Personality: Mamori is an exceptionally calm and patient person, capable of going hours and hours pursuing a single topic long after everyone else would have given up. His patience extends into his Pokemon Battles, due to him utilizing very Bulky, defensive Pokemon meant to wear his opponent down and wear them out.
History: Mamori grew up in Pewter City idolizing the Pewter City Gym Leader Brock. While he preferred to use different types of Pokemon and not just one or two, he idolized the type of Pokemon Brock used, ones involving defense. He wanted to become a trainer and opted to prove that outright offense and brute force wasn't the only way to win a battle, so he made sure to get his starter Pokemon from Professor Oak as soon as he was able, which was a cute little Aron. He wanted to not only challenge Brock, he wanted to surpass him, and he wanted to win every badge as well as all the different Region's Pokemon leagues. So, after he got his Aron, he set out to accomplish his dream.
