Looks: Being 20 Ellie still looks quite young with few wrinkles or blemishes. Her skin is light brown and her hair long, straight and black, all one length, often tucked behind her large ears. Her eyes are almond-shaped and so dark brown they appear black. Her eyelashes are long and eyebrows are naturally thick but often tamed with tweezers. Her jaw-line is smoothly curved to her short, pointed chin.

She often dresses inconspicuously in regular clothes such as sweaters, jeans, long skirts and jackets. She never opts for anything flashy or sexy and instead prefers to be well covered. On the day she sets off for her journey she wears denim jeans and a long greenish-brown jacket with suede brown walking boots. She's slim but not skinny.

Ellie always seems to have a frown and walks around with her head low.

Personality: Ellie is very naive and sheltered. This has an effect on how she comes across to others. She can seem abrupt, demanding and entitled, not understanding how difficult it is to acquire things or get tasks done she expects everything to happen as if by magic. She also runs her mouth off about things she doesn't understand or know much about, which is almost everything.

On the flip side Ellie is longing for a meaningful friendship. It's something she's never had before, not even with her parents. However she sees her odds as being so small that she tries not to think about how badly she wants a friendship. It shows in her as she gets jealous and emotional around of other people who show friendship and affection towards each other. Ellie can be loving and sensitive with the right kind of trigger but she has walls set up around herself that most people find too much effort to break down. Most of the time nobody ever sees that side of her because she's too much work.

She can be stubborn and a bit rebellious. When she feels wronged she's likely to stew and plot and perform subtle little acts of defiance. However she never holds a grudge for long and most of the time she never acts out her petty revenge fantasies. It's this attitude that's caused her to gravitate away from her parents.

Ellie holds material objects in very low regard. Even money is nothing more than a necessity of life to her. It doesn't bring her any joy. There's nothing that she desires to spend it on. She feels so strongly about this that it even makes her angry. While she doesn't consciously address it, she resents her parents for giving her every THING she could want but when it came to simple family time and affection they always seemed too tired or busy, not even taking the time to say goodnight to her. Ellie is emotionally starved and under-stimulated and it shows. She barely has the mental stamina to hold a happy thought for more than a minute or two.

History: Born and raised in Saffron City as a single child Eille has been spoiled. She never wanted for any material thing because she had it all provided to her before she even knew she wanted it. Her parents were not actually wealthy, they were just careful with their money and wanted to put their daughter first. They didn't show her much affection though, nor did they take any time out of their schedules to actually spend time with her. It wasn't because they were cruel, both parents grew up the same way, so distant from their own workaholic parents that it seemed normal for them. They didn't really know how to be affectionate to their daughter. Their apartment was spotless but very cold, almost clinical and this cold atmosphere also didn't sit well with Ellie.

She grew up unhappy and feeling that she was lacking something more fundamental even if her material wants were met. For example, other children were a foreign concept to her. She generally felt very uncomfortable around them as if she had been thrown in the middle of a wild mightyena pack. Other children seemed to instinctively pick her off, sensing her discomfort and making her feel unwelcome as a result. It was a negative feedback cycle that led her to becoming withdrawn.

As she got older she became more confused about life and her place in it. She couldn't see herself getting a job in an office or in a laboratory even though she had at least a vague interest in the sciences. City life in general made her feel very drained and depressed. The lights, the tall buildings and the noise drew in tourists but made Ellie want to run away, she felt more relaxed around and drawn to trees and flowers and mountains. Growing pressure from her parents made it much worse and didn't help in getting her to hurry up choosing a college course or job.

After a few failed college courses her parents decided that she needed an ultimatum to give her the push she needed to take responsibility of herself. She was given 6 months past her 20th birthday to find a job or get enrolled on a course. If she didn't by then, she was out on the streets. They debated between each other whether or not they would follow through with their threat as they were only doing this to help her. They didn't actually want to see her sleeping rough.

Ellie didn't take this as her parents intended. She jumped to the conclusion that her parents just didn't want her around and didn't care if she survived or not. Their relationship fragmented as the deadline drew near.

With her love of the wilderness she never got the chance to visit Ellie started to search furiously for some direction she could take in order to survive outside the city, instead of having to take up some high-stress city job that was only going to exasperate her emotional state. Pokemon collecting was not an option she had ever considered strongly until now but having realised she didn't have a lot of skills or options this one was at least viable since even children could do it. Collecting and training was something that could even earn her a decent income if she worked hard enough at it. It was something worth trying and having little value for her material things she felt she had little to lose.

Getting a starter pokemon should have followed a specific set of rules. Apply for and acquire a trainer's license, contact a Pokemon Professor (in her case, Professor Oak) and visit them on an arranged date to gain one of the classic three elemental starters. Then begin the journey from there on. This wasn't for Ellie, she was ignorant of all these formal arrangements. She took things into her own naive little hands. She went down into the communal street for the surrounding apartment blocks and captured her very own first pokemon in the night.

Personality: To Eyeball, respect is something earned through effort and Ellie has not earned an ounce of Eyeball's respect. Eyeball takes pride in itself and hates to lose face. It's a no-nonsense magnemite that likes to do things right the first time and has no patience for idiocy or drama, especially not from some bratty trainer.

I'm afraid at level 6, Magnemite would know Supersonic, and not ThunderShock until level 7. If you would like, you could raise it by one level. Also, you can an Egg and TM move if you would like.

Huh, that's odd. I'm using a Gen V learnset and it says it doesn't learn supersonic until level 11, and learns thundershock at level 6. What reference are you using? Are you using a different generation for reference?

I decided not to TM because it was wild originally and magnemite don't have egg moves.

EDIT: Wait wait I see now. On Bulbapedia it has moves for Black and White 2, I assume this is the ones you want. B&W2 were never advertised over here so I forgot they even existed. Post edited with correct information.

In Ellie's History you put that she was born and raised in Saffron City but, under Birthplace you put Castelia City, Unova.

You have no idea how much rage this app has caused me. I thought I'd finally fixed it but I didn't do the birthplace thingy. I don't even know where Castelia in Unova came from, she was always to be Saffron-ian... ish.... Kantonian?
