Training in the trees (Mod)

Alice hadn't been on the move for some time. She had been busy trying to plot out new idea for appeals, and failed to notice that her team was lacking power. That was why she, Seraphina the Pichu, and Rune the Snorunt were here in Eterna Forest.
"Okay you two, we're going to be here for a while so be careful. Don't get too hurt out there."
The electric and ice types nodded and mounted their places on their trainer: Sera on Alice's head, and Rune in her arms.
"Alright, let's get going!"
Alice then began to walk slowly through the thigh high grass, keeping an eye out for anyone to battle or any Pokemon that could be fought or caught.

As she plodded along, a soft buzzing caught her attention. Then a very angry Combee suddenly flew from the bushes. Rune leaped from her place in Alice's arms, and grunted.
"Yes! With you being an ice type you have a four times advantage over a bug and flying type! Rune use powder snow!"
Rune blow a shot of cold air toward the Combee, small snow flakes amid the chilling wind.

The winds picked up and Combee buzzed louder, and Rune stumbled with the force against her. Rolling on the ground she only stopped once Alice picked her up and placed her back on the ground. Rune hopped forward and glared, using power snow once again.

Rune quickly stumbled out of the way of the returning attack, and growled softly. This would be one intense battle.
"Rune use Double team!"
Clones of Rune circled Combee, and then they all used power snow. But most were an illusion, they wouldn't do any damage. The real one though was a mystery, the real attack that would truly hurt Combee.

The real Rune leaped up as Combee tried to fly away and used power snow right behind it. Bouncing on a tree branch she watched as Combee tried to out run the attack, whether it would or not would be up to fate.

Rune quickly followed Combee to the ground and stood ready, she refused to attack Combee while it was down. She wanted a fair fight.

Rune saw the Combee struggling, trying to thaw it's wing and sending Gust in every direction but Rune. Rune felt it was time to end this, she couldn't watch this anymore. With a deep inhale she sent a strong powder snow toward Combee, hoping to end the battle here.

Rune smiled and hoped back over to her place in Alice's arms.
"Well done Rune! Let's keep going!"
Alice kept walking, hoping the Combee would be alright but was sure it would be.

The rustling caused Seraphina to perk up her ears, and then growl softly. She wanted it to be her turn this time. Leaping from Alice's head, sparks jumped from the red patches of fur on her cheeks. Bent back on all fours in a menacing pose, she was prepared.

Sera screeched softly as she was attacked with absorb. Shaking herself she began with a wink, sending pink hearts toward Budew. Attract.

"Now use thundershock!"
Sparks danced across the red patches of the Pichu's cheeks and she sent a jolt toward the Budew.

"This one's got some fight to him... Sera don't attack, a grass type could surely be useful to us!"
Seraphina nodded and jumped back to Alice's side, pokeball in the trainer's hand.

Alice smirked and with a flick of her wrist threw the pokeball at the Budew. It tapped against it's forehead, and absorbed the tiny grass type in a red light. The ball fell onto the ground, and begun to shake, Alice inhaling silently and holding her breath.
