Battle Style: Alaton sees his Pokémon as friends and don't want them to get hurt. That's the reason why he often quits a battle instead of finishing it. He is sometimes a bit too defensive and waits for the enemy start the battle. He also refuses to attack Pokémon that nearly fainted and trying to get up. This causes him to loose some battles that he could have won. In the end he tries to use his ability to sense the Aura of Pokémon to know when he have to stop a fight. However Alaton often tries to avoid battles and isn't sure if he should try to get badges he is more used to training his Pokémon and raising them.

Looks: Though Alaton is 16 Years old he looks like a 12 yaer old boy. He is only about 1,5meters and weights only about 45kg. His body doesn't look well trained but this is some kind of illusion. He is well trained and can easily climb and so, where low weight is to the best advantage. He never wanted to look like a bodybuilder or something like it. He only wants to be fast, fit and ready to survive a long and sometimes dangerous journey. His quite long brown hair borders his boyish face with his big blue eyes. With a smile in his face he looks like a little brat with no experience of life.
Fitting to his big blue eyes Alaton wears a white, black and blue outfit. His T-shirt and his jacket are both sleeveless but for the colder times he wears a black coat which then covers all of his body. Around his hip there is a brown belt with some belly bags to carry his Pokeballs and Pokedex. It is the same brown as his hairs. At least he wears a necklace with a blue hexagon. It looks kind of strange to some people but it is out of a crystal that Alaton had found by himself. A friend made this necklace out of it then.

Personality: Alaton is a very intelligent Person who tries to think before doing something. This however doesn't mean that he misses chances because he thinks too much about it. When he sees that somebody needs help he doesn't thin and acts precipitately. Sometimes he seems to be a bit shy because he got tricked very often and so he doesn't trust humans at first sight. His ability to sense the aura however helps him to identify people how worth to trust them. When someone earned had earned his trust then Alaton is a true friend and helps in every way he can. For him friendship is one of the most important things on the world.
His Friends Rica and Eon are the "things" he likes most at the moment. They are more then friends for him. Beside his Pokémon Alaton loves music and he plays the Ocarina. He often climbs on a tree near his home and plays the Ocarina at night time. It sometimes seems that the nature hold the breath when he plays and the Pokémon were listening. The night is something special for Alaton. Not only he had met Ralts in that time it has some kind of a mystery. Many Pokémon only leave there den and Alaton loves to only watch them.
On the other hand Alaton hates people that think they are better then others for any reason. Even when they captured a Legendary. They are mostly the same people which think they are unbelievable cool and try to show it but aren't even a little cool and only plays on everyone's nerves.

History:

Childhood
Alaton was born in Littleroot. His parents have a Farm for different Berries near the little village. While Alaton grew up Pokémon often show up sometimes to steal one or two of the Berries and sometimes at night to sleep. His parents didn't mind the Pokémon stealing some of the Berries as long as the had enough to sell to earn the money for living. In the summertime when the Berries were ready for harvesting Alaton had to help even when he was 4 years old. He however didn't mind it was some kind of fun. They rarely scared a Pokémon hidden below a bush when they pick Berries. It was a nice life for him but he always wanted to deal with Pokémon more often. That's why he stayed up very long when he was about 8. To see the Pokémon leaving their hiding places and wandering around. Sometimes he tries to leave his home to watch them closely but he hadn't much success. He always scared them off and hardly ever could get nearer to a wild Pokémon then 10 meters.


The Trick
When Alaton was about 11 he was old enough to start a Pokémon journey, what the dream of every young boy and girl was in the village. The difficulty was o get a first Pokémon. That's why Professor Birch sometimes present some young people with a Pokémon. But only the ones he trusted. Alaton and many some other kids always tried to make the Professor trust them because many didn't have parents which could give them a Pokémon. Then someday there was day big day. the Professor had three Pokémon to give. The rivalry between the children had grown to a contest because it were about 6 who wanted to get a Pokémon. That meant three wouldn't get one. Some days before the big day three boys decided to trick the other to get a Pokémon for sure. Alaton didn't know this and so he wasn't more carful then normal. He helped Birch out when he could worked on their farm and played with other children. The three however broke in their house the night before the big day and changed all clocks and watches in the house. But Alaton was not the only one who go tricked. They put some sleeping powder in the drink of one girl who was meant to have the chance to get a Pokémon. The third one was the poorest because he got involved in a brawl and had to be brought into a hospital. Afterwards it looked like an accident. The next morning Alaton was woken up by his alarm as usual. Noticing the sun stands unusually high this morning he looked at his clock. Nearly one hour left before he had to go to Professor Birch. He did his morning toilette and ate a breakfast. It was the big day that's why he was really nervous. Would he be under the 50% who gets a Pokémon or not. When he got to the Laboratory he found a girl crying in front of the door. On assistant of Birch was right beside her and tried to console her. Alaton asked what happened and he was told that the girl slept too long and overslept the presentation of the Pokémon. Alaton looked at his watch which said that there was still time left and then a the watch of the girl. That was the moment hen he realized that he got tricked. his clock seemed to be wrong. Two hours wrong like the clocks and the alarm. This couldn't be an incident. His face turned pale and he wanted to cry to but held back. He was now sure that the girl got tricked too. But there was nothing they could do anymore. Alaton went into the laboratory only to get blamed for being that late. there wasn't a Pokémon left. Only three had made it in time and go the three starters. In this Moment Alaton wanted to face them to take their Pokémon and give one to the little girl and keep two for him and the boy at the hospital. It was even too late for this. the three already had left the village and it would not be ease to find them, impossible without a Pokémon. Nobody could prove that the three hat tricked them so there was no help they could get. So in the end he ended up without a Pokémon and the only consolation that next year he would get another chance.


The Aura part 1
After the three had played this trick and had left the village, the tricked girl, who is called Angelica, nearly broke down. Her parents weren't that nice and the often hat quarrels. the Pokémon journey would have been the way to flee from them. That's why Alaton and his parents decided that she could live at their farm for a while. He was also desperate because he got tricked to and so the two could help each other to get over it. It was strange that the two found meditating as a way to clear the mind focus on what is important and to get over their fail. When it got night Alaton and Angelica often sit between the bushes in the light of the moon meditating. Sometimes there were chatting quietly and other times they were just sitting and enjoying the silence of the night. Focusing only on themselves and on the nature they soon realised something. It was like they could feel each other. With the eyes closed Alaton knew when Angelica stands up without a noise. He could feel it somehow and it was really scary at first. Angelica however felt the same and when they started to speak over it and tried many times they found out that they were able to some kind of feel each other and others for example Pokémon. The two thought that they would have a lot of time, because they had to wait one year for the chance to get a Pokémon but something happened instead. The parents of Angelica divorced and her father left the town. They knew that this would be even harder for her and so the spent a lot of money to provide her a Pokémon. So she could go on a journey. Angelica was very happy but still a bit said because now Alaton had to wait alone to start a Pokémon journey. He really was a bit jealous but said to her that she should start her journey and he will catch up sometime. So she left Littleroot and Alaton continues the training of feeling the Aura of living things. They found out that it was the Aura what they could feel.


Rica the Ralts
Now the days were always the same Alaton continued school worked at the farm when he was needed and in his free time he meditated. Soon Alaton got 12 years old and the big day was again coming up. His second chance to get a Pokémon. This time he would get it he was very sure but then something unexpected happened. It was late evening and his was again sitting between the bushes on the farm with closed eyes under the blinking stars. He was meditating enjoying the silence. But suddenly he could feel something strange. He had often felt Pokémon around the farm but this time it was different. It felt like a Pokémon but still not as Pokémon feels normally. Curious h decided to go into the woods and find out what the feeling causes. Between the trees it was very dark. Only less light could break through the leaves of the trees. Suddenly Alaton heard a strange noise. It sounded like someone crying. After he had reached the place he saw a little Ralts lying on the floor crying as it was in pain. Alaton noticed that it was very weak but didn't know why. It didn't seem that it had any wounds. He however knew one thing whatever it was this little Ralts needed help. He carefully picked it up and ran to Proferssor Birch Laboratory. After a angry Professor was waken up and looked at the Ralts it turned out that the little Pokemon as badly poisoned. That was not all of the Problem Birch knew that only in a Pokemon Center Ralts could be cured and it was already very weak. Alaton decided that he will bring Ralts to the nearest Pokemon Center at once. It was in the next very little village Oldale Town. It was very dangerous for Alaton in the middle of the night without a Pokemon carrying a poisoned Ralts. In the dark he couldn't see much but instead heart a lot of scary sounds. In the end he made it in one piece to Oldale Town but got two times attacked by Pokémon not knowing which. He burst into the Pokémon Center and Nurse Joy took care of the Ralts. Alaton fell asleep in the waiting room and was woken up by a call of his parents. It as morning and they were missing him and something else hat happened what they didn't want to tell him until he was at home. Alaton had to wait more time until Ralts was released and was brought back to Alaton. It was strange because Alaton was not a Trainer and Ralts a wild Pokémon still it seemed to know that Alaton had saved it's life. It hugged him as much as it could and afterwards they left the Pokémon center Ralts sitting on his shoulder. Together the went back to Littleroot. This time it was more pleasant then last. On one hand it was day and the sun shining bright so that they could see everything. On the other hand Ralts was on Alatons side and there was only one incident but Ralts scared the Attacking Pokémon with growl off. They stopped at short before Littleroot and the farm. Alaton knew it was time to say goodbye. He let the Ralts climb down hi arm and petting it a last time he left waving his hand hopping he would see that Ralts again. It stood there watching Alaton leave and waving too. He didn't look back because he couldn't be able to take the sight. There was something else he was shocked by when he reached the farm. The Bushes and trees were attacked by Pokémon. It was a chaos. a lot was destroyed and his parents in between trying to made up a plan what to do now. When he got to his parents he first had to help taking away the destroyed bushes and trees. The family didn't have much money but now it would really be problematic. After a day of a lot off work Alaton fell in his bed very tired and slept at once. While he was dreaming he felt something on his body and woke up scared and surprised. It was the Ralts sitting on his stomach. In surprise Alaton sat up and the little Ralts fell on his bed but it didn't mind. Alaton was not sure if he was still sleeping or not and looked frozen at the Ralts. The Ralts pointed at the Poke balls and then at itself. Alaton looked like he wasn't understanding. He took one and threw it at the Ralts it didn't defend itself and soon after the Poke ball made a click. Now Alaton was really sure that he was dreaming and he laid back and short after he felt asleep. The next morning he was waken up by his mother. After she had left his room, Alaton wanted to made himself ready for breakfast but noticed that one of the Poke balls was on a different place then the day before. He slowly took it and as he opened it a Ralts jumped out and climbed on his shoulder. At first he didn't know what to think then he remembered. Was the dream really true? Obviously. He named it Rica because he knew that it was feminine. Nurse Joy told him. Now he had a Pokémon and a story to tell he thought while leaving his room for breakfast.


The Aura part 2
The days were very hard for the little family which Ralts had joined. Alaton wanted to start a Pokémon journey because know he hat a Pokémon but his parents needed him to help at the farm. Now there was much destroyed and the four were fighting for survival. Rica helped as much as she could but she was only a little Pokémon. She was however able to convey comfort to Alaton because he still wanted to start a journey. It had taken them two years to get out of the crises but Alaton learned a lot in that time. He soon realized that he was able to feel more then the presence of a Pokémon through the Aura. He was able to send or receive feelings. Still not understanding a Pokémon he however knew if it was angry said or happy. He trained this ability a lot and also trained Rica so that she learned new moves to be well prepared when the journey was to start.


The Pokémon egg
Now Alaton was 14 Years old. the farm was as it was before the incident two years ago. And finally it was time to start a Pokémon journey. The next day will be his 15th birthday and after a bigger party he was able to start his journey. Excited and after sleeping a long time he woke up in the morning. Rica seeped beside him and was hardly ever in her ball. They both get used to it. After waking her up he made his way to the bathroom to make himself ready for the party which would start in the morning and end in the evening. The party started as soon as Alaton entered the living room. All his friends were standing there and waiting for him to come. A loud "Happy birthday" went through the room as he had to hug a lot of people wishing him a happy birthday. But the biggest surprise was that Angelica showed up. She just stood there smiling. Alaton suddenly was caught in the past. He remembered sitting with her between the bushes and meditating. She got a lot older and sure was a very good Pokémon Trainer now. They talked a lot and she old him about her journey. It was nearly unrealistic what she had told him and so they both knew that the wouldn't travel together. She was only back in Littleroot because she wanted to see Kanto and wanted to say goodbye. Alaton however wanted to start his journey in Hoenn. But a goodbye was not forever they both knew they would see each other again. Angelica brought Alaton a special surprise from her journey. A Pokémon egg. Even she didn't know what was in it. And Alaton was looking forward to see it hatching.


Eon the Eevee
A few days later Angelica had left. She made Alaton a promise that they would see each other again before she disappeared like about three years ago. Alaton was a bit sad but would always remember her promise and he was going to see her again when he was a good Pokémon Trainer. But the time had changed Alaton out of the boy that only wanted to make a journey a boy had grown that was more responsible. He didn't want to get Rica hurt and however they were training he didn't fight much against wild Pokémon. He decided to start his journey as soon as the egg had hatched. It didn't take much time before it was cracking and revealing a little Eevee. It was a rare Pokémon and Alaton now had to care for it. He changed his plan and cared for the Eevee which he called Eon for about a month. Professor Birch who really was interested in Eon helped Alaton as much as he could. It took not much time and Eon was ready to accompany Alaton on his journey. So now is the big day. The day to leave...
