Personality: Hakudoshi is, at first glance, a problem child. He can be considered disrespectful and even has a bit of a foul mouth. He is a prideful person and takes his profession as a trainer seriously, often tending to react poorly whenever someone looks down on him or his skills as a trainer. He has a bit of a temper problem and he dislikes being underestimated and tends to train very hard in order to succeed because he has a dream of becoming a legend in the Pokemon World. To him, being a Master or a Champion isn't enough, he dreams big and aspires to be greater than great. While he is difficult to get along with at first, it is very possible to get in his good graces, and when someone does, he can treat them like the best of friends. He holds a deep, sentimental attachment to his Ralts, who he nicknamed Karei, and will not take kindly to someone insulting her.

History: Hakudoshi's parents lived in Vermillion City, and were a rather poor family. His father was a wash-out trainer and his mother was a failed Pokemon Coordinator. When he was born, he cost them a lot of money to take care of him and they couldn't afford to take care of him, so they dropped him off at an orphanage. His father had a Gardevoir who had recently laid an egg, and decided that the least both he and his mother could do for him was give him a friend to be with throughout the years by giving it to him with instructions for the caretaker at the orphanage.

While he was still an infant, the egg hatched into Ralts and the two, as infants, grew up together, forming a special bond. The two grew up over the years together and, as he grew older, Hakudoshi eventually discovered he had some psychic abilities. When he found this out, he and Ralts were capable of communicating together telepathically. When he officially became a trainer, Karei became his official start Pokemon, and they had been together since.
