Personality: Mirage is determined, concentrated and independent. Initially, she is cold and standoffish, distancing herself from her companions. Much of this attitude is fueled from what Team Plasma had done to her, which leads her to lash out at those she believes are responsible for that. As one gets to know her, Mirage begins to show compassion and trust others, and sees the errors in her approach. She also begins to soften up, becomes more kinder, trusts others, and asks them for help. She expresses her emotions more rather than keeping them bottled up inside her.
History: When Mirage was just 10 years old, Team Plasma had come to her town to 'liberate' Pokemon from their trainers. She saw this as not 'liberation', but 'stealing', so she stepped up to the leader and demanded that he leave with his men and never come back. She felt that he was disturbing the peace, and Mirage knew that the trainers/owners of Pokemon in her town were treating the Pokemon well. They were bonded, and Team Plasma was threatening the bond. As a result of her boldness, the leader had her kidnapped during the night, and shipped her off to a laboratory owned by Team Plasma. There, she learned that Ghetsis, the current leader, was trying to make Pokemon Trainers who were loyal to him and were fused with Pokemon DNA. He first tried it out on Mirage, mostly because she talked back to him back in Accumula Town, but also for his own 'scientific purposes'. She was fused with Zorua DNA, which granted her the tail, ears, fangs, claws, and eyesight of a Zorua, as well as its Ability. She could now 'transform' into some Pokemon/person using the Illusion Ability. Mirage's hair was also affected, giving its once pink color, a dark gray hue with red 'splashes' of color here and there. This was seen as a mild side-effect by Ghetsis, and being pleased by these results, had Mirage subjected to some painful tests, then injected with another Pokemon's DNA. This granted her Pidgeot wings, which she could use to fly. Both of these injections also allowed her to understand Pokemon Speech. Of course, these results made Ghetsis even more happy. He planned to inject her with another Pokemon's DNA, to see how much Pokemon DNA he could inject in a human being, but using her new 'powers', Mirage escaped, and found that she had been in the laboratory for 6 years. She ran as far away as she could from the laboratory, and eventually took flight to escape the thousands of Houndooms, Stoutlands, and Liepards that were sent by Team Plasma to retrieve her. Mirage was now on a journey to run from Team Plasma, and on her journey, she met an Emolga who had also run away from the laboratory. Team Plasma had tried to 'evolve' it, even though there was no evolution for an Emolga. They became quick friends.

(He only had to fly out a window that one of the scientists had stupidly opened while he was flying in the room.)
