Zayn smiled as his ship pulled into the port. He walked off smiling at the huge city around him. "Ah Unova, finally we made it"he said the the Charmeleon on his left. The two then strode into the city.

First the two stopped by the Pokemon Center. Next was the Ice cream cart, where Zayn discovered Charmeleon's tail and ice cream don't mix. And finally they arived at the route leading to Nimbasa. "You ready" he asked the orange Pokemon. It nodded. Zayn smiled. He walked out onto the route. Right away he spotted a ___________________.

Their stroll would be quickly interrupted by the sound of a crying Pokemon. The noise seemed to come out of a nearby tree, and it was unclear just what was making it from that point.

Zayn turned his head. He slowly walked over to the tree. He was gripping Pyro's pokeball as he crept over to the massive piece of vegetation.

Trembling and shaking from atop a very high branch was a young Purrloin. It's coat seemed darker than most, and glimmered slightly in the sunlight. The Pokemon yowled in fright once more, staring down at the ground that was a long distance from the branch. She seemed to have climbed the tree and was now too frightened to get down. Her claws dug into the thick bark, and she continued to tremble and occasionally cry out.

Zayn looked at the Pokemon."Wow a shiny pokemon"he said. Zayn frowned when he saw its predicament."Don't worry I will get you down"he said grabbing onto the nearest branch. He slowly started to climb up until he could barely reach the branch the Purrloin was on. The tip of his hand touched the branch."Climb down my arm"he said to the Pokemon.

Purrloin continued trembling, and shivered more and more often as the trainer got closer. She dug her claws in deeper, and when Zayn reached her, she would not budge. Her eyes stared wide at his arm, but she was to frightened of both him and the height to think of going anywhere.

Zayn sighed. He the stretched with all of his might. He picked up the Pokemon and slowly pulled it down to his chest.

The Purrloin trembled violently and yowled loudly, digging her claws into Zayn's shirt as well as his hand, leaving long stretches of red.

Zayn winced. "Well that will leave a mark"he said as he started to climb down the tree.

The Purrloin quietened down as a sense of security came over. Seeing the ground so close, it mewled happily.

Zayn smiled and set the Pokemon down."Now that's much better now"he said petting it. He smiled at the cat..

The Purrloin extended it's neck, liking being petted. It's fur glinted in the sunlight as it looked up with grateful eyes and nestled against Zayn's leg, cuddling happily. Then with one bound, it jumped up to his shoulder and was soon fast asleep.

Zayn smiled. "So I guess you want to come with me"he said."Well then, welcome to the team"he said before continuing down the route.

A Shieldon wandered out of the brush, looking slightly lost. It noticed Zayn but ignored him. It started scraping up dead leaves slowly. On second thoughts, it went and started polishing it's face on the rough bark of the tree trunks.

Zayn smiled. He would be catching a ton of pokemon today."Pyro"Zayn said releasing him,"Ember". The fire type launching a small burst of fire at the Shieldon.

The Steel part of Shieldon took damage while the Rock part resisted it. As a result, Shieldon was caught between the two sides and ended up with minor damage. Rushing at the Charmeleon, it lowered it's rock-hard head for a Headbutt.

Zayn smiled as Charmeleon side steped the Shieldon."Metal Claw"he called out and Pyro charged.

Sheildon jumped back, dodging it as it stood still, pawing the ground. Suddenly, rearing up on it's hind legs, it brought down it's front legs full force on the ground, causing a wide crack heading straight for the Charmeleon. A deep Fissure(EM) split open.

(Note that Headbutt is also an EM)
