PostSubject: Training Karei   Mon May 06, 2013 5:44 pm

Hakudoshi had left Saffron City for a bit and had wound up on Route 7. The purpose of being on this Route was to train his precious Ralts until she became a Kirlia, and then finally a Gardevoir. He had a pretty good idea as to who he wanted to add onto his Party, but for now he just wanted to train his beloved Ralts. First thing's first, he needed to ensure she leveled up to LVL 20 and became a Kirlia. Deciding to not waste any time, he placed Karei, who was cradled in his arms, down on the ground and let her stand on her feet. Now, to begin the training.

"Alright Karei-Chan, let's start things off by sparking a fire with your Thunderbolt on one of the trees. I want you to train the Thunderbolt attack until you are able to start fires with electric sparks intentionally one hundred percent of the time" Hakudoshi ordered Karei. His trusty Ralts nodded her head and fired off a Thunderbolt at one of the nearby trees. While it got a couple of burns and let off a bit of smoke, it wasn't on fire yet. Hakudoshi didn't bother with any verbal commands as Karei knew what he wanted and continued to fire off Thunderbolts at the same tree, increasing or decreasing the intensity of the electricity whenever it was necessary. Eventually, the continued sparks of electricity ignited the tree and it was set ablaze.

Karei wordlessly snuffed out the fire with her psychic abilities as she didn't want the fire to spread, then moved onto the next tree. She fired off a Thunderbolt and the damage was a little more pronounced, but still no fire. Not to be deterred, she continued firing off Thunderbolts, showing her determination and drive to succeed. Every few seconds, she growled or grunted out her species' name and then let off a burst of light as she fired off a Thunderbolt at her defenseless target. It took less time for her to set the tree ablaze so she considered it a success and moved on to the next target after she snuffed out the fire.

With the next tree in her line of sight, she started to spam fire Thunderbolts, determined to spark fires with as little Thunderbolts as possible. She would not let anything get in her way of becoming the most powerful Gardevoir in the Pokemon World. She would become a legend amongst her kind, and would become so powerful that she could even fight Legendary Pokemon and beat them. Thunderbolt after Thunderbolt, grunt after grunt, burst of light after burst of light, and growl after growl, buzz of electricity after buzz of electricity as the small Ralts continuously pursue the task that was given to her.

Eventually, the tree was set on fire before it was quickly snuffed out by the small Psychic Pokemon. With the next tree in her line of sight, she smirked confidently when she realized that the time to set the trees on fire had gotten smaller. So, she pursued her task with a new vigor, firing off multiple Thunderbolts at the tree as she single-mindedly attempted to accomplish what was given to her. She was determined to succeed as it would bring her one step closer to becoming the most powerful Gardevoir of all time. With even less time, she set fire to the helpless tree before she snuffed it out and then dismissed it as she moved onto her next target.

It took her very few Thunderbolts to set the tree on fire, so she quickly snuffed out the fire and then moved onto the next tree. With just a single Thunderbolt this time, she was able to set fire to the next tree. After quickly snuffing out the fire, she continued on with her task as she started firing off random Thunderbolts to random trees, setting them all on fire with just a single bolt each. Eventually coming to the realization that she had set out to accomplish what she was tasked with, she snuffed out the fires with her Psychic abilities and quietly turned to her trainer, quietly waiting for any new orders. Hakudoshi looked down at her with narrowed eyes as his mind raced with ideas over what he could have her train in next.

He did consider having her train the speed of her Teleport attack, but decided to stick to her Thunderbolt for now. "OK, so you know how to spark fires one hundred percent of the time, now we'll try and vaporize the trees until you can do it with one Thunderbolt all the time. I want you to be switch back and forth between the after effects of the Thunderbolt freely, instead of just having one or the other. Now, please get to it Karei-Chan" Hakudoshi ordered his precious Ralts, causing her to nod her head wordlessly as she turned towards the various trees she had burned with her sparked fires.

She quickly went to work, firing off Thunderbolts that she had pumped more Aura into as she attempted to obliterate the trees around her. It took a lot of time and effort, this time much harder and longer than just sparking fires. She kept starting fires, causing her to put them out, so the progress was slower than the other training she did with the Thunderbolt attack. However, she wouldn't let it deter her for she was far too focused and determined to succeed so she wouldn't let something as trivial as slow progress get in her way. Eventually, her hard work and effort would pay off as she managed to start obliterating trees with little effort, completely vaporizing them.

Hakudoshi nodded his head with an excited grin on his face. "Alright Karei-Chan, you did good so we can rest for now. We'll keep doing things like this until you become a Gardevoir" Hakudoshi said to the little Ralts, causing her to nod her head excitedly with an excited grin on her face as well, hardly able to contain her excitement over the thought of becoming a beautiful Gardevoir. She panted a bit as she walked over to Hakudoshi and wrapped her arms around his leg in an affectionate hug, causing the ten year old blue-haired boy to smile in an affectionate manner as he softly encased her small body in a loving hug.

Rounded down, that's 105 EXP. Never had to apply this much EXP before, this should be fun. Karei learns Lucky Chant, reaches level 20, with 6 EXP left over. I'd suggest evolving her in the next post, as well.

Suddenly, as the two embraced, Karei glowed white and started undergoing a change. She grew taller and gained more pronounced features and then let off an explosion of light. When everything died down, her new form was revealed, that of a Kirlia.

Dah-nuh-nah-NAAAAAAAAA!!! (The Zelda chime, if I didn't do that right)

Karei has evolved into a KIRLIA! Enjoy busting heads even more than before! Your app has been edited to match, as well. Congrats!
