkness, Nidorino waited for Masaru to command him. Soon enough, Masaru said firmly, "Nidorino, use..." pausing to think, he continued his sentence a few seconds after with "Leer!" With that the Nidorino looked rather confused, there was no animate object to stare at here. Sighing, he decided to just use the move Leer with no target. Its eyes glowed red and its body covered in a red outline, it truly looked intimidating. Carrying on, Masaru said, "Let's try a chain combo move, Nidorino!" Nodding in agreement now, Nidorino prepared to follow the incoming orders. Picking a tree to target, Masaru said, "Use Iron Tail on that tree!" Listening intently, Nidorino charged at the tree and suddenly spun clockwise, his tail glowing bright silver as he did. The tail struck the tree with intense force. The tree broke into two, the top half and the bottom half. The top one fell to the side. Before it hit the ground, Masaru followed up his previous order, "Now use Double Kick!" With that, Nidorino kicked the tree twice upward, now positioning it right in front of him in a slanted position. "Now finish the combo with Peck!" Nidorino's beak shaped mouth glowed white as he charged forward and repeatedly pecked at the broken half of the tree.

"Awesome! We'll use that combo in the Gym for sure!"

Thinking that his turn was over, Nidorino relaxed on the floor only to be woken right up by Masaru. "Now let's do that a hundred times! Alright!"

A while later, the tree was shattered by the combo. The bits scattered across the floor. Panting now, Nidorino already wanted to stop but Masaru was having none of that. "Use Iron Tail and spin counter-clockwise... at that tree there!" He said, pointing to another tree. The Nidorino's tail glowed silver once again as he struck the tree, spinning as he did. "Now sping the other direction and use Iron Tail again!" With that the Nidorino spun in the other direction, striking the tree once again, cracking it this time. Without order now, Nidorino figured the next order and used Peck, pecking at the crack of the tree rapidly until the crack grew much larger. He then finally, simply tapped the top half of the cracked tree and pushed it over, breaking that tree as well.

"That will do."

"Come out, Ralts, its your turn now!"

"Pfffffftttt!!" Masaru's Ralts whined as he put her outside of her pokeball. The poor thing just suffered a burn and she was already being made to train. Masaru looked at his pokemon, there was a slight problem. Ralts offensive moves, or more, offensive move (singular), was telekinetic. That too, Ralts knew confusion and not psychic, thus she was somewhat weak in offensive terms. Nevertheless she knew moves like Double Team and Teleport to help her avoid attacks that are used against her. After a while of thinking ways to train her, Masaru finally stood up and said, "Alright, Ralts!" He gestured to the broken pieces of the trees that his Nidorino had broken. "Lift all those pieces, lets start slowly, try lifting one of them!" Ralts made her way to the tree pieces and hopelessly tried to lift one of them with her bare hands. "No, silly, I mean using your telekinetic stuff! Vary your confusion!" Ralts sighed in utter annoyance, the boy acted like he knew so much about her powers while it was evident that he did not know anything when it came to the psychic powers of his pokemon.

What Masaru ordered was not an easy task. A fully evolved Ralts, or, a Gardevoir could do things like that with ease but for a Ralts, the broken tree pieces were way too large. She whined in her own language and looked at Masaru with weary eyes, longing for rest. "Oh, you want a bigger piece? Okay! Why don't we try this with that half of that tree that Gible busted?" Masaru said, as if he knew that was what his pokemon wanted, even though it was the opposite. With that, Ralts frantically waved its arms and yelled its head off, complaining like it never complained before, whiny, comical tear drops appearing on its usually hidden eyes, covered by its bowl-cut like green part on its head. However, since Ralts did no physical activity, a touch challenge like that is what would get her going.

Ralts now stood in front of the half of the tree that Gible chopped down to the floor. It was quite big, around ten feet big. As instructed, Ralts attempted to use her psychic abilities to lift the tree. She focused and a pink outline appeared on her, then her eyes also got covered in a pink outline. Then the pink outline appeared on the huge tree. Ralts kept calm at first but as she struggled to lift the tree, she involuntarily held her breath and tried too hard, lost her calmness and thus her focus. The pink outline disappeared from the tree and herself. She failed to move the tree an inch, and was very exhausted from trying. Masaru rolled his eyes as if he could do better. This did not discourage Ralts one bit as she knew her trainer was like this, not mean just annoyingly pushy. She tried again, this time with much better force. Against all odds, she managed to lift the tree off the ground after only a few seconds. However, just as the tree rose above an inch from the ground, it fell back down as Ralts lost focus, unable to concentrate. The tree weighed a LOT. Ralts was sure now. She looked back at Masaru and shrugged, shaking her head and somwhat making a puppy face. Even Masaru who so clearly misunderstood the simple things his pokemon wanted to do, got the message. The tree was too big and heavy for Ralts to lift.

Masaru looked at Ralts and realized he was expecting a little too much from her. He pointed at the scattered tree, the one Nidorino attacked and said, "Lift two of those pieces at once." The pieces were around 3 or 4 feet each. Ralts made her way to the scattered pieces and began concentrating once again. The same pink outline appeared on both pieces and Ralts and her eyes as well. Soon the pieces rose from the floor, one inch, two inches, soon a foot and then another foot, the pieces kept rising. Ralts was doing an awesome job. She kept the pieces afloat for several seconds, the magnificence of her powers clearly visible to anyone watching. However, she was tired from trying to lift the huge tree. Unable to keep focused, the pink outline disappeared from both Ralts and the tree pieces, and the pieces fell to the floor in a loud thud, causing loads and loads of dust to rise from the ground.

"Awesome! That's it for today! Rest well, we have a gym battle tomorrow, I hear Brock's strong!"

Gibble gained 86 Exp! Gible Grew to level 23!

Nidorino gained 42 Exp! Nidorino grew to level 19!

Ralts gained 77 Exp! Ralts grew to level 20!

Both Ralts and Gible were suddenly surrounded in a white light. Their appearance and features began to change, and both began to grow. In a couple of seconds, if the trainer did not stop them, they would become a Kirlia and Gabite respectively.
