Personality:Yurei is a calm,quite natured boy who has a passion for adventure and exploring.coming from a young age,he is usually playful,care free and very cunning.being a prankster at a young age gave him the title ghost kid. being known for the mis-deeds he was very well know almost notorious. being born and raised in lavender town would make you assume he was a gloomy dark kind of kid who moped around and had his head down,well not Yurei. at young he seemed to express more feeling then most and some how never went into the "Lavender sickness" that most people caught. instead he was a go happy kind of kid, growing up he grew custom to being more quite and silent,like his favorite pokemon, ghost. he also grew much wise and trouble some he can prove to be a problem at times but it's all in good fun.even thought his appearance would let off a rather dark and upset mood, he dose rarely feature these emotions and moods of sadness thought rarely.
History:Yurei as a kid was branded one of the most expressive kids there was.being born in Lavender town and all,the home of "the lavender sickness" where everyone was supposedly sad and upset.well not this kid he was always hyper and energetic which made him odd compared to the others who live in the town. as time went by and he matured he grew more quite and distant from his people and grew hunger for adventure wanting to explore the world and see all the brand new stuff in store for him that this world bestowed.eventually granting his own wish he ran away at the age of 14 thinking he could do it all his own not entirely sure nor understanding of the wonders that he would encounter or what awaited him in the near future.
around the time of his escape he heard noises coming from the pokemon tower near by. running in and seeing a Gastly in danger from other Gastly's he quickly rushed to it's aid,completely unsure what to do at the moment he quickly shouted out to the pokemon to follow him running off into the distance. seeing his old hiding spot he use to always run to when ever he was in trouble he quickly notified the pokemon of it and they both hid quietly to pass the time.morning came and his mother had found them both in the pit sleeping away awaking Yurei. He astonished yelped loudly awaking the pokemon startling it as well as it began to freak out almost in sync the two ran back and forth as his mother laughed of this site.after that morning she had known that Yurei was one of exploration and adventure as a child and decide to let him go on his own seeing as he had a companion already some how she smiled to this and nodded giving him a bag with a few supplies a map of the region and a kiss good bye.
ever since then Yurei has been on his own adventure exploring the world for new and exciting adventures and tales to come by and experience with his partner Gastly who is ever so grateful to him ever since that night. Gastly was as faithful a pokemon as ever.
