Battle Style: Matt prefers testing out unorthodox methods in battle. For example, if flamethrower is being used on him, rather than attempting to dodge, assuming he had a Pikachu, he would probably say, "Pikachu, use volt-tackle, right through that flamethrower!" Rather than dodging.
Looks: Matt his short black hair. He has white skin, and sea green eyes.He has a fairly muscular build, the body of an acrobat. He likes wearing jeans,and does so often. Matt has a large scar on his back, from an unlucky encounter with a Scyther.
Matt's costume is a full one piece suit. It is black in color, with a cape and full mask of the same. It is composed of tough materials.
Personality: Matt is very dark and brooding. He just doesn't get along with people. He usually keeps to himself, unless he has to work with a team. He doesn't like others that much and knows that he can't trust anyone. He usually has a 'today is good day to die' attitude. He does not fear death. He is very willing to give his life to a good cause. He has come to terms with his mortality but he knows that when he dies he will go out fighting. Even though he's not a people person, he tries to protect whoever he can. He also pushes himself to hard.He also has a strong sense of right and wrong.
History:
The story of Matt Credious is oftentimes considered interesting, mildly bewildering and incredibly eccentric.
He was born in Castelia City, to a loving father and mother. he lived as a normal boy should have, until age six. That was when he accidentally displayed some of his elementalist power, by accidentally blocking out all of the lights with his powers. Afterwards, in a matter of days, his parents, horrified by this, abandoned Matt in the city and moved on to the Kanto region. Matt took his small rucksack of belongings to the city Park. That was where he encountered his Eevee. It's egg was just hatching. No one else was around, pokemon or person, but him. He took the newly hatched pokemon in his arms and whispered "Looks like both of us got left behind, huh little fella?"
From then on, the two shared a close bond. Matt shared every waking moment with his newly acquired Eevee. The two grew very close. One day, Matt decided he would go to find his parents, with Eevee in tow. But to do so, he decided he would need some serious training. He practiced a variety of things, from parkour to fencing, and martial arts, in case he would ever need it. He also practiced a variety of techniques with his elementalist powers, such as channeling it in blasts or even using it for stealth purposes. Eventually, one night, as he trained his Eevee, which he had dubbed shade, after the dark night when he had found it, he was ambushed by team Plasma, and had his Eevee kidnapped.
With anger in his heart. He snuck into a team Plasma complex, defeated a number of gang-members, and freed his Eevee. Once they escaped to the roof of a nearby building, they sat there for a while, and had a good cry, as Matt held Eevee in his arms. Once they were done, Matt fell asleep, exhausted. Filled with love for it's master, that night Eevee evolved.
The next day, Matt and his partner, Shade the Umbreon found a direction in life. They had a goal- To defeat Team Plasma, and any evil teams of the sort. Matt decided to craft a costume for this job. He wanted to give them a symbol to fear, not a name. He wanted them to think it could be anyone against them. He took up the mantle of the costume, and name The Darkness. He did some traveling for some further training, and had a rather bad encounter with a Scyther, resulting in a large scar on his back.
He now is back in Castelia, ready to wage war on Team Plasma.

Personality: Samurai is best described by his namesake. He never attacks a helpless foe and always acts in fair fights. He has a strong and quiet determination to win no matter what happens to him, and he rarely shows weakness. He's quick to size up and learn from a foe, though from this, his downside is created. As quick he is to learn, the more confident and cocky he grows, leading to his guard not being as strong as it should be.
