The Beginning of One's First Journey

A young man with uniquely red hair stepped off the train as it finally made it to goldenrod city in the Johtoh Region. Lexius yawned loudly as he took a few steps inside the less cramped room in the goldenrod city's train station. "Man, the brochures make that thing sound like its instant travel. I can't believe I fell for that though, who in their right mind believes a train cand take someone from one region to another so easily anyway? Ahh nevermind, I'm here so its no problem now."

Lexius glanced around the room paying little attention to the people around him and notices a bench nearby and sits down on one resting his forearm over his eyes for a while. "I wonder... was this really a good idea..."

Man, trains were not as fun as his father's ship. It was crowded, noisy, and overall uncomfortable. Plus, it was underground, and being underground was not one of Jinkei's favorite things to do. It was just about the opposite from being on the sea, where you could move freely. He stepped off the train happily, stretching for the first time since he got onto the train.  He pulled out a pokeball from his bag and clicked the button in the center. After a flash of light,  a Dratini appeared, coiled and snoring slightly.

"Come on, Serenity, we're here!"

Serene uncoiled slightly, lifting her head up to lazily look around, [Oh, cool...I'm so tired...]

Jinkei frowned, maybe his pokemon needed to go to the pokemon center for a little bit of rest. He picked her up and placed her on his shoulder, and she wrapped herself around his shoulder and neck. He started to walk out of the station, and then realized that he had no idea where the center actually was. He looked around and saw a boy sitting on a nearby bench, holding his arm over his eyes, looking like he was a local here. He walked over to him and shyly tapped his shoulder,

"Excuse me, do you know where to find the pokemon center around here?"

Jinkei wrote:

Lexius sighed softly with his forearm still covering his eyes as he leaned back on the bench and spoke "Not a clue... you're new here too?" Lexius was very tired by now but lifted his palm from his side and pointed outside. "I'm not certain but, my uncle did some reasearch nearby awhile back. If his stories are reliable then the pokemon center should be just down the road from the exit here."

Jinkei looked over to where he was pointed, and saw nothing but tall buildings and busy streets. Looking at the business of the city, he thought to himself that he wouldn't be able to navigate that without help.

"Uh, Yeah. See, if you don't mind, I think I want someone coming with me, so I don't get lost. You seem like a trustworthy person, do you mind?"

He hoped that he would, he didn't want to get lost in this city, because Serene looked to be getting sicker by the second. If he got lost in it, she could severely be injured.

Jinkei wrote:

Lexius sighed softly and spoke "Can't you jus..." he paused in the middle of his question and thought to himself (Ugh I'm tired but it goes against my nature to ignore someone in need of help...) lifting his forearm from his light brown eyes, Lexius stood up and took a few steps from the boy whom approached him "I'm not sure either and it'd be easier to ask a local but I guess I can help you look for it... My name is Lexius by the way." Lexius began walking out of the train station expecting the boy would follow him.
